The Team Spirit was Amazing.

I worked for Newcross for 3 years I had 200 5* rating review from previous shifts and had completed 400 shifts , I had great regular shifts. I worked in the north east however my partner lived in scotland and my parents lived in the southwest so when I visited I was able to get regular shift in those areas also.

One day the shifts stopped showing on my app, the occasional one or two I was able to pick up in a 6 month period. Because of this New Cross closed my account and said there were no positions available in my area. However if you reapply it state there are positions in my area.

Quite disappointing to be unable to work with them as I was a good employee and worked hard. I’m very willing to work.

Newcross turned from my sole employer to my top up employer overnight.
The flexibility I loved it meant I was able to put myself through university at the same time.

As a business who used new cross for their services we are utterly shocked how bad the services are! Poor communication, unapproachable, untrained staff with no support, unreliable. Avoid at all cost to keep your businesses reputation!

I hadn’t received any correspondence for a month or two regarding the status of my application. I reached out to Garion one of the recruitment assistants over social media and he has been absolutely brilliant giving feedback and chasing information up for me. I now feel things are moving in the right direction and am looking forward to start working with Newcross

I joined newcross for about two months now and my experience with them have been great.First of all the health force go App is excellent,It has features like support service ,availability and others.
The support service which has a live chat,This live chat works 24 hours where most of my questions are been answered.Also their agents are top notch they have time to listen to all my questions and grievances.
The availability section where you’re to inform the branch whenever you’re available which does not affect your daily routine.
Also the there are a lot of courses that can be accessed for free without paying for it.This courses also helped me to equip myself in the support in the services I render to my service user’s.

I have been working for Newcross in Aberdeen for a year and a half and have found this a very good company to work for and have received a high level of support when required. As far as training & personal development go, there is a lot on offer.

I do agree with some of the other reviewers that sometimes it can be difficult to reach someone by phone but upon emailing my assigned office contact, I always receive a reply. I have frequently had to use the out of hours contact number and have had no problems so far with that.
This evening I used the app chat bot to ask about a shift related issue for tomorrow, and Agile the agent I was referred to got back to me super fast and resolved my issue in a few minutes.

As for volume of work, I think for anybody doing agency work, after getting an initial shift with a new client ,from then on you have to work really hard at selling yourself to the client at every shift you do and to also be prepared to do the "shift hustle" as I like to call it - ask if there is any shifts slots that need filled the next day/week/month and make sure the client has a note of your availabIlity & contact details, as not all clients use, or may want to use, the Newcross app for booking. Let them know you can do short notice sick cover - eg 1-2 hours notice. It all helps with getting repeat work.

Newcross rates of pay are on a par with the other agencies working in my local area ( trust me, I have researched this to death!)

urology A31 YOU ALL DESERVE 5 stars i wish there was more stars i give so caring and team work is out this world my mum had just been told she has t2 cancer and we came on ambulance transport so my mom is usually bed ridden but on this occasion we travelled in the wheel chair as mum mum was due to risk of pressur sores and incontient the hca and nursers arranged mum a bed on there department and made me and mum comfortable and also provided my mum with a sandwich and both of us a warm drink keep up the good work A31 ALSO THE RECEPTIONIST WAS A CREDIT TO THE TEAM VERY PLITE AND KEPT US UPDATED ON TRANSPORT KEEP DOING WHAT YOU DO TEAM A31

The worse agency I worked with.
If it was possible I'll give them -0 points. I'm with them as a Nurse fir 3 years, and each of it I had no more than 10 shifts per year.
Worse! Worse!

It was an excellent service

This is the worst organization I have ever worked for. I worked with all my heart and passion but they just decided not pay me all my salary. They keep posting me from one automated response to another. I experienced my worst with this company.

I'd like to give a big shout out to the young man on the A&E reception called Dean.
He was absolutely fantastic. He was polite, professional and kept my brother and I regularly updated to my Mum's progress and treatment, when they admitted her to hospital. Thank you. It made our A&E experience less stressful.

I had a good experience on my first shift,due to subsequent support I got from the team.

It was an interesting excellent experience, every staff was happy to work with me. They even asked me to come back as they are so happy with my work. The residents were also so excited at the way I cared for them.

My experience with the support team was very helpful and productive, they gave relevant advice and tips to help me with the HFGo app and response was very timely also. Great job team.

I gave one star because I cannot hive ZERO. No shifts, shifts are not posted on the app. I had 9 shifts in a year. No communication, only useless robot option. Wrong deductions on your payslips. The worst is the lack of communication. If you have a question or issue to solve you will never solve it. Never ever work for this company. It is a sad joke.
