Customer support, I have reported 2 different spoofers in my area ( cheaters ) and niantic have done nothing, haven't even acknowledged my report, have tried their legal email address all I got is its nothing to do with us here's a link which either directs you to delete the game or appeal a ban also tried the niantic support page on Instagram and got use the in app help page which I am fed up reporting to and get nothing not even we have got your concerns etc, they are breaking their own terms and conditions by allowing people to cheat and ruin the game for legit players, if you decide to download the game DO NOT AGREE to the terms and conditions as this waves away any rights you have and make niantic untouchable in court as you've signed away your rights, they are only interested in your money, the game glitches breaks down and all they do is blame your phone your Internet your service provider and when you prove its none of them and it is their game they just ignore you then months later give you a sorry due to a glitch here's a makeup event which doesn't give you anything like what you would have got if the glitch was fixed at the time but they have already had your money for the event, they just dont care about you only your money

The update for pokémon go is useless and it makes the game not work well and the message bot takes forever to message back and I hope that they go bankrupt

Customer service doesn't seem to know anything about the game as i have to explain to them step by step the issue to end up with a message that sounds inhuman. I feel like they have automated message bot that deflect their customers. I hear the rare story that they’ve help a player but majority of player base that i talk to in person is that it’s non existent.

My account was stolen, and I couldn’t get it back neither could I close it down for good. So no one misuses it more!
Even if I provided the customer service with my trainer code. I get it if the account was used by a scammer and they changed the e-mail but I can’t wrap my head around it that they couldn’t find it by addressing my trainer code that is never changeable.
I got bad vibes with customer service, they felt like they just wanted to get you off the email they don’t do nothing for there long time players.
I’m so angry with the scammer that stole my account. And I’m not any less angry on very poor customer service!!

This is the reply from Niantic I show you how sloppy they write it:
”We've shared as much as we can related to your request and we will not continue to respond. If we can help you with something else or if you believe you are seeing this message in error, please reach out via our Help Center.

My answer:
I demand for them to give my details of the matter, I provide with trainers code, that should at least mean something. And how poorly they want to cut you off.
They only said they couldn’t find it via email and did’t give any further information.

Useless support, it's only automated bot messages. If you lose money/items because of a bugg in the game you're shit out of luck because they're rubbing their greedy little paws while they take your money without fixing, addressing or compensating.

WARNING! Do not buy remote raid passes in Pokemon Go! I was left with a dark grey blank screen with no Dialga encounter after defeating it, upon reopening the app. The game had taken my remote raid pass and when I contacted support all I received was various automated bot messages giving me automated solutions. It tells you to open another case if you want an answer as it was automated and I opened another case and it came back with the same automated answer. Giving me no compensation with an answer that did not match what had happened to me even though I gave extra detail of what had happened. Nasty company stealing peoples money!

I’ve been a long-time user of Niantic’s games and was excited about their innovative concepts. Unfortunately, my experience has been consistently frustrating. The apps frequently suffer from glitches, lag, and GPS errors that disrupt gameplay. Events are often poorly managed, with misleading announcements or technical issues that leave players feeling overlooked.

Customer service is equally disappointing—responses to support tickets are slow, often generic, and rarely resolve the actual problem. It feels like player feedback is ignored, and there’s little accountability when things go wrong. For a company with such a passionate community, Niantic’s lack of transparency and follow-through is incredibly discouraging.

Unless Niantic invests in improving both their technical performance and customer support, I can’t recommend their products.

Abgrundtief schlechter Support. Ich hatte ein Problem mit einem ihrer Produkte und habe versucht, den Support zu kontaktieren. Seitdem werde ich vom Support geghosted.

Niantic support team sucks! Someone reported my nickname NoDramaMama5155 as being offensive and instead of prompting me to change it they took it upon them selves to change it to Trainer37670887 permanently! I even requested that they allow me to pick a new nickname and they refused! What a joke

Niantic, you expect people to have fun, getting nostalgic over this game, gift us Pokémon we dont care about after a bunch of hard work, and then design them to break out of everything no matter what you use and how you stack it, over and over again until the point i want to completely smash my phone all over the place, break it in half and smash everything in my sight. I hate you all.

I lost access to my facebook account. The Niantic support is refusing to help me at all. I try to contact them for 4 weeks. Every try takes at least a day before I get an answer. On Instagram, X and per Mail they totally ignore me.

Good game but be careful about in game purchases such as raid passes. If there is a glitch and you lose your raid that you paid for the raid pass to enter, they 50% of the time when you contact them send an automated response and won’t give you a replacement pass.

Whenever someone invites me to a max battle it won’t allow me to invite others.

Is it me or has the game gone down hill since 2016? I use to love playing and now it seems more like a money grab scam. Free to play items have been nerfed and if you want the old school pay ways those are no more. Rip to anything good in the game. Niantic pushes go out and play ways but players don’t want that. Anything fun they released during covid years has been nerfed and game has gone back to the original ways of playing.

If you’re disabled or rural player forget about even playing. You have to be extra careful when traveling. If I had understood the spoofing cool down rules and other ways to avoid a ban strike I wouldn’t of gotten one when going to Europe for 2.25 weeks. Niantic wouldn’t budge on their behalf so I abandoned the account and started a new one after that and joined the exploiters. Niantic’s customer service is horrid and non existent. It punishes players rather than working with them. There are several bugs still in the game from the early days and they refuse to fix them at all. Bgl is still broken and buggy along with several other bugs that they won’t fix any time soon. Players find exploits all the time and niantic could care less until everyone finds out about the exploit then they’ll block or nerf it.

I’m tired of these soft ban rules for playing and good lord if you’re a passenger in a vehicle. Can’t play at all or limited. The auto catcher is the closest I get to playing and it is more frustration than it’s worth. It constantly has pairing issues and despite being legal niantic keeps disabling it. if I go back to old school ways of playing I’m joining the cheaters due to a dead grid area I reside in.

I’m finding a lot of pop up events are becoming scam events with how niantic keeps “forgetting” to turn on things for the event. We’re human we error but this keeps happening and when it turns into an equation, it’s fraud. I’ve reported many fraud issues to the ftc and I’m glad I only buy gofest tickets once a year. The game has turned into a play to pay game. Shame on you niantic for pushing this feature kudos for the ftc calling you out on this for kids making unauthorized charges to parents credit cards. Along with many other suites that have come their way over the years.

I love pokemon but am growing tired of this game. I have on/off phases and personally would of stopped a long time ago. Niantic you have destoryed my social circle. Before they were all normal and we did normal social things in society. Now they only want to play pokemon go and that’s it. That’s all they want to do. They are literally phone addicted and your game teaches false exorcise. It’s up to the player to be safe in society but if your game gets someone out and they have an incident because of it you should be held accountable for it.

Players not held accountable for their actions. Every now and then we’ll get a group of players that come in and harass our local neighborhood gym. We’ve reported these delinquents to niantic but they could care less. Now and then spoofers will dominate our gym thinking it’s free open game but we share the gym evenly. I’ve reported many of these players but niantic could care less. Last year we had a neighbor harass our gym and refused to share it for even a minute and had like 8+ accts. Sorry but that’s a bit over board most playres have a min of 2 accts but 8+ come on. It’s players like these that are ruining the game. Cheaters cheat, innocent players get caught up in the middle and the game just isn’t as fun anymore. Been playing since 2016 early release.

The support team are useless. Just an automated bot and of no use to get any kind of compensation. I have lost connection for a split second a few times during remote raids and never got an encounter but they take your raid passes/pokemons health. My advise, never purchase them so you don’t end up losing a bunch of money.
