Oxford Tube Arvostelua 

I've taken two Oxford Tubes today, and both carried cretins who stunk the coach out with their farts. Great if you enjoy inhaling others' flatulence. Not so great if you value basic decorum from other humans.

I have the App on my phone. I had one ticket left from 12 and then bought 12 more tickets . On entering the bus and activating the ticket . The top of the phone said ' here is ticket' but no ticket appeared even after a few minutes . I pressed the cross and then did the activate your ticket again . This time the ticket appeared. When I looked it had taken two tickets ! On my return on the bus I explained I did not want to pay again. The driver said it was my fault as , I had not used wi fi??? I had not updated my phone ?- not true. I had not updated the Tube app ? never been asked to update it. He insisted I used another ticket . So I activated another ticket . The same thing happened, 'Here is you ticket ' but no ticket .He told me to cancel and try again . I refused as by then it had taken another ticket. He insisted it was my fault again . I insisted on getting on the bus . He gave in. So it could have been taken 4 tickets , as it was it was 3 tickets to have two journeys. Hopeless App . I am reluctant to reinstall the App as someone did and lost all their tickets .I am waiting to hear what the powers that be say .I won't hold my breath!

Useless service. Never on time, cancelled buses, suddenly they have to go to depo all the time, one bus every 2 hours. If it takes 15 min by car from where I live to Oxford, why does it have to take me in average 2 or more hours by bus? Useless service. Negative 5 stars

The Oxford Tube is so good, it doesn’t even feel real. It’s convenient, affordable, and the drivers are all so lovely. I don’t know what all the negative reviews are on about. My experience was 10/10.

I have been travelling on the oxford tube for a while, and lately I have noticed that it is now possible to view how the journey was on the app. What I have noticed on some occaisions the screen on the coach does not display any thing, some of the seatbelts do not buckle, and the windows up stairs at the front are so dirty. It seem like these coaches are refurbished and wondering whether the company will be issuing new electric oxford tube coaches just like the buses.

The driver of one of the buses departing Victoria station, London at 19.10 on 23/4/2025 (the first departing bus) were unbelievably rude and unkind. I would recommend not being self-centered. Being condenscending and rude to the customers is the easiest way to lose trust and make the journey unpleasant. I have traveled tens of times and will not go with Oxford tube again. Would also be great if Oxford Tube is not late every single journey departing from London at around 1800-1900. They are always late by at least half an hour. Trains are a bit more expensive but much, much more polite and pleasant.

I always use Oxford Tube when I travel to London. The service is excellent. Always on time. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Coaches are clean.

Hi I travel Oxford tube regularly from Victoria when I come home from football and it was so nice to have a pleasant driver tonight that I had to get the bus number and that was 50424 travelling from Victoria to Oxford 8pm Sunday night ! So friendly and a pleasant employee to your company ! I have come across some rude drivers that let me stay in the middle of nowhere for two hours in the freezing cold ! 10/10 for this driver and a great example for your company xx

Yesterday was typical of my experience: digital display at Brookes bus stop says (contrary to online) that the next coach is in 18 mins time. OK, plenty of time for a quick coffee at Brookes which took just 10 minutes. As I got back to bus stop 8 minutes before the supposed arrival time, the display was still saying 18 mins to next coach. And 2 minutes later, with '18' still on the board, the coach arrived. So I caught it by sheer luck, by thankfully not relying on the board. Bad info is worse than useless... much better to just say 'info unavailable' rather than random rubbish.

On the bus my digital ticket was not displaying on my phone. Just an Oxford Tube app error message with nonsense about my phone time zone being wrong. Driver says 'oh yes, it does that, just restart your phone'. That fixed it. 'I think that's a bug in your app?' 'No it's just that that's how it works, it's fine if you know how!' (he was serious!).

Rarely one to leave a bad review but felt I had to for this. Have semi-regularly been using the Oxford tube for around a year now.
Up til around Christmas this was without issue, but in recent months there have been multiple tubes scheduled that were badly delayed or simply didn't turn up so I (and many other people) ended up waiting 30+ minutes, with no follow-up explanation from staff or on the Oxford Tube website.

Today I got to a coach and it was on time (for a change) only for the driver to shake his head and drive away as I got there. Hence this review!

Luckily I soon won't be having to use the Oxford Tube but still a shame it has gone downhill so badly.

The coaches themselves are comfy, it's cheaper than the train and the drivers are (usually) friendly, HOWEVER you should avoid using this 'service' if you value punctuality, respect and common decency.

Folk might be familiar with this but I wasn't. Let's hold the bus for 10 minutes at Hillingdon because we are early. Here's some news for the folk who run the service - it's a lottery going into and out of London. Sometimes you are quick mostly you are slow. This policy means you can never be quick, only slow, at best OT's definition of "on time". Whatever that means. Ah, the timetable. A waste of time going in and out of London by road. Decent GPS to tell you when the next bus is due tied to Waze with an ETA for your destination would be more effective.

Comfortable buses, friendly, helpful staff, but their app is a disaster. It does not work properly on a non-UK phone and does not accept a non-UK address. Their support team said it is intended for UK customers! Beware if you're an international traveller!

Very poor experience, app didnt work so we were not allowed to board. Had to pay on spot for next bus. Driver rude and didnt help.

What a disaster this morning. App has updated - lost all my tickets and has forgotten my password. Tried to reset the password - won’t do it.

Timetable is fiction. Two scheduled buses did not turn up and the planner / tracker does not work in the app.

I used my mobile to buy an Oxford Tube ticket for the first time. I didn’t notice the warning about only ‘activating’ your ticket 15 minutes before travelling - why would I? It doesn’t happen when you buy train tickets. I just pressed on the ticket I wanted and paid. When I got on the bus for the return trip I was told my ticket had ‘expired’ and I had to pay for another one. How can they simply cancel a ticket you’ve paid for? Is this even legal?

Well, having read the two bad reviews , all i can say is that i preferred the old way of printing the ticket (i don't like, or trust the new app)! And that i have always had a pleasant ride on this route.

Intended to attend a family lunch in Oxford today. Planned to take the Oxford Tube bus at the Kensington Hilton ((Holland Park) because it was the closest stop to our hotel in Hammersmith. Waited from 10.15 to 11 30 and three Oxford Tube buses went by without stopping with signs in front claiming the bus was full. At 11.30, cancelled out of family lunch in Oxford Checked Oxford Tube bus website while waiting and no mention of any service issues. My first and last time using Oxford Tube - very unreliable (or non-existent) service. Wouldn't recommend. The only saving is that I did not buy a return ticket in advance so didn't get stiffed by Stagecoach

Caught bus from Oxford to London. Was 25 degrees outside. Aircon on bus wasn't working. I have been in saunas that weren't as hot as this bus trip. It's dangerous for the elderly so I don't understand why they would let this bus run unless it was working properly.

It doesn’t deserve even one start…I never complain but today I had enough with this bus company…I go to university from Oxford in London every day I can pay with my card, sometimes in the morning their card machine is not working but after 10 attempts will work, today that wasn’t the case so I had money on my bank and shown to the driver also, I wasn’t able to pay with my card due to paying to much contactless the other day and is not any option to insert your card in, I try to buy the ticket only with the driver, I pay for it, took the money, but I m not able to view or download my ticket…there are no shops around that can do cash back or any cash point to be able to take money out…so I was left with no options and due to this factor I been missing so manny buses( from 6:30am until 9:30) until I had gone all the way to city centre to take money out from cash point( Lloyds bank)…so now due to this matter I been missing my classes and who knows when I will arrive at university with the traffic in London…I suppose to be at my university at 9:30…also I get so sick because of air conditioner…when is raining and is cold they are always open and feels like a freezer …everyone in the bus will stay with jackets due to the cold…I forgot to mention that the first driver in the morning was so rude and trying to insinuate that I do not have money on my card and because of the embarrassment that he put me through in front of everyone I was forced to show him my balance so that he can see I m not lieing and I do have more then enough money to pay for my bus or what I need…also after paying with cash in the bus and have another money that has been taken from my account with the app the driver wasn’t even able to give me my change so he gave me a voucher like it wasn’t enough I had another money missing with this company and is not that I can use the ticket either

You can find yourself as I am now, unable to board a bus as they all pass by full. Just a 30 minute wait between busses, in the middle of the night, hoping the next will have space. I wonder what time I will get home
