I have today agreed a 3 year contract with Valda Energy. The customer service I received from Duncan Large was excellent. He was very patience and returned calls at times agreed due to my working in a very busy office. Duncan explained the charges in a clear tone and concise manner.

I switched to a new tariff with Valda energy at the beginning of the year but they kept charging me the old higher rate on an estimated basis. It took countless emails and telephone calls to get the invoices corrected to actual meter reads and at agreed tariff.
On my latest invoice i was shocked to see Valda have charged a £50 (PLUS VAT) late payment charge even though my account is in credit from the previous invoice.
I tried to explain this to Valda customer service but they did not want to listen . Mr Carl ton Singh was far from helpful, if anyone from Valda energy reads this message then please listen to the recording. On the 9th April i requested that a case be raised and i was advised that a an email will be sent, Guess what nothing has been received.
I have spent countless hours chasing these guys. But i will not give up and will filling a complaint via the energy ombudsman.

Terrible service, 45 min per phone call on average. Charge way more than anyone else. All phone calls are recorder not for training and security purposes but because if you say something its a binding agreement according to Valda. Do not use them because if you do when it comes to changing it will take you weeks and months. This review wont stay on long as you can also pay trust pilot as as company to remove negative reviews.

I had an issue paying my latest invoice…
I had an issue paying my latest invoice (completely my own mistake – I entered the invoice number instead of the account number).
I called customer support and spoke to Mechaya, who was very helpful and quickly resolved the issue by getting the payment credited to my account. Great customer service.
