been buying the in store meals at whangārei for the past couple of weeks and enjoying them,my last purchase yesterday bought 3.the first one was Ok prawn fried rice,a bit dry but the next one I had today was sweet sour pork and it was really disappointing.must be somebody new in the kitchen that has lower standards.

We have totally stopped shopping at pak and save ,as of 8 weeks ago because of the poor quality fruit and vegetables and high prices they offer !!
We bought mangos that were hard as a nut ,but thought will wait a few days and they should be ready to eat.
Well it took just on 2 weeks for them to be ready ,but when cut open ,they were black and rotten !!
Took them to the store and they said they only exchange on fruit that is no older than 5 days !!
Absolutely pathetic behaviour by the store ,and $5 a mango lost !!
We would spend $500 -$600 every time we shopped there ,but no more !
We started shopping at woolworths now !!
Ever since we started shopping at woolworths our food bill has dropped dramatically, at least $150- $200 cheaper and we bought the same kind of products!!
PAK AND SAVE PROMISE OF CHEAPEST GROCERIES IS A TOTAL LIE !!

The company is doing well at providing a variety of food from various countries and supporting local businesses. I would like to see them do better and the quality and freshness of their food for example I bought 4 onions yesterday 29 Aug 26 2 if them were rotten inside. The dragon fruit were near on expiring where they were very sticky and soft. The prices have increased for example a pkt of mince and cheese pies x8 went from $7 to $14. So I feel like we are not getting the quality of freshness for the dollars we pay. That would get 5 stars otherwise

Regular visitor to Pak'nSave Riccarton store, Unfortunately, every time we feel the level of service we received from check out fell far short of acceptable standards, lack of respect; sometimes rude and discourteous.

I love the friendly helpful service. However, being a New Zealander- I do not appreciate being referred to as Mam. I understand that it is polite in America to refer to a customer as Sir, or Mam-but it annoys me.
Also, as a 59 year old woman-i do not expect a younger person to call me dear, it really grates on me and I find it patronizing.

Really unhappy with being FORCED to sign up to the new Club+ thing. I wish to shop online as before - without this thing at all. Have no interest in it. Not given a choice, as you are with say Woolworths one, we were all just told and exisiting login rejected and made to join. Staff said oh just don't use it. Well no, not good enough, I do not want to be signed up to it either.

It’s always a good company for shopping there goods and stocks are always fresh and plus there customer service it’s been really good people..in some other ways they answer questions when I looked for something they told me the correct shelf I will find a item that I looking for ..thanks for there good services and there care for the customers

Paknsave is the ultimate shopping place. Most Woolworths outlets are way more expensive than paknsave. We are very appreciative to have paknsave, Foodstuffs helping New Zealanders. People support nz companies. I see lots of moaning people with bad reviews. Idiot's should think themselves lucky to have kiwi company or you be paying double the price at Woolworths, Australia owned. 😎👍.

The staff at checkout are invariably very friendly, as are most of the rest of the staff. However, ask one of the staff where something is and 50% f the time they don't know. Signs are inaccurate, shelves are often not stocked, and then there is the fruit and vegetable section. Today it was rotting plums, and cobs of corn that would, maybe, be okay for pig food. Unnecessary Plastic wraps on things. No wonder people buy their fruit and vegetables elsewhere. Frozen foods are frequently icy, not surprising given the trolleys sit unattended. Nothing like a monopoly to provide a poor experience; though that need not be the case, it is here. Greed over customers. Two stars because the checkout staff are great.

On Facebook you are advertising Gift card to shop for your Birthday, so I thought nothing ventured nothing gained , we dont have a pak n save in my home town .I did everything right answered for questions put my address in and the web kept declining my address, over and over again, apparently the the house i live in doesn't exist , if only that was so , I could stop paying my rent , I live at 33a the property was subdivided in the last century, 1970s to be exact your system needs upgrading

Be WARNED... I purchased a Hot Chicken last week, when I opened it up it was COVERED in FLY EGGS. Do not buy Hot Chickens from Silverdale Pak & Save. No one apologised, just gave me a refund and said we'd look into it.

The excellent values of staff at Porirua Pak n Save.Raj, who kindly and thoughtfully guided me to produce he had brought into the fruit area, Davontae who thoughtfully used his initiative volunteered to go and search out the back for a frozen product, Rosemary who was thoughtfully observant at checkout and corrected a mistake so I got the extra cheap special price, and Neeleshni at information who was patient, thoughtful and helpful. Awesome consistent values of caring, thoughtfulness, patience, helpfulness and all with a happy and positive attitude. Thank you for the joy of shopping Porirua Pak Save 😊💖🎶

The low prices are a big draw. I seldom go to Woolworths/Countdown any more because of this, however, some of the staff are rude, arrogant and seem to resent any interaction with customers! They need to improve their customer staff service!

Silverdale branch is great, my favourite supermarket in Auckland, usually has short queues, plenty of check out operators, good range of food items esp in the health food department. Staff are friendly. Been going there for 10 years.
