Avoid at all costs!

Nokia used to be reputable but clearly HMD is a scam.

Firstly, buying a phone from a UK website, you expect it to be coming from UK. It doesn't.

No expected date.

Delay on email confirmation.

Most awfully, the camera was DIABOLICAL . To the point, I wondered if it was a fake Nokia.

Sent back. You have to print your own label - which cost me £27 due to needing ink (don't use printer for anything).

Returned to them four days ago. Paid on klarna, so need refund to be actioned. Emailed twice and had no reply.

This company is a sham. Avoid at all costs.

UPDATE: Upgraded to 2 stars as refund was processed by day seven of it being returned to them. But would never choose to deal with this company again. Not a good experience - and £30 out of pocket for postage and packaging. Boo.

Pessima esperienza col 6.2. sempre avuto problemi con il GPS che non è molto preciso ed aggiorna la posizione lentamente. Dopo un po' di anni ha smesso di aggiornarsi. La ricezione del 4G non è molto buona.

Sono stata una cliente di vecchia data perché li ritengo fra i migliori nel mercato, i cellulari cadono a terra e si ricompongono come se niente fosse perché sono indistruttibili, comodi, pratici e poco ingombranti. Ho rifiutato la connessione internet per scelta personale

Da die Ware persönlich übergeben werden muss, habe ich bei der Bestellung meine Firma angegeben. Leider druckt Nokia den Namenszusatz auf der Lieferung nicht an. Die Ware geht nun zurück ins Werk. Der Support unterstellt mir es wäre mein Fehler. Mehr als sämtliche Namen (Firmenname, meinen Namen) kann ich nicht angeben. Dann kaufe ich eben bei einem anderen Anbieter ein, es wird nie wieder ein Produkt von Nokia gekauft.

Ho sempre avuto telefoni Nokia ... fin dai tempi del 3310 e conosciuti ancora prima visto che ho lavorato nella telefonia mobile...Per me è sempre stato un marchio ed una qualità . In tutto questo tempo non ho mai avuto bisogno di una assistenza... fino a settembre 2023 quando il mio Nokia X20 , acquistato circa 1 anno prima e che fin a quel momento aveva sempre funzionato perfettamente , probabilmente a seguito di un aggiornamento di qualche app o sistema , non ha cominciato ad avere problemi di navigazione GPS . Utilizzo 3 app diverse di navigazione e tutte e 3 presentavano lo stesso problema . Dopo le prime verifiche di routine , decido di chiedere aiuto al supporto Nokia Mobile Care che con sollecitudine e cortesia , sempre via mail , mi ha seguito e suggerito una serie di operazioni da fare per provare ad ovviare al problema . Non avendo risultati mi suggeriscono di fare un backup dei dati e ripristinare il telefono ai dati di fabbrica . Logicamente tutto questo con la convinzione che il problema fosse dovuto ad un bug dovuto a qualche app . Prima di fare il ripristino , decido di prendermi un Nokia G42 5G come muletto di scorta , in offerta su Amazon . Così fatto attivo il G42 con i dati dell'X20 e dopo aver avuto conferma che tutto funzionasse correttamente son passato al ripristino dell'X20 , sempre supportato da N.M.Care . Nel frattempo con il G42 ho continuato a fare prove di navigazione con tutte e 3 le app implicate e sempre ha funzionato e ancora continua a funzionare correttamente . X20 invece anche dopo reset di fabbrica ha continuato a presentare il problema .... A questo punto si pensa che il problema sia nel telefono e visto che è ancora in garanzia , l'assistenza mi invita ad inviarlo al centro europeo Nokia , in Romania . Ricevo la documentazione necessaria e in un giorno , con spedizione express a carico nokia il telefono era già a destinazione . Dopo qualche giorno però , mi arriva una mail dal centro riparazioni dove mi comunicano che il telefono è in spedizione di ritorno , non riparato in quanto non riconosciuto guasto in garanzia .... senza altra motivazione specifica . Seccato scrivo a Nokia Mobile Care allegando la mail ricevuta . La risposta è : non si preoccupi quando riceverà il telefono all'interno ci sarà allegata la scheda di riparazione con la specifica del rifiuto ... a disposizione . Nella confezione con il telefono non riparato trovo una semplice bolla di accompagnamento . Visto che il telefono , ancora in garanzia ,era stato venduto e spedito da Amazon mi rivolgo al servizio clienti e dopo una accurata spiegazione e documentazione dei fatti , visto che l'apparecchio non era più in vendita al prezzo che l'avevo acquistato mi fanno un rimborso dell'intera spesa sostenuta a suo tempo . Visto che ho recuperato quanto speso , decido , attratto da un'offerta nello store ufficiale Nokia , di prendere un sostituto all'X20 optando , viste le caratteristiche , il prezzo e i 3 anni di garanzia della casa per il Nokia X30 . Una volta attivato e configurato passo alla prova del nove con la navigazione e rimango a dir poco allibito non appena riappare il blocco del GPS nello stesso identico modo dell'X20 .... Dopo una cinquantina di km di prove ho fatto immediatamente il reso a Nokia , spiegando il tutto e chiedendo una spiegazione .....Ad oggi nessuna risposta . Le mie conclusioni : anno di uscita Nokia X20-Nokia X30 pochi mesi di differenza 2021-2022 - S.O. Android 13 stesso hardware GPS. Anno di uscita Nokia G42 5G 06-2023 , Android 13 aggiornato a 14 scheda GPS aggiornata... Il difetto secondo me si è presentato dalla data settembre 2023 da una combinazione hardware GPS e un aggiornamento intervenuto , non so da quale app e si è ripetuto sul modello X30 ... Mentre sul G42 probabilmente con un nuovo hardware o un efficace aggiornamento ha risolto il problema . Una risposta però Nokia non me l'ha ancora data ... Forse la fine dl mio mito ..!!..

Purchased a simple Nokia 108 for an older person thinking Nokia was still a guarantee for quality, as all other basic phones are of very poor quality. But the phone has such a bad speaker that it is just about impossible to hear the other person on the phone, even for me. An older person simply hears nothing on this phone.

When someone calls me I cannot recognise the voice of that person, and I can only hear what they say in a quiet interior place. Out on the street it is impossible to have a conversation as the call volume is so low it requires absolute silence and concentration.

This model is only good for scrap, why is it still being sold? How can they bring on the market a phone that can't be used for its basic purpose? And why are there zero quality phones for the elderly?

I bought G60 5g,doed after 2 months. Was sent to repair, motherboard was changed on the same phone. After 4 months from the repair same thing happened,again on repair. Do not waste your money...Nokia is far way down....not the one that used to be. AVOID

4 maanden geleden een G22 gekocht, deze is nu 2x retour geweest ter reparatie, echter de klachten blijven en er komen klachten bij. Als antwoord van customercare; stuur maar weer op voor reparatie. Ik heb hier geen vertrouwen meer in, en wil een nieuwe. Echter kom je dan in een loop van gescripte antwoordmails die allemaal het zelfde zegge, stuur maar weer op. Om gek van te worden. Wat een slechte klachtafhandeling

Dans un premier temps, je soit avouer que je suis agréablement surpris par la qualité du Nokia XR21 que j'ai acheté sur le site Nokia et reçu il y'a 7 jours.
Par contre, le lendemain de mon achat, le prix du téléphone a chuté de 70€ sur le site (!) et malgré plusieurs échange, aucune possibilité de leur part de remboursement de la différence ou de bon d'achat, aucun geste commercial. La seule solution qu'on me propose: retourner mon téléphone et l'acheter a nouveau. Merci le bilan carbone et merci les 20 jours sans téléphone... D'autant plus que faire un bon d'achat leur aurait permis de vendre un second appareil (précisé dans nos échanges) et que ça revenais au même pour eux comme pour mois. Bref en tant que commerçant je ne peux pas comprendre cette logique absurde.

I bought a Nokia Xr20 off Amazon that was advertised as unlocked, but it isn't. It has no wipe cache or reset options in fastboot.

Just stop making smart phones! You are incompetent at it!

Phone broke within warranty. Sent off to get repaired. Came back still broken and Nokia have been looking into why for 2 months with no response. Buy a Nokia and it will break and they are terrible at fixing it. Get another brand with support or aftermarket support.

I love Nokia ever since I was young and I believe in theri comeback, just bought their latest version and left IOS, fingers crossed

The best Nokia phone I've ever had! The X30 8gb 250gb is an amazing version - you simply do not need SD storage on board. The 50mb camera is excellent without overprocessing the images.The display (Gorilla Glass Victus and waterproof) is superb and the simpler Android setup (compared to my Galaxy A53 which is good) works really well. Fast charging is brilliant - all with a three year warranty!

My phone is year old they wont mend it.but why wrote this is they dont care sending it back wont charge i think they make excuses so dont mend them this taken 4 weeks. Never buy nokia my samsung was 5 years old

Wij hebben quasi dezelfde fout gemaakt zoals 'Camo' het hieronder ook omschrijft, een Nokia 5.4 gekocht en bedrogen uitgekomen. Het moederbord van ons toestel blijkt er één te zijn zonder IMEI-nummer (= dus gelijk aan piraterij), geen 'wipe data' en/of 'factory reset' mogelijk bij bevroren toestel. Massa's en massa's mails en chatberichten met het verkooppunt in België, maar ook met HMD Global (= nieuwe naam van Nokia) en hun hersteldienst CTDI, beiden in Roemenië.

Phone died after 14 months.
It's been in for repair for 9 weeks now with no updates at all and it is impossible to get any sort of update from the live chat or support email address. At this point I have given up on ever seeing the phone again and will now pursue my credit card company for a refund.

The company needs to give people a chance to reply to the first question asked and not fire more questions at customers and taking the answer to the first question as the answer to all questions asked.i purchased two Nokia G42 phones and both have the same problems to say that I am annoyed with hmd is just the tip of the iceberg. I would suggest to anybody to think twice about purchasing a mobile phone from this company.
