Avoid this company at all costs. Never call back, take days to respond to emails. Do not have a complaints department. The managers are just as incompetent as the staff. Caused me so much stress over the last few months and have left me no option other than to go to the ombudsman.

Absolutely appalling service! They take direct debits bigger than the amounts to be paid, promise to refund within 3-5 working days and never refund. When you email them, they do not respond. When you call, they say someone will call back. Absolutely shocking - avoid at all costs. Liars, cheaters and taking advantage of vulnerable adults (we are a care home for the elderly).

I have been with One Energy for a while, and from start to finish, the service has been faultless.

One Energy has assisted us greatly in the management of our energy. They have given us some extremely valuable tips to reduce usage, which has brought down the price drastically. You are assigned a personal account manager who is your direct point of contact if you have any issues or questions. The switch was very easy and they took care of the whole process. I just wanted to point out that on a few occasions there was no one available upon ringing. This was very rare and if this was the case, someone would ring back within the next hour. Overall, they are a very reliable company who I can trust with our business energy.

Just wanted to say thankyou to the team at One Energy. We moved into an empty unit and One Energy were the current providers. We spent months converting the unit for our business and contacted One Energy to do a change of tenant into our name and give our readings. We were given a bill for £7k!!! out of contract …. Spoke to Ellan and Jonathon who backdated the out of contracted rates to much more reasonable thus reducing the bill to £3k and I’ve also been placed on a decent tariff compared to what I was offered when I went on a comparison page. Thanks again.

I’ve spent so long to find an energy company that puts their customers first and isn’t blinded by the commercial gain. I must have been with four or five suppliers over the past twelve years and have noticed a common trend; they start promising then within six months your bills are increased without any type of notification. I am now coming up to my third year with one energy and have not encountered any serious price spikes, it has risen slightly but that is completely understandable with the current times. I would be confident to recommend their service to any business who is having problems with their current supplier.

Increased our rates by 128% WITHOUT notification. took 10 months to let us know, no personal contact, Beware to read the T&C's closely. Miss your exit termination window and they lock you in for a further two years. Cannot see how they'll ever save you money, they've certainly cost us thousands of pounds more. Interestingly I note that the company has vanished from Companies House listings, puzzling.
Unbelievable!, I finally get a response 19 months later telling nothing but drivel !. Many people may have seen an increase but I bet they weren’t told 10 months after you applied it. Our increase was applied in 2021 before the spike without any notice which breached our t&c’s in our contract, charged hidden commissions, overcharged our business which is why we’re still going through with an investigation. Tried to send a letter which was created the same day in an effort to substantiate a letter which they claimed to have sent 12 months earlier. (A letter which certainly was never received and one which we believe to be fraudulent).

We signed up with One Energy January 2022 after shopping around for quite some time. All we encountered was high energy prices and although we are on high prices with One Energy, their customer service provides a level of comfort. On 2 occasions we have been unable to pay our bills in full and One Energy have been extremely understanding, not added late payment fees etc. I am able to speak to my account manager days, evenings and weekends, there are no long hold times and so on. Times are tough at present however I feel our business is in safe hands with One Energy.

Delighted to have discovered One Energy! They have cut my energy costs by 15% across multiple sites which is absolutely amazing especially during the current climate. The staff are super friendly, I have never felt so comfortable and safe with an energy company. Can’t recommend enough.

I have read some of the reviews and yes they were easy to join and did initially give competitive rates. However, their rates soon become unbelievable and it would be a very poor decision if you do join them. Also, trying to leave is nearly impossible, their terms and conditions are laughable. When your initial contract comes to an end they do not give you notice of this or quote you new figures they keep quiet so that you miss the only window of opportunity to leave (between 90 and 120 days before the end of the contract) and then you are tied in for another 24 months. If you should manage to meet the terms and conditions and give the correct notice, you then find that the electric supplier they use won’t let you go, why? Because they have mistakenly signed you up for a new contract, you are then told it’s all sorted but it is still problematic. We are due to leave in 10 days and our new very helpful and competitive rate supplier is still be blocked from taking in our account. Cannot wait for the 30th of this month

One energy what a joke be careful what your signing up for. It's almost impossible to leave. If you go over the time of your contract your automatically signed up for another 24 months. Also £6 a day standing charge

Great service! These guys took the stress out of forever speaking to overseas call centres away from me, was sick to death of being on hold for 20/30 mins. Friendly staff who not only saved my school lots of money but also made my life easier. Would highly recommend to anyone who may be experiencing the same problems with these so called “Big 6” Energy companies A+++

I have found One Energy to be simple and value for money. They seem completely ahead of their market and to genuinely value their customers. Any concerns I have had, they have alleviated.

After searching for a new energy provider, I was referred to One Energy who provided me with a very competitive quotation for my gas and electric that I could not pass on. The process was very straight forward and professional. I would highly recommend.

I would like to express my gratitude to One Energy for their understanding through this current difficult time. I run a public house which is my livelihood and this year has been tough. The support that One Energy Has offered has been superb. No threatening harassing letters, late payment fees etc. They were even able to reduce my unit rate slightly and lower my Monthly payments considerably to account for minimal usage. They are always polite over the phone, they respond to emails promptly even at evenings and weekends. Utilities have been one less thing to worry about. Just a simple “pay what you can when you can” approach. Thank you again
