Overnight courier. A week later still waiting ?????
Do not expect good service. I would not use them

They said the package was delivered. It wasn't. I contacted them and asked where it was, and they told me to allow 48 hours for a rural package. My address is not rural. The tracking is completely broken. Please do not use their services. NZPost is far superior.

A parcel for me was lodged with NZ Couriers almost 2 weeks ago. I was away when they first tried to deliver so I sent them detailed instructions to assist re delivery. I am still waiting for the parcel.

Two bad experiences leave me wondering why these clowns are still in business. The first was an expensive to ship, low value parcel to South Africa where the moment it left the country, they claimed they couldn’t track it. It turned up eventually at a local post shop in Capetown with a demand to the recipient for more money to deliver it. A written complaint hasn’t even resulted in an acknowledgment or reply. Today I received a parcel from a local delivery agent. Problem is, the parcel wasn’t addressed to me either by name or address. In short, the postie couldn’t read. Are eyesight tests not mandatory for Nz post employees these days? They also don’t answer their complaint lines when you ring. Utter clown show funded by taxpayer dollars no doubt.

If you need a signiture on a parcel, is common sense to call the recipient , or call the interfon, or ring the door bell and ask for signiture, instead of living a note in the mailbox without even trying to deliver. I am always present at the address but no courier is ever attempting to make the delivery. Very poor service!!

NZ Couriers are 'last mile' contractors for FedEx, who are also terrible. The local couriers are good, but the management are quick to wash their hands of any damaged equipment and pass the blame to FedEx.

I will however give them points for communications. They are responsive.

Their terms and conditions conveniently cover themselves, and are very one-sided. If you are claiming compensation for damages, they won't admit to fault, but on damaged packaging, they'll stick a 'CONCEALED DAMAGE' sticker on it, and deliver it regardless.

Some of the excuses we have received are going to end up with my company suffering a loss of a few thousand dollars, which NZCs branch management don't care about. I'm sure if they lost a few grand, they'd be p*ssed about it too.

Do NOT send anything of value via these guys. No care, and no responsibility is an easy way to describe their attitude towards commercial customers.

Spoke to the wonderful CSR's and this is the best service. Fast, efficient and friendly. I messed up twice and Kim sorted me out. Thank you for your help. Brilliant.

Terrible service.
They lied about attempting to deliver my parcel several times, we were at home 3/4 attempts.
Driver never rang our apartment.
If I'm buying and paying for a delivery service I'm not going to Penrose to pick it up for them.
Called 4 times, but no solution was given.
I'm not buying anything online if this company is doing the delivery. How it comes that they don't have any other location near the city.
Nz post is 100% better.

An overnight parcel of medication was sent on Friday for an expected Monday delivery, signature only. At 7:20am Mon the driver didn't bother to ring the doorbell on the fence, 2 cars in the driveway and everyone home, instead just leaving an undeliverable note. Yes we have a dog, but that's what the doorbell on the fence is for.

Zero communication, urgent parcel sent from Tauranga. After many phone calls am told - one week later, that it’s sitting there in their depot in Hamilton and told it would not be delivered to me, a business address, in Cambridge, until the following week. I decided to pick it up from their depot from an unapologetic, uninterested individual. Why do these people have jobs?

Worst courier company I've ever needed to use.

Of the many things I've had happen - parcel thrown into a bush because they couldn't be bothered opening the gate.
Many, many, many deliveries to the wrong address.
Couriers frequently don't knock on the door just stuff the 'you missed a delivery' note in. I've actually caught them doing that and suspect it happened again today. I was home, by the door.

Had a parcel delivered by my local courier this morning. Very friendly and helpful driver, and my large parcel was delivered in record time from the South Island to Whanganui.

was wondering where a very important package was. didn't get contacted, didn't get a card. but they had made several attempts to deliver and failed. no attempt to resolve the problem. left me in the dark for medication i needed urgently. awful service, just unbelievably bad.

Wellington City NZ Couriers horrendous costumer service including a person that delivers in the City. They are dumb and stupid not reading instructions or they just don't deliver parcels hopping to keep them as lost or staff sale. They don't notify costumer when they don't deliver in time even after nearly a month.
Had to go and pick it up. I have security cameras and I work from home and yet they said no access where they actually never attempted. Extremely disappointing as I pay for a delivery service . There are instructions at the apartment building too .

It would have been faster to deliver via horse! On day 8 waiting for a delivery from one Akld suburb to another It has already been out for delivery but the driver was apparently too busy to deliver so took the parcel back to the depot. They have now started the process all over again and it has been rescanned at depot and is back in transit to another courier!! Will never use this firm again.

Tried to track a package but website moves like a one legged turtle

5 minutes just to load tracking page, entered number, ten minutes later still not loading tracking

If this is the quality of their website im worried about how they do with packages

Absolutely terrible. Had NZC deliver my parcel to a collection point approx 10:44am 06/01/25
Received notification at 13:33pm that collection point had refused parcel. I asked for parcel to be delivered to my home instead less than 1km away. Told parcel already at Penrose depot. No contact when it was rejected only hours later. No email, tracking info not up to date. Organised redelivery for next day to my home address. Asked if driver can call or txt me so I can meet courier downstairs as I have no intercom and need to know exact ETA. Told not NZC policy but they will try. Next day waited all day only to received notice delivery attempted again but unable as no one home. I was working from home and had no missed calls or txts. Staff advised driver called but now parcel back in Penrose depot. I live in city and do not drive. Penrose depot so far out of my way and I can only pickup on Saturday due to work. Staff advised redelivery can be attempted but unless driver was to txt or call there was no point; I can’t sit outside waiting all day. I asked how long my parcel would be held for as it had since been 6 days. I was advised 5 days which had already been exceeded so parcel would be returned to sender. I asked why I had not been offered the option of a collection point to pick up near my home? I also asked why the call centre staff had not called me to advise ETA or driver arrived, given they knew I had no intercom. I was then told they could attempt to redelivery instead of return to sender but if it failed again that would be it. Not much point when they refuse to communicate an ETA. Absolutely terrible service, snarky petty staff and seemingly deliberate withholding of helpful information and denial of standard services…parcel on way back to NSW and vendor has refunded me but I’m without my product I ordered because NZC are incompetent and actively inept to the point of deliberately pissing off their customers.

Ten days and still waiting. Overnight delivery. I would have thought 3 or 4 days would be reasonable for rural delivery. Every parcel delivered to me and my neighbours by them over the last 20 years has gone astray. The problem lies in their address database. Myself and others have advised them of the problem many times over the years but we have been ignored. Other courier companies have fixed the problem but not these clowns. Avoid using them. The lying bastards don't deserve to be in business.

We ordered a parcel at the start of December, it was handed onto nz couriers by DHL and from there is has gone MIA. We have been emailing and calling, both branches we talked to said it was the others problem. They can't get ahold of their driver to figure out where my package is and are barely lifting a finger to try fix the issue. Our original delivery date was the 19th December 24. We are now 07th Jan 2025!
