Don't bother
This company doesn't patrol the site as they said they would instead of getting better the parking has increased. I would definitely not recommend this company.
The RingGo app to pay failed at the…
The RingGo app to pay failed at the time of registering a new vehicle of mine, without any warning. The appealing system does look to be managed by a proper human as the answer is not dealing with the issue described, a waste of time ... Different fine amounts to pay, depending on the channel of communication ... Threatening options to go further with the appealing ... Appalling.
Absolutely disgusting!!!
Absolutely disgusting!!!!
If there was a low rating than 1 i would rate them 0. My letter with the fine arrived very late. I had to time to appeal due to the 14 days period, paid the fine. Then wrote to them and explained the situation. The reply was, sorry, company policy, you've paid already, cannot appeal.
Simply money making company !!!
worse parking service
worse parking service. bad experiences in liverpool. appeal team needs to be checked
Absolute omnishambolic company
Our estate has just introduced parking control and NPC were the omnishambles of a company chosen to enforce it. They never issued me a permit which after numerous phonecalls was eventually resolved however this meant I didn’t receive my permit until a few days after the controls were introduced. I was assured by one of their operators on the phone that my car details would be added to their system to prevent any parking notices being issued in the interim period. Lo and behold a parking notice appears a few days later. Appealed stating all of the above facts and still got rejected, the more cynical might suggest without the appeal actually being read.
In an industry full of morally bankrupt operators this company win the title by a long shot, as proven by other reviews.
Totally inadequare signage
A new parking policy at a place I've visited for 20 years but no genuine attempt at alerting visitors. Totally Inadequate signage, i.e. no signs at the mouth of the car park just a small one on the side of a building about 40 feet away which could have been mistaken for the business inside. No decently sized PAY HERE signs, totally inadequate and reeking of cowboy practices.
Shamefull and sharp business practice
Shamefull and sharp business practice. Visiting a restaurant which I have for many years which had no parking restrictions only to find subsequent to my last visit to have been issued a fine by this company. There was no obvious signage so I was totally unaware of the new arrangement. I pointed this out in an appeal and my observation was not addressed and my appeal rejected.
Corrupt and dishonest company
Received a debt recovery notice on 20.06.2025 through the post for a parking penalty incurred on 27.04.2025. Not disputing the parking penalty as they have this covered with a very inadequate sign on a busy retail park near a row of shops just outside Liverpool City Centre. My son had parked for half an hour whilst spending money in the adjacent stores blissfuly unaware that he should have paid and displayed for that half hour. The issue is not the penalty which would have been paid immediately HAD HE KNOWN ABOUT IT. NO PENALTY NOTICE OR REMINDER WAS EVER RECEIVED AT OUR ADDRESS. FACT. NOT SOME ELABORATE COVER UP TO AVOID PAYING A £60 CHARGE. WE RECEIVED NO CORRESPONDENCE WHATSOEVER UNTIL THE DEBT RECOVERY LETTER. MY SON HAS NOW HAD TO PAY £170 FOR A MISSED £1.80 PARKING TICKET WHILST SPENDING HIS MONEY IN BUSINESSES IMMEDIATELY ADJACENT TO THE PARKING AREA. The situation is made worse by the fact that the debt recovery agency dcbl dated the letter 12th June 2025 and it did not arrive until 20.06.2025 on a Friday afternoon just before close of play, stating he had 14 days to settle the 'debt' before commencement of legal proceedings. 8 days had already gone and with it being weekend nothing would happen. This allowed us 4 days to sort our appeal. Initial phone calls and emails were met with complete disinterest and point blank refusal to listen to our representations. Absolutely shameful business practices and research is identifying many other people whose first knowledge of their NPC fine was a debt recovery letter in the sum of £170. Coincidence? I don't think so. I will not be letting this matter rest until these corrupt people are brought to task.
I am a critical intensive care nurse…
I am a critical intensive care nurse and have been for twenty four years, using my work lease car to park at St Thomas’ Hospital, London car park for fifteen years.
Recently the car park has been taken over by National Parking Control. I have received two PCN and appealed both which have been unsuccessful for not parking wholly within a bay. No communication given as to the changes of car management and spaces so narrow for SUV and larger vehicles to park. I have a lease car through the hospital salary sacrifice scheme that I am in contract with for the next three years so cannot change to a smaller vehicle.
There are no designated spaces for staff or larger vehicles.
The boundary lines are painted through concrete pillars. This is a busy car park and limited spaces. My car would essentially be damaged if I could even attempt to park closer to the pillar in fact.
I am now having to try and take this further with the hospital trust as this proves a huge issue for me driving in to do my role plus put in a complaint to National parking control. I have also been advised by Tusker, the lease scheme this appears to be an ongoing problem with hospital car parks.
I am sure not only is this now effecting other employees within the trust but also patients and families themselves parking at our hospital.
Any appeal appears fruitless and now waiting to hear back from the complaints team. This car park company seem to be money grabbing scammers at best. Be warned!
Watch out for this scamming company.
Watch out for this scamming company.
NPC tried to charge me for parking at one of their locations for three full days—even though I wasn’t there. I provided clear evidence showing my car was at home during the alleged period, but they still rejected my appeal.
Thankfully, I escalated the issue to the IAS (Independent Appeals Service), who reviewed the case properly. They confirmed that NPC had no evidence that I had been parked continuously, and that their system was incorrectly clocking me in and out.
NPC’s practices seem shady at best. Be very careful with them—they appear to rely on flawed systems and ignore valid proof to push unjust charges.
I HAVE ONLY PUT ONE STAR AS I CAN NOT…
I HAVE ONLY PUT ONE STAR AS I CAN NOT GO ANY LOWER. Got a so called parking charge notice 15.20 on a sunday outside a shop, they only took 1 photo of my vehicle, which happens to be the only 1 with a sign, on a public highway they had 1 small sign on a lampost, sometime in the following week they put more signs up, POOR JOE PUBLIC does not stand a chance against these modern day thieves...
Fined multiple times for using our own space!
NPC were brought in by our housing association to control parking of allocated spacing in our car park. We had to go through the rigmarole of registering to park in a space we legally own. Then they sent visitor permits to everyone in the building, including people who didn't have spaces. This caused complete chaos.
Then a month or so later we received a fine, despite the fact that we registered our epermit and they acknowledged it. We sent evidence of all the emails that supported this, including one that read "We acknowledge receipt of your registration xxxxxx"..... And you guessed it...they refused the appeal. We then received a further four fines.
This has happened to numerous people in the building, and we've had to go to the lengths of petitioning our housing association to get the fines cancelled.
We've now got our way and the scheme has been abandoned. Please, if you're a building manager thinking of using the company to make your residents lives easier, please don't.
Scammers
Fined despite literally attempting to pay and the app saying parking is free and the sign saying it was free between 6pm and 8am and the cheek for them to then put the hours that I was in clearly saying that I was in during the free period. How can you send out fines without proper checks, the government should genuinely investigate these scamming thieves, if they reject the appeal I will be refusing to pay and take them to court, not the first time they’ve unjustly fined me aswell. Scam!
Paid for parking still fined
I received a parking fine from NPC at Lancing Beach Green, even though I paid for two hours of parking via the RingGo app at 13:11. The ticket was issued just 23 minutes later, at 13:34.
The issue was that the app auto-selected the wrong car park, despite me being physically in the correct one and checking the sign. I explained this in my appeal, attached proof of payment, and noted I had just had a baby and made an honest mistake. I also spoke to the warden, who advised me to appeal.
My appeal was rejected without any real consideration, so I paid the fine under protest to avoid further charges. Very disappointing treatment despite clear evidence and a genuine effort to follow the rules.
I’ve had an absolute horrible…
I’ve had an absolute horrible experience with this company. I have parked in a ‘no parking space ‘ back in April. They’ve left no ticket on the windscreen so I was not aware of any fine. Two months later I am receiving a letter from the debt collector threatening to take me to court as I have unpaid PCN with this company. I have never received a letter from NPC before and the company is claiming that they have sent a letter. The customer service team are not helping at all, and are blaming all on Royal Mail and advising that we contact the local postal service to sort out why I’ve not received the letter. They don’t hold themselves accountable when in fact it’s them who have sent the letter with Royal Mail not me!!! The proof of postage that they sent me doesn't have a tracking number and doesn’t mention anything about sending it using Royal Mail - it rather looks like an internal generated document which proves nothing to me. This company is robbing people , and they are forcing people to now be paying x3 the original PCN without the chance to appeal against it. Debt collectors are refusing to accept any appeal as they’ve bought off the debt from these guys. It’s an awful company and would highly recommend avoiding them as a parking management company. I will surely be contacting our estate management company and requesting that they change our parking management company.
The NPC car park near Coffee#1…
The NPC car park near Coffee#1 Riverside Bath is very deceitful. The white lines of the spaces are faded & there is spaces to park that are not official car park spaces & people are receiving fines. This is a disgraceful way to make money out of innocent people 😡
This company is daylight robbery
This company is daylight robbery, visitors permit was displayed in my car when dropping my granddaughter home. How these people sleep at night is beyond me. Can’t pay fine online as it’s not working and unable to get through on the phone, is this a tactic to pay a higher fine.
I got a ticket for parking in my own…
I got a ticket for parking in my own parking spot by NPC.
1. They say you enter into a Contract when you enter the parking. This is a load of bulls##t do not fall for it.
2. I refused to pay and I got maybe a dozen letters, bailiffs, higher bailiff, lawyers letters they all were connected to the NPC Business. So you are maybe dealing with the same people.
3. I challenged them to take me to court or simply shut up. They never took me to court despite me requesting their so-called legal company to do soon a few occassions.
4. My lease was stronger than anything that NPC could try to enforce. And they knew it too.
5. You can write to NPC and inform them and the management company of your intention to NOT be part of this parking system. They can do nothing about it.
6. I never took a Parking Permit and I never ever will do.
7. Your lease agreement is the key document, if you have the right to park in your own spot then give NPC the two rods. Or if someone has given you the permission to park in that spot (under their lease) as say a visitor again you can park without a problrm.
8. NPC are chancers and try to frighten you with CCJs, Bailiffs etc. Legally they cannot do any of that without a courts permission.
9. Are they going to go through all that to claim £60...and possibly lose their claim, NO is the answer. Do not be scared of these chancers, take them on if you have the right to park.
10. Had this gone to court I had prepared a huge claim against NPC. For falsely accusing me of parking without displaying an NPC pernit. As i say I will never display one because you do not have to.
11. Also these guys operate on land that they do not own.
Why these companies exist is beyond me.
Why these companies exist is beyond me.
They are a cancer growing on our country.
Anyone who chooses to work for them should reevaluate their life's choices. There's a lot of jobs out there, if you choose this one... Shame on you.
