The 2 people I spoke with on the phone refused to give me a loan interest rate until I filled out their online form and uploading just income verification, which I did promising only a soft pull on my credit, and I would have my loan rate within an hour. I spent a lot of time gathering and submitting the information which was complete. Then some sleezy salesman kept fishing for more information that was not necessary unless I was actually applying for the loan. He alteady got my income documents, then wanted, w-2 information, bank statements, chrck stubs, etc... he never gave me their loan rates. Total identity theft! Do not use this company they are fraudsters trying to steal your identity. They lie about what they need, then just ask for more information in order to steal your identity. I am calli m g the police and filing a complaint.

Very disappointing experience with Tomo. I submitted a complete application and am fully qualified (and approved with other lenders), yet they refused to provide a Loan Estimate and gave inconsistent and shifting explanations.

When I asserted my rights, I was told I would be denied instead. Peter (NMLS #2063056) handled this in a way that raises serious concerns about compliance with RESPA and basic lending transparency standards.

Refusal to provide required disclosures, lack of accountability, and no ability to escalate to management. The overall experience felt intentionally opaque and unprofessional. I would strongly recommend working with a more transparent and compliant lender.

They got people that stupid that don't know what they're doing I would never recommend them to nobody not even my worst enemy they wait till a week before closing to give people their answer I was working with them for 3 months and that we got to do three different clothes and times because they were playing games so I would never recommend them for nobody

As a first time home buyer finding a lender was very crucial in my search. I looked into several different lenders, and was intrigued when I came across Tomo Mortgage. There competitive mortgage rates grabbed my attention. Within a couple days I was working directly with Michael Welsh. He provided an estimate for the mortgage and closing costs the same day. The closing costs were significantly lower then any other lender I spoke with. During the process Michael and my loan advisor, Forrest Lansky, kept constant communication and answered all of the questions I had. I ended up saving $14K in closing costs, and overall it was a great experience. I will definitely recommend them in the future.

This company should be put on a watch list they have these astronomical monthly fees. And for the last 2 months you haven't been able to link your bank account so you can't actually activate your card. It's a scam essentially and trying to get them to stop billing you that good luck.

Our Tomo agent, Dylan Grushoff, was professional, informative, and extremely responsive. He explained all the terms, requirements, and options clearly, and when the forms promptly arrived, there were no unexpected additions or surprises. Our negotiations for a new home became complicated (not from Tomo's end), and Dylan was very helpful in helping us sort out what our various options were. I have no complaints and only praise for all of my interactions with Tomo.

Having gone through the homebuying experience previously, working with Tomo was unbelievably easy and fast. Even my realtor and title company commented how quick and diligent they were. Their initial application takes a bit more time than other "fast" digital lenders but no one came near the rates and customer service they offered. I especially liked that the rate that was advertised to me was the rate I actually secured. No gimmicks. Glad I took a chance on them. Special shoutout to Joe, my loan advisor, who was truly excellent.

So far so good! Currently putting out offers as a first time buyer, and checking in with all the Lenders for the best rates/customer service.
The application process was fairly standard to what I had seen before.
Chatting with our assigned Loan Advisor, AJ Hitchens, was extremely pleasant. We walked through the pre-approval document together and he explained all their selling points effectively.
I think the rates will be hard to beat!

Tomo Mortgage collected an appraisal payment from an elderly widowed woman. She paid for the appraisal upfront. The mortgage process wasn't not smooth for her. She was purchasing a property, in escrow on her transaction, and her calls were never answered. She stated they spoke down to her in many cases. She choose to move to a different lender. When asking for the appraisal transfer, they refused. Not only did they refuse, they blocked her email address from receiving additional communication from her. This is unprofessional, unethical, and elderly abuse.

We are just beginning our home search/purchase journey and we are working with Sean. He has been punctual and has listened to our needs. We have needed revisions to our pre/approval letter and he has gotten them to us almost instantaneously!

Tomo and Sean were great to deal with during this process. Their promptness was especially appreciated.
