MEININGER Hotels Arvostelua 

Soggiornare in questo hotel a Milano è stata un’esperienza degna di un film dell’orrore. Appena arrivati, la nostra stanza non era pronta (disponibile solo alle 15), e abbiamo chiesto di poter lasciare i bagagli in deposito per qualche ora. La risposta? “Certamente, sono 13 euro per due ore.” Sorprendente! In nessun altro hotel del mondo ci è stato chiesto di pagare per lasciare i bagagli prima di fare il check-in. E, come se non bastasse, vale anche al check-out: o te li porti in giro o paghi ancora.

La pulizia della stanza? Solo su richiesta! Un'opzione, pare, non inclusa automaticamente. E come ciliegina sulla torta, appena arrivati in camera, scopro che le prese di corrente non funzionano. Dopo aver temuto che ci fosse una “tassa” per l’elettricità, scopro che è un guasto… e dopo una bella mezz’ora di attesa tornano miracolosamente a funzionare.

Il vero miracolo è uscire vivi da questo hotel. Anzi, sopravvivere sia all’interno che nei dintorni: per arrivarci bisogna attraversare un giardinetto poco raccomandabile, che aggiunge un tocco di avventura urbana. Una struttura che sicuramente lascia il segno, ma per tutti gli autolesionisti che vogliono rovinarsi il soggiorno.

Så jeg kom ikke afsted til Polen aligevel. Og fik dermed ikke brugt hotellet.
Men de trak aligevel penge fra min konto. 2300 kr.
Jeg skrev til dem om jeg kunne få mine penge retur. Men nej det kunne jeg ikke...
De er de største tyveknægte der findes.
Jeg betalte 2300 kr. For en vare jeg slet ikke brugte..

Es gab eine Antwort mit Entschuldigung und 25% Rabatt auf die nächste Übernachtung. Immerhin.

Ich bin um 22.30 Uhr im Meininger Hotel in Berlin am Hauptbahnhof angereist, check-in war nicht möglich, da das Buchungssystem nicht funktionierte. Nach 90 Minuten unverändert, das Personal war überfordert und auch überhaupt nicht bereit, nach alternativen Lösungsvorschlägen zu suchen. Kein Wort der Entschuldigung für die Unannehmlichkeiten oder ein "Wartegetränk" aufs Haus. Immer nur Schulterzucken und die Aussage, es funktioniert nicht, ich solle warten. Aber wie lange soll man warten, wenn Mitternacht vorbei ist und man am nächsten Tag früh raus muss zum Termin. Traurig. Auch wollte man mir nicht schriftlich bestätigen, dass der check-in nicht möglich war.
Ich habe dann in der Nacht über booking.com Ersatz gefunden, natürlich teurer + die Taxifahrt dorthin. Auf meine Reklamation über das Kontaktformular hat niemand geantwortet, war zu erwarten.

I am beyond annoyed right now. After being woken up at 2am with welts ALL over my body from an infestation of bedbug bites (over 40). It’s not even the bites that annoy me so much (as they are easily transferred) but the manager who refused to listen to me, didn’t even look at the evidence and condisendingly and insisting that it was mosquitos (I do not react to mosquitos but am allergic to bedbugs having had them tons in Asia but he refused to acknowledge this fact). I was moved into 4 rooms during my 3 night stay (one extra room to get me away from the infested bed), other times because they wouldn’t allow a single person in dorm so I had to move from a female to mixed and back to female due to them saying they were full (even though the extra room I was moved into on bedbug night was completely empty). I hope I have infested all 3 rooms now (first night was bedbug free) and cannot be denied as I physically found a bedbug (on my backpack) and handed it the reception on the morning of checkout (it must be bad if they are all over my bags now). I am just glad I found evidence before going to stay with a friend / stay in more hotels on this trip as I would have infested them too but now have the expense of putting my bags in storage lockers wherever I go (when I could have washed everything at Meininger as I had requested but was assured I was being paranoid - by the manager - and offered me a non alcoholic drink to appease my worries… listening to me might have been a better idea). Good luck with the infestation! The reception staff were all fantastic and tried to help but there's only so much they could do with a manager who refuses to care.

Unfortunately, I encountered several issues related to administrative services. Firstly, I was denied access to my room as early as 10 a.m., despite the stated check-out time being 11 a.m. It is obvious they do this to force you out of your room before the check in time. This caused inconvenience and frustration during my stay for peculiar reasons. Additionally, the overall impression I received was that the focus was more on revenue rather than on providing quality service that has already been paid for.

Wir waren als Familie mit 3 Personen unterwegs. Das 3 Bett Zimmer klein aber sauber. Die Betten sehr bequem. Obwohl wir keinen Parkplatz gebucht hatten und sehr viel los war hat der nette Mitarbeiter uns noch einen Parkplatz gebucht. Die wenigen kostenfreien Parkplätze vor dem Hotel waren alle belegt. Die kostenfreie Parkplatzsituation vor und um das Hotel ist nicht so toll , deshalb bei der Zimmerbuchung Parkplatz am besten gleich mitbuchen. Darauf sollte bei der Buchung hingewiesen werden. Deshalb nur 4 Sterne.
Das ganze Personal war wirklich sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ganz besonders Cosima vom Frühstücksservice. Ihr leckeres Grillgemüse was sie als Abwechslung zubereitet hat, war superlecker. Das Frühstücksbüffet war gut und reichhaltig. Lediglich ein Müsli ohne Schokolade wäre noch prima gewesen.
Vom Hotel bis in die Stadt zu Fuß braucht man gute 20 Minuten. Mit dem Bus waren wir in ca. 12 Minuten in der Stadt. Die Bushaltestelle befindet sich 3 Min. vom Hoteleingang.
Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt und werden wieder einmal Gast im Meininger Hotel sein.

Struttura a Parigi nuova e accogliente con discreti spazi comuni. La cucina condivisa è piccola in proporzione al numero dei clienti presenti con frigoriferi strapieni e poche stoviglie. Inoltre non ha aria condizionata e ricambio d'aria adeguato. La stanza è nuova, carina ma molto piccola per una famiglia di 4 persone. Il bagno adeguato. La posizione è comoda vicino alla linea metropolitana. La colazione è abbondante e varia, e l accoglienza mattutina di Mohamed è fantastica!

ho alloggiato 4 notti al Meininger Bara Midi hotel di Bruxelles, vicino alla stazione. Posizione ottima, comoda per raggiungere il centro con i mezzi in pochi minuti e vicinissima al quartiere Marolles. Staff gentile.Nell'hotel c'è una piccola cucina a disposizione degli ospiti.

Purtroppo la camera per 4 era minuscola (1 matrimoniale e 1 letto a castello), non c'era spazio per muoversi. La prima camera era con aria condizionata freddissima(non regolabile) e rumorosissima, senza alcuna possibilità di spegnerla. la seconda stanza era con l'aria condizionata rotta. Pulizia della camera solo a pagamento. Nessun bicchiere in camera, nemmeno di plastica e nessun mini frigo. Costi altissimi per tenere il bagaglio dopo il check out o prima del check in.

The receptionist named Elaheh is the most horrendous person.

She is outright rude and inconsiderate.
When I asked about a machine that was broken she suggested that the machine didn’t have a problem but that I must not have the money in my account.

When I showed her I have plenty of money in my account that’s the only time she finally helped me to borrow a lock for my locker so I could use my room but she was rude to me about it the whole time. Only helping me after I insisted that if I couldn’t get a lock to protect my things then I couldn’t use my room and pointing out to her that because it was Sunday there was no place I could travel to that would be open that would have locks for me to buy. She knew the whole time that I could borrow a lock or she could have allowed me to purchase one with a card from the front desk directly it was just inconvenient for her to be helpful so she just argued with me to try and get me to go away.

She was so unbelievably rude.

Later I came down and asked if I could change my bed and she hassled and harassed me again instead of helping me.

In front of me she told her co worker that it was “ too much work” to help me simply change my bed to another bed.

When I asked her if I could speak with another worker she told me I could go find one by myself.

She said several other rude things to me but you get the idea.

Just because I am renting a space from a hostel doesn’t mean I should be paying my money for such low quality service which is practically no service at all.

I will never recommend this hostel to anyone, I will never come to this hostel again myself either -and it’s specifically because of this person called Elaheh.

If your job is too much work for you princess Elaheh maybe you should find another job someplace else!

Someone ought to tell the management at this place about this woman and the rude sanctimonious and inconsiderate way she speaks to paying guests!

Ich war insgesamt 20 Tage in diesem Hotel, es war wirklich ein schöner Aufenthalt. Das gesamte Personal nett und hilfsbereit, habe mich dort sehr aufgehoben gefühlt. Besonderen Dank noch an Cosima vom Frühstücksbuffet! Würde immer wieder dort hingehen!

Hello, staying at meininger hotel was a wonderful experience for me and my family. The room was very nice, and clean. The staff was amazing especially Mohamed he was so sweet to me and brothers, one time he gave us free pancakes.
Me and my family are from Denmark, and Mohamed was so Nice he tried to speak a little danish to us, wich helped my little brothers understand him so much better. Thank you Mohammed.
And thank you meininger hotel!💪🫵

Give Mohhamad a pay rise

I arrived late and they were a bit rude which was annoying but I could live with it. The next morning I paid for a breakfast which was absolutely terrible and that evening the staff were incredibly rude to me and my partner telling us to quiet down when we weren’t making any noise.
Staff are really horrible and obnoxious and this seems frequent in lots of reviews. Would not recommend but would recommend ibis style as a good budget option

Ho alloggiato per la prima (e ultima) volta nell’Hotel MEININGER di Milano per tre notti. La mia esperienza è stata molto negativa: non funzionava la tv in tutto l’albergo (!) per tutti e tre i gg, il servizio di pulizie in camera era solo su richiesta (!), l’armadio era chiuso e per aprirlo bisognava rivolgersi alla reception (!), nella camera doppia in realtà ci sono due letti singoli con un piumino estivo, l’albergo l’ho trovato molto rumoroso a causa di gruppi di adolescenti che alloggiavano in diversi piani, la colazione è un optional e non è proprio economica (€ 9,50/giorno). Considerando il costo della camera il rapporto qualità/prezzo è davvero pessimo.
Non tornerò mai più in questo hotel!

Ich bin um 20 Uhr beim Meininger Hof in Berlin angekommen und mein Zimmer war vergeben. Das Hotel war ausgebucht. Der Hinweis, dass Zimmer um 18 Uhr automatisch storniert werden, stand mini-klein am letzten Ende der Reservierungs-Email. Ich reise viel und sowas habe ich noch nicht erlebt. So einen Geschäftspartner braucht niemand. Nie wieder buche ich eine Übernachtung beim Meininger Hof!

Nach Notfallerkrankung meiner Tochter kein bisschen Kulanz. Alles bezahlt und keinen Cent zurück. Auch ärztliches Attest greift nicht.Und schicken mit der Ansage gleichzeitig einen Bewertungsbogen. Purer Zynismus!

J ai réservé une nuit pour août 2024. Mes dates de congé ont été modifiées et j ai demandé l annulation. Aucun remboursement, même pas pour les petits déjeuners...Bref....il faut se méfier des offres alléchantes ...Ils vont relouer la chambre ,qui aura déjà été payée une fois....c'est tout bénef pour eux...J aurais dû prendre le temps ....

By mistake I ordered the Meininger-Hotel in the wrong city. After calling immeditely asking to change the booking, they failed to help even if I delivered a proof that I called immediately for assistance without getring it. When a Hotel has such bad internal rules, it is better to avoid anything with them.
