Way too expensive i am now poor

The staff at the Albany store need training on how to handle food. They shake milk bottles for the fun of it. Milk, when shaken, gets spoiled faster. They throw fruits onto the shelves. A damaged fruit gets spoiled overnight. Someone needs to inform them about these basic facts regarding food.

Pak N Save Royal Oak misrepresented an advertised special instore, when i asked about it they gave me some BS excuse and the narrative was turned on me and how i am a builder and i made mistakes and caused the Leaky building crisis in NZ. in all fairness i was given the products for free, but this should have been done straight away without question. Nothing that a supermarket in nz is a mistake, everything is intentional. They are highly efficient money making machines sucking the life out of everyday kiwis.

Very unfriendly and extremely unhelpful when asking for assistance to register Shop 'n Go. Debbie is definitely the most unfriendly person I have ever encountered. Pak 'n Save staff should be friendly and helpful.

Horrible place to work. Managers are verbally and sometimes physically aggressive towards their staff. Shouting at and abusing them in front of customers often for trivial things and things beyond their control (checkout crashes, eftpos failures) then throwing objects at them (tablets diaries etc) to the point staff are in tears. They even sack staff for joining a union too.

Getting sick of buying chicken breast and the chicken juice leaking everywhere in the boot of my car.
Wrap it up properly or offer a bag to cover. Sheesh

I noticed that a 750 gr value packet with roasted unsalted Almonds I bought two months ago at Lincoln Paknsave is now reduced to 500gr and cost the same as the 750 gr before so an increase of 33%
People think while grabbing the parcel from the shelves that they buy the same as before, the packet looks the same !
This is very deceiving ,
Also the specialty bread The farmhuose cobb has less seeds ( like pumkin seeds etc) in it ! So you think you get the same bresd as before but no they diminish their costs and deceive customers, it are the little things customers need to get aware of those things !
The bread I noticed on the 23 of July but the almond I noticed in June

i had a good experience in pakn save Mangere today where staff offered to store my hand trolley full of groceries away for safe keeping while i went back to get a milk i had forgotten to buy, very pleased with the help around & overall cleanliness of the supermarket, top marks.

Did an online shop from Clarence St, Hamilton and ordered Beef Brisket On The Bone. It was nothing like its picture and over 50% solid fat. Uneatable so had to throw away. Funny you can review some products on Pak N Save website but not this product.

I wanted to buy 4 loaves of cheap bread. Their cheapest was $1.69 but you were ONLY allowed to buy 2 loaves.
So I went to Copelands where the cheap bread was $1.79 per sliced loaf & you could buy as
many as you want.

My impression of paknsave who skites about being oh so much cheaper than anyone else is, that it's miserly.

Fire Gail A. Accused a 13 year old girl for stealing when i had the receipt in my hand the entire time! Was rude the entire time and had attitude with me. Horrible customer service.

Visited the Whanganui Pak 'n' Save today and decided to purchase a saucepan for $19.99. Checked my receipt after I got home and discovered that I had been charged for THREE saucepans!
Never letting my guard down at that store again!

PNS Lower Hutt Store
Raised concerns about school children doing learning causing a Health and Safety risk to customers. Told by Tia (a supervisor) that the kids were shopping. She knew they were not shopping and deliberately lied to me. This is not my first challenge with her. About 3 months ago, she verbally abused, threatened and yelled at me to the point where I thought she was going to punch me. I felt so unsafe that, if i had my cellphone on me, I would have called police to attend. Raised the concern with the store owner (Karl) who refused to do anything then and has no interest in doing anything this time despite a clear pattern of unacceptable and dishonest behaviour. Foodstuffs head office have not been very helpful either.

Purchased Hot Cross Buns at Sylvia Park yesterday. An impulse buy not on my shopping list. Got home thinking " a treat" - it wasn't!! Buns were small, heavy and tasteless. No spice and maybe 2 or 3 sultanas. Don't buy!!

Silverdale. Coffee up $5, cheese slices up $5, biscuits up $2, many items going up in prices week to week, appalling. Indian femal store assistant at self check asked by machine to check my items 4x one onion, one carrot, 1 packet chips, set peppers, looked at me like a criminal, poked the bag if chips which I said, the look I got back nasty, rude and no smile nothing appalled

Falsely accused of theft at the Clarence St location Hamilton. They took my personal belongings at checkout and refused to give them back to me. Police arrived and determined so didn't steal anything. I was still then trespassed for 2 years and embarrassed in front of an entire store full of customers. Not to mention not refunded the full amount for my purchase nor give the items I partially paid for.

Thames PAC N Save 3.30pm 21/3:
I was crossing the very bumpy pedestrian crossing outside the main door when the back flap of the trolly opened and a few items plus a bottle of wine fell on the ground. The bottle broke!
A PAC n Save employee was getting into a car nearby - transpired she was going home. She came over - honed the shop for assistance. Said I would get a replacement.
Security man arrived and withreplacement wine. Young female employee was friendly, professional and helpful - beyond the call of duty!! Well done Thames PAC n Save!!

I think your bakery employees at the Royal Oak branch need teaching with some manners. I have observed their ways or manners over the years. They either ignore a customer patiently waiting until finally attended to, or they are rash in their interaction with the customer. Again this morning, for example, I was over the counter waiting for someone to attend to my wish to buy sausage rolls. After trying to ring the bell thrice, a much older lady nearby, who seemed to keep ignoring the ringing, finally came to attend to me and later with a somewhat crossed disposition - on her face. When she finally gave the rolls, she handed these heavily, creating a thud over the counter before my stunned face. It looked as if she was unsatisfied, if not regretful, at working as a sales or bakery assistant. Perhaps she needed to be terminated and to rid the workplace of her bad behaviour at work - especially towards customers.

Manukau Paknsave needs a new name,"checkitoutyourselfpaknsave "
Either wait 4 large trolleys deep to go through staffed checkout or do it yourself, pity help you if you have a large shop that doesn't fit on the space or you are in a hurry! Very frustrating!!
The staff helped in the end which I was grateful for.
