I have to say my husband and I have bought many homes over the years. And never have we ever had anyone as wonderful as Renee to work with. She goes above and beyond and everything she does. She listens to your concerns she shares her knowledge that's the key thing for us is the knowledge that she has. So far we could not be more happy with her and her abilities. Wish we would have found her six houses back.

Zillow matched me with a representative whose name is Eli. At first, my communications with him were timely and effective. He was available to answer my questions and followed up in a timely manner. However, once I started inquiring about first time home buyers’ discounts, special programs, grants, etc. my interactions with him became highly unpleasant. Not only did he speak to me in a way that was disrespectful and patronizing but also actively tried to dissuade me from specific programs by providing incomplete or erroneous information. Moreover, in many instances he appeared very anxious about my closing costs and incessantly asked me if I had enough money to cover those, how I was going to pay, etc when I hadn’t even made a decision about my lender options. I am rating my experience and this salesman as low as I did because as a first time home buyer, I have the right to ask as many questions as I need to, educate myself about the many pros and cons of various lenders, and most importantly MAKE MY OWN decisions based on those factors. Loan salesmen who are pushy, demeaning, patronizing, dishonest and are solely fixated on making the most money out of people no matter what or how are not helpful particularly for those of us being in the market for the first time. The home buying process is already a stressful event and with individuals like these, things are even more stressful than they need to be. Thank you. Next!

The loan officer seemed a little too pushy trying to convince me to go to Mutual of Omaha after getting a loan estimate from another lender. I had initially messaged her that I no longer need her services so that she doesn’t spend additional time working with me. She stated that I am getting taken advantage of just because I’m going with the lender with “the lowest payment.” I can see where she is coming from, but with the way she expressed it, I do not think this is the way to approach a client. She did explain what to ask and look out for, which I did appreciate but I just didn’t like how persistent she was after initially stating I no longer needed a lender and the way she expressed it.

My advice, shop around multiple lenders. Compare their costs/fees. Go with the one that best works out for you.

Their process was super easy and Rhonda Anderson is a dream to work with. She is so professional.

Great communication and Peter was very nice and honest and upfront with the process and very fast. We had an issue with finding the right house but also had a deadline as we already sold our other house. He was able to make it work when we found the right house and still close on our original closing date.

My agent Shawn he was totally awesome he was efficient he was clear and he moved this process along extremely expeditiously. He let you know exactly what you need and by when you need it as he gets it he's right on it moving you along in your process I can't say enough about him he's really good.

I filled out the form for information and after being contacted by an agent I explained my situation. I told him that we were looking for down payment assistance programs. He was also informed about my income as well as how much we had to use for closing costs and down-payment. After running a full credit check when I was told that he would only run a preliminary check, I was informed that my income was too high to qualify for any down-payment assistance programs. I was further quoted a huge sum in closing costs and down-payment which was far more than I had told the loan officer we had saved for the purchase.
The rate quoted, which was was very low, was also only obtainable by paying a very large sum to buy down the rate. I have not been contact by the loan officer since I emailed him asking about the closing costs and fees.
