Exceptional care and compassion showed by healthcare assistant in A&E
My husband attended the A&E Dept on 24th October 2024 and was placed in cubicle 9. Debbie, a healthcare assistant who came on the night shift impressed me greatly. She saw how uncomfortable my husband looked on the trolley and went and got a pillow for him. I had previously asked for one from the day staff and was told there was none. Debbie even tried to see if a bed was available on the ward for him to be transferred to, but was not able to get one. She checked on us regularly making sure we were both ok. As a retired nurse, I felt she showed such care and compassion towards my husband and attended to his needs making sure she communicate her actions before carrying them out. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She has the qualities that I observed to be lacking in some of the qualified nurses on the ward that he was subsequently transferred to. Debbie is an asset to your organisation and would be an excellent nurse should she progress in her career.

They had booked me for interview at 9.15am. they cancelled the appointment at 8.50am via text message, very unprofessional. when I contacted them Emily their staff was rude on her response and then they blocked me from accessing their website. A terrible company to seek employment from. They request for your document prior to booking interview. I hope they do not sell or use our documents to recruits illegal immigrants. Seek employment from this company at your own risk!!!

Terrible company to work for
Terrible company to work for. They don't answer emails and God forbid if you send a WhatsApp to the wrong person in the company. The website is extremely difficult to navigate, there are no clear instructions on which path to follow in order to complete courses. The information on the app is different to the website. I could go on and on.

Firstly, we do not use WhatsApp as a means of communication, but we do have our phone lines open 24 hours a day. Additionally, our team can be reached through the Help and Support section of our app, where one of our dedicated and experienced members will be happy to assist you with any challenges you might be facing, including navigating the training.
Our app and website are separate platforms. If you contact us through the app’s support feature, we’re confident we can guide you through any issues you may be having and ensure you can complete your courses smoothly.
We’re here to support you, and we encourage you to reach out through our available channels so we can address any concerns and help you get the most out of your experience.

I had an interview with this company, I was offered the job while still on the phone. I did all the mandatory training and gave all of my information over to Lee but he has failed to respond to me and it’s been several weeks. I can see he’s online and can see my messages. I’ve now turned down my job offer but I don’t recommend this company as they don’t seem to care. I was told I could be working by the Thursday my interview was on the Monday and I still haven’t gotten a response 0/10 from me

Mum had a nasty fall out of bed at 6am paramedics with us by 630 , New Cross by 7ish seen by doctors X-ray etc home by 4 outstanding care , mum 86 and was made to feel very special , thankgod no breaks but painful shoulder out of socket

Disappointing urgent issues
I worked a shift and was not paid, their app needs updating coz the system hasn't picked this shift.I just want my money for the shift l worked.They shld put emergency shifts on their app not write emails to everyone and then let everyone know they have got enough staff that's unprofessional, what if they give those emergency shifts to their friends in the field.I was disappointed when l wrote an email to confirm my attendance at a manual and handling course ,no one responded back to confirm my place only to write to me the day before the course that places are already taken.They have grown their agency and they do whatever they want.The workforce number doesn't work, just give us a number where we speak to someone not an automated voice that hangs up at the end.

I've been with newcross for over 7 yrs
I've been with newcross for over 7 yrs. Constant changes made not for the better. The app is a waste of time, some colleagues get shown shifts others not. They haven't provided me for work for over 2 Yr so made me inactive last July despite trying to contact them several times to state no shifts coming up on app. I cover 3 counties too so something should be coming up. Have tried to sort this out so many time but never speak to the same person. To then get contacted by them to say why arnt you picking up shifts and yes we want you to work with us, for nothing to be sorted again and again. The arm doesn't know what the elbows doing, so have just deleted the app. No transparency I've not got a clue what goes on, and it appears neither does anyone else. So many phone calls about shifts not appearing on my app amd becoming active but fobed off. My last appraisal was a joke the person didn't even know I was a nurse and lasted 5 minutes tops, Then would not send me a copy so had to send several emails. Don't bother! They move the goal posts to suit themselves. Default responce is contact your branch when the are no longer branches and central number means I can speak to anybody in the country who promise to send an email and nothing..... I could go on but I'm bored with it myself!
The response below is the same rubbish response I have had too many times. Ypu obviously do not take on board what people say because nothing has changed and you send out the same corporate bull!
