Les draps en polyester etaient desagreable,du coup nous avons acheté des draps en coton que nous avons oublié a la restitution et impossible de les recuperer par la suite,la personne de lucky aurait pu faire le tour et s apercevoir de l oubli

Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing.
The first camper we were offered was very dirty and had a strong unpleasant smell, especially from the fridge box. The seats were light-colored and full of stains, and there was sand everywhere inside. It was clear to me that I wouldn’t be happy traveling with that vehicle.
Luckily, there was another camper available, which we then received. It was a bit better, but still not properly clean. At the beginning of our trip, I had to wash the dishes and clean the camper myself at a campsite to feel comfortable.
The bed linen in the first camper was quite disgusting, while the second one was at least okay.
I was also surprised when the staff told me that I needed to clean the inside of the camper before returning it. In my opinion, this should not be the customer’s responsibility, neither at pick-up nor at drop-off.
The tires also seemed quite worn (low tread), which didn’t feel very safe.
Additionally, we had booked a camper with a toilet (likely for “self-contained”), but our vehicle did not have the required sticker, even though similar campers did. That was disappointing, although it might have been a booking issue.
On the positive side, the staff was very friendly.

Das Auto war leicht in die Jahre gekommen, hat aber, bis auf einen Aussetzer, als am Morgen die Batterie leer war, einwandfrei funktioniert.

We had a few issues with our van rental:
- the windscreen mirror was broken (meaning we had to return and get it replaced, eating into our holiday time)
- we were given a pan with a lid that was too small
- one of the hob fires was very weak
- the balcony bed wasn’t very secure and fell down onto the bed below
- poor storage (nowhere to store your suitcases)

Alles sehr unkompliziert, Check-in als auch Drop-off. Auto war schon etwas älter aber in einem tadellosen Zustand. Der Camper ist genau richtig für eine Person evtl. auch für zwei. Fragen wurden schnell beantwortet.

The staff were friendly and the whole process was easy and streamlined. The van was very comfortable and easy to drive. The only annoying part was that you had to fold up the bed in order to drive. We also had to buy a frying pan because the one included was a tiny and very damaged Teflon pan with no lid. The cooker igniter would only work if the cooking grate was removed. There was no dish soap or scouring pad so make sure to bring your own. The cooler/fridge was very small but worked okay for 2 of us if we bought groceries every other day. Overall it was a great and fortunate experience to be able to travel and camp our way around the gorgeous South Island of NZ. Many thanks!

Overall, the whole rental went quite well. I didn’t have any problems whilst I had the van.
However, when I picked up the van in Auckland, the staff member was very unclear, which made me feel uneasy. At the time, that really frustrated me. My windscreen broke during my trip and Lucky Rentals really gave me the impression that they were doing their best to get it repaired.
What really upsets me, though, is that I wasn’t told I had to pay tolls on the roads in New Zealand!! No warning, no note, nothing at all! Now I’m being hounded by fines I have to pay off…

Rapidity, simple, good price, good communication

I had been to New Zealand for first time, so no previous experiences. I have no idea about self contained/no self contained car. I have rented NSC (Lucky Rodeo), which is nearly unusable car for camping outside camp grounds. 12V socket for lighter was not working, so I had issues with charging my batteries. At the car pick-up at Auckland site, staff was not very attentive to me, I needed help with documents registration but no body takes a care, strange.

We had a good experience with Lucky rentals. The car was well equipped and the staff friendly.

Old campervan with some issues during the travel. They ask me to go to the mechanic for repairing during my holidays! I would rent this van with a special discount but not to a normal price. In the car there were still things for the previous renters.

We loved the ease at which we were able to pick up the campervan, within walking distance to the hotel we stayed in the night prior. We knew that they also operated a shuttle system but we wanted to rest before taking to the road.
The staff were helpful and friendly and the video on the website explained a lot about how to manage the various bits to the van. The van was easy to drive and small enough to fit in normal spaces. It had plenty of space for two of us and we just loved our 1 month New Zealand adventure. Highly recommended.

We didn’t get any explanation about de van and it wasn’t clean. Really old van and furniture need to be refreshed.
The staff wasn’t friendly except for the shuttle driver.

Absolut unorganisiert. Mehr als 3 Stunden beim Pick Up gewartet, keine Kommunikation und alte Autos.
