Applying for a reverse mortgage. Told them what our property was compared with to other homes around us. Paid for appraisal and appraisal has come back way under comparative we’ve had done twice. I have asked for 2 weeks for a copy of the appraisal I paid for and have yet to get it. It was emailed but it’s not downloading. Asked 3 times to re-email and never done. Asked again and asked that it be mailed to us. Told it was sent out in the mail. A week later, no appraisal. The original man we talked with said he’d email it right away, still haven’t received from him either. I paid for the appraisal, it’s my property since I paid for it. Why are they lying to me about the appraisal? So far they’ve proven to be liars and maybe cheats. BEWARE of this company. I wish I would never have talked with them in the first place.
