they are loath to refund you if you book a trip with them and you are unable to do it due to illness, which was caught on one of their trips, and meant i need intravenous antibotics. they will give you the runaround and shirk their responsibilities, becareful if you book any trips with them as you may end up out of pocket. their refund policy is f you

Sehr teuer

Vom Flughafen Marsa Alam zu meinem Hotel hatte ich eine Fahrt online gebucht für 54€. Nachdem ich um Hotel absetzt würde, würde mir gesagt, ich hätte bei der Buchung falsche Angaben gemacht und soll nochmal 30€ nachzahlen. Die Strecke betrug nur 37km und wurde in 32 Minuten gefahren. Bei einer Anfrage im Hotel, was eine Taxifahrt zum Flughafen kostet, wurden mir 35€ genannt. Ich soll auf einmal fast das dreifache zahlen. Der Veranstalter hat dann einfach online die Fahrt storniert und will nun Geld von mir. Eine Frechheit sowas und totaler Wucher.

Abbiamo acquistato 4 biglietti venduti come saltafila e audioguida ma arrivati agli Uffizi abbiamo scoperto che non esiste una corsia saltafila: musement lì ha venduti come tale! Pessima scoperta una volta arrivati agli Uffizi!
Fate attenzione affidatevi solo al sito Ufficiale degli Uffizi!
Dei 4 biglietti acquistati, 2 per minori, musement li ha fatti pagati euro 15,00 venduti come saltafila e comprensivi di audio guida,ma i minori entrano gratuitamente e ripeto non esiste la corsia saltafila!

Musement is happy to mislead tourists

We recently bought tickets from Musement to the Neuschwanstein Castle tour mistakenly believing (as the title implies: Bavarian castles self-guided audio tour of Neuschwanstein and Alps) that this includes tickets which it DOES NOT. Frustrated, I contacted the seller, Musement who are responsible for what they publish. They refused to refund us as there are small side notes on the website saying that it doesn’t include entrance fees right at the bottom of the page. We wasted 180 Euro on a digital download that we couldn’t use. Yes we made a mistake, but why sell an audio tour (that you can use any day) for a specific date? This is misleading, deceptive and I have no doubt that both the audio tour company and Musement the seller know this, yet they intentionally take money from time poor travellers. Rather than trust me, given that I was burnt by this shoddy product, I asked AI to review the website and report whether entrance to the castle was included. These are the results, decide for yourself whether you think this is fraudulent behaviour from these two companies:

The page repeatedly uses wording that strongly implies castle entry is included, even though it is not, and only later clarifies that tickets must be bought separately.

## Phrases suggesting castle entry is included

These lines are likely to mislead someone into thinking admission to the castles is part of the product:

- “Join a self-guided audio tour **through the fabulous castles of Bavaria** and listen to the story of the tragic fate of King Ludwig, who built the Neuschwanstein Castle.”
- “Through the … castles” reads like you will go inside as part of the tour, rather than just having an audio guide.

- “See the **two most beautiful castles of the Bavarian Alps**, one of them being a prototype of a legendary Walt Disney castle.”
- “See the two … castles” without immediately stating “exterior only” or “audio guide only” can be read as including access.

- “Visit the most impressive **photo locations and panoramic viewpoints**. Discover why and how the castle was built and why no one lived in it.”
- This sounds like a normal sightseeing tour where entry is arranged, not just an audio track you play if you separately obtain tickets.

- Bulleted highlights:
- “Admire that very Disney fairytale castle”
- “Discover the sad story of King Ludwig”
- “Visit the most beautiful photo locations”
- “Enjoy fantastic views of the Bavarian Alps”
- As a typical “tour” highlight list, this can easily be read as including a standard guided visit with tickets handled for you.

- The title: “**Bavarian castles self-guided audio tour of Neuschwanstein and Alps**”
- The combination of “Bavarian castles” and “tour of Neuschwanstein” suggests a castle visit; the “audio tour” qualifier may not be enough to signal “no admission included,” especially for quick readers.

- The short marketing line: “Book a multimedia guide through an app and **explore the fabulous castles of Bavaria using your phone**.”
- “Explore the … castles” again suggests access to the sites themselves as part of the product.

## Where the exclusion is actually stated

The parts that clarify tickets are not included are relatively easy to skim past and are phrased as a note, not a headline:

- In the inclusions list:
- “- Audio guide
- Headphones
- **Entrance fees**”
- “Entrance fees” is listed but **not** as “included”; it sits under a headingless bullet list and is ambiguous. Someone might even assume it is included because it is listed there.

- In the practical information bullets:
- “**Please book your entrance ticket to the castle for €17.5 in advance**”
- This is the key disclosure that admission is not included, but it appears in the lower section of practical notes rather than near the headline or the main “highlights” block, and can be missed by users scanning quickly.

Overall, the repeated “through the castles / see the two castles / explore the castles” language, combined with the word “tour” and a generic bullet list that many people associate with ticketed excursions, makes it easy to infer that castle entry is part of the purchase, even though the fine print later says you must buy tickets separately.

I would give zero if I could!!!
On booking a tour online I searched for the 29th December booked paid then checked the email confirmation to see it was on the 5th January when I am not even in the country! Within 5-10 minutes I started to process to ask for a refund to be told I couldn’t even though on there website it clearly states 24 hour cancellation policy and I literally got in contact 10 minutes after booking! So I will be contacting my bank with all the screenshots of my chat with an agent and times of the chat and starting a chargeback! Customer service has been utterly shocking!!

In response to your message you have replied to: the only reason I received a refund was because of the tour company (thousand miles) which were taking the tour we had booked contacted me for our details and I explained what had happened to them and they were the ones that honoured the refund not yourselves! Your customer service was appalling not responding to emails and making the experience very difficult. But I would like to say a big thank you to thousand miles for restoring my faith in tour providers.
