Outdoor Revolution Arvostelua 

We have a full Outdoor Revolution set up now, thanks to the help and extensive knowledge provided by Benn.

The best camping gear we have ever bought and refuse to use any other brand moving forward.

Exceptional stuff, from tent, wardrobe, blow up sofas, camping kitchen, storage boxes, beds, lighting and everything in between

Horrendous instructions re inflation, no mention of a quarter turn of the inflation valve to get the air in spent hours trying to sort it out. Lucky a person on the site had the same and informed us what to do

I was interested in the Outdoor Revolution Sportlite Air 320 EX awning which claimed to be suitable for caravans and motorhomes. Many awnings that do both need adjusting because caravan and motorhome awning rails work differently.

Prior to buying the awning from an online camping shop, I contacted Blue Diamond (who manufacture the Outdoor Revolution brand) to check it would work with a Fiamma awning rail (which is a windout awning wound in and just the keder strip used) without any alterations. I was told "no alterations needed".

Unfortunately, this wasn't the case. There was an 8cm gap between the inflatable awning poles and the motorhome and the awning would collapse in the slightest wind.

When I contacted the online seller about this I was told I might need to buy both support pads and support poles - which to me count as alterations!

And when I went back to Blue Diamond about this, they said my initial email was "misleading". I was shocked. What kind of customer service is this? Misleading suggests I *purposefully* asked a question in a way as to get an incorrect answer. Which is nonsensical. Someone needs customer services training.

I returned the awning to the online seller for a full refund, but only after an exchange of 26 emails and 2 phone calls over a 12-day period with the online seller who eventually accepted a return without support from Blue Diamond.

I was able to return because I bought the 2024 model and the one I'd received had a production date of June 2022, plus had some differing design features that didn't match the website description/images.

(I've since bought a poled awning from another manufacturer that's specifically designed to work with motorhomes, and which held up in a freak coastal thunderstorm at 4am!)

We have Evora 390 Caravan awning. Whilst on holiday this year, our air awning developed an air leak (pin hole puncture in one of the welded seam).
We looked around the area and contacted the closet OUTDOOR REVOLUTION agent (Sarah from Somerset Camping & Leisure, Wellington). After explaining the situation to Sarah, Sarah took charge and contacted Outdoor Revolution. 15 minutes later, Outdoor Revolution (via Sarah) informed me that the awning inflation system was under warranty and Outdoor Revolutions have arranged for overnight delivery of the replacement inflation system to Somerset Camping & Leisure. this was an excellent / brilliant response by their customer services.
The replacement inflatable system arrived and was installed within minutes with minimum effort.
We would not hesitate in recommending Outdoor Revolutions for their Product and for their after sales service in the future.

Great customer service. Had an issue with an air awning, manufacturing fault. Response was very quick, and in no time at all, courier was sent to collect it and a replacement delivered. All at the company's expense. Prompt and speedy communication, very friendly and understanding. I was kept up to date throughout.

I have bought the Ozone xtr 6.0 Safari last Year. It is a great Tent. Now i am looking for the Front Porch and the Side Wing but i cant contact the support by email. Please tell me when you get it back in Stock. Thanks

Fantastic customer service! I bought a Capri picnic table which unfortunately had a crack in it. On contacting Outdoor Revolution I mentioned that we had wanted to use it on our holiday in 5 days time. Chelsie sorted it all out so quickly we had a replacement table and the cracked one collected within 2 days and now we're on our way to our camping holiday in Scotland. So grateful and impressed.

Bought a Kalahari PC tent for a lot of money a few years back. We are going to Spain this year and wanted to purchase a lounge liner to help with temps.....no longer made anymore! really frustrating that support is no longer given to even a recent model. Disappointed.

We brought a tent a 2 of years ago and had no issues. However last year it was the 3rd time we have used it and it rained. It was the Coronation weekend. I send the tent had puddles everywhere. There was no one in the tent as we had put it up the night before to use as a shelter.
Then summer 2023 we went camping and it rained again. We were woken at 2am with our tent flooded. We had to take shelter in our car! After being pushed from pillar to post, re waterproofing it it still leaks. We have photographic evidence and videos but outdoor revolution does not care. They said it was because the tent can not stand as much rain it is rated 3000. Well today we went to a huge camping shop in Horsham and spoke in length about our tent and the rating he said no way should our tent ever leak as much as it did! There must be something wrong. We have only used the tent 4 times. I would never ever buy from this brand again and will never recommend them. We have been left with a £1000 tent which we cannot use!!!!!

We had a fault with our drive away awning and I emailed and spoke to Chris. He was absolutely fantastic in getting everything sorted and replaced, his communication was fast and knowledgeable. Amazing customer service. Will absolutely buy from your company again!

Wow! What amazing service! I’d managed to mislay the tube and the valves, rendering putting up the tent somewhat tricky! Chris immediately helped me and is sending me a full pump! Amazing customer service and with a friendly (virtual) smile!!

Two Stars for the look but in practical terms this sofa is a let down. If you are watching your caravan payload, and thinking inflatable sofa won’t make any difference, you will be suprised to know it weights in at 5kgs! Nearly the weight of a gas bottle and don’t forget you need a pump! It’s pretty bulky, no matter how it’s folded, it will take up the ground area of a bed locker, roll it any smaller will seriously damage the sofa with the inflation valves.
When two people use the sofa, caution has to be used, as one person sits, the air pressure Increases lifting the other person up, it like being on a roller coaster,
Do not place it against the caravan to stop it moving back, the valve at the back has the Potential to scratch or dint the caravan.
A big design fault is the rear back rest, the opening to the rear for the bladder is far to large, when weight is applied to the back rest, the extra pressure causes the bladder to pop through the opening, and ruptures the bladder, causing a big bleb that cannot be repaired, this spoils the look. A new bladder is about £45 which does not evaluate to the purchase price of £125 plus
Of course you get a full year warranty, but how many times would you really use it in that first year.
Customer service polite, but heard it all before, no discretion, or admit design fault.
Probably a great selling item at the moment but the bubble will burst!

I emailed to cheekily ask for advice choosing an awning for Little Red, my SWB Hiace camper-conversion - Chris was incredible for answering my newbie questions (and a whole load of others I’d not even thought about), helping us think around what we want and need, pointing out the pros and cons of the different options, and finally suggesting which products might best meet my needs.

Contacted you guys on the 25th March regarding awning pole replacements as we damaged one of ours. Contacted by email the same day with part number, price and delivery charge.
