Had a fantastic experience here at the new self checkouts in Thurles. A lovely young woman coached me through how to put in the fruit items and the breads I bought. I will definitely use this checkout again, very convenient

I've been trying to get a human on the customer helpline but Lidl don't seem to recognise the need for them anymore so cannot resolve my problem and since when did Lidl decide that humans were obsolete? Another reason to take Lidl off my shopping list.

Absolutely disastrous. Cannot get answers to whether they carry Freeway Diet Tropical crush at Lidl in the Omni.
Also every attempt to get lidl in ireland is forwarded to UK stores.
Irish Lidl is the worst Supermarket network.
Waste of time all the time !! !

Poor customer service due to lack of English
I asked for a lottery ticket for Friday the lady by the till said no paper she said no lottery no paper it took few minutes to understand she meant the printer run out of paper so she can't get me my lottery ticket but she didn't show any sign of empathy she looked angry on me them guys definitely didn't receive any customer service training 😕

Have just finished shopping in Childers road branch. I needed a pull along trolly. Every trolly in the stacking area were filthy dirty. None of them appeared to have been cleaned in at least a month. The handles were sticky with dirt. The insides were where customers had to place their purchases were disgustingly dirty. Every time I use this store they are the same it can’t be a major task to take them all out the back and power wash them at the end of business each day or more often if required. This of course would require them to be inspected regularly during the day. The one I finally had to use was so bad that the wheels wouldn’t even turn so I had to drag it around the store. There is no excuse for this condition especially when you sell unpackaged food items like fruit, vegetables, salad food etc. I have reported this to you before but there has been no change in your cleanliness practices

Terrible experience not with the Bantry store itself but with the online customer service team concerning a faulty product I bought in Bantry. This has been going on for over 6 months and during this time I have been told repeatedly to contact their team in Germany, who in turn told me to contact the team in Ireland. Over 20 days ago I was told, I would be contacted with 10 days or less to resolve this. Nothing has happened. The product I bought is now going to the dump and I will buy a proper one elsewhere. Lidl, it's too late now, I don't want to hear from you.

I went to toilet , and hit my head to cabinet near bin, blood was flowing my face , was no tiscue I called staff member to ask for tiscue He gives to me , and ask will he call anyone I said no I dont think is bad , he. Give paper and left , in mean time security pass by and another staff saw my face all blood on justignore no one ask how I feel or anything when manager said is no camera in toilet so can't help , I mean can't help as human , is it all now afraid be sueso no more care ,i went ouf and outside was so hot I nearly collapsed, I didn't want suit them i eaid is was my faukt i didn't see cabinet and bend down, once i stand I hit in corner of cabinet but anyone seeing simeone bleeding would offer chair water i felt like i try scam them . The worst customer service. I have a faulty oven. Followed all the steps through AI as you can’t speak to an agent anymore. I sent my details to the outsourced product handler in the UK and now I have been ghosted! A joke. Lidl is the new Ryanair! Do better

Went to Lidl tonight. Went to self service.Was scanning items and screen went blank.Located someone to help after ages.She said very LOUDLY so the whole shop could hear " you never scanned the brocolli".I told her the reason I asked for help was the screen went blank and I could not check.I was so embarassed I left the goods at the machine and walked out of the shop.If Lidl wants to treat their customers this badly, we don't have to accept it.There are plenty of other shops that treat their customers properly.

Best staff and best shop in navan Ireland in 2026 and in navan they make Lidl bigger store 🏪 🏬 hopefully they make bigger and making them good and finger cross 🤞

Staff are serving kids energy drinks in Lidl baldoyle that are clearly not to be sold to kids under 16.
My son is a small 12 and brought home 4 yesterday not knowing. He said him and his friends always drink them.
This needs to stop

I shop here weekly , always find what I need.

I mean, it’s Lidl. They put groceries behind security screens even in super-safe places like Germany and the Netherlands, so perhaps the Anglo-Saxon world genuinely requires a dedicated security detail for every single apple. 🍏🫡

Asked a staff member to look at the bottle deposit machine, as it was asking for a PIN,she dismissed me rudely, and told me to go to checkout. A large queue at checkout, with only one cashier, so i asked her to help, and her manners and tone was so rude and unhelpful. Reluctently she came out to machine. Rudely said there is nothing wrong and walked off, even the other people there wre amazed with her attitude!..i dont think Victoria in Thurles Lidl, has any customer service and wonder why she would be in a managers role

I think Lidl need to have a good hard look at all these reviews …….we can’t all be wrong. The management don’t seem to be interested in fixing problems in my own experience (as my daughter was employed by them) they seem to be creating problems!
I won’t go into detail but they seem to fight fire with fire and I can see why the staff are deflated rude etc as they have no support and all the Lidl policies seem disfunctional. My advice to Lidl is call on help from a supermarket executive professional or pack up shop!!!

Very disappointed with Lidl's handling of my warranty claim.

My Parkside lawnmower developed a fault before it was even one year old, despite being sold with a 3-year warranty. I reported the issue within the first year and provided all requested information, yet over four weeks later I am still chasing a resolution.

I received conflicting information from Lidl and the warranty provider, was unable to speak to anyone by phone, and spent weeks receiving automated responses instead of meaningful updates.

The product may have failed, but it is the poor communication and lack of ownership that has made this experience so frustrating.

I raised a complaint regarding cat food, which over a period of 1 week & changing batches, my cat could not seem to keep down (he had been enjoying this product for over 1 year). Initial care from the store was good, refund issued and the batches were sent to head office. An email of receipt was sent to me with the promise to revert. 3 months later and no communication from them. They then had the audacity when I queried what was the result of the complaint was that "it was dealt with internally & then closed"...! Not at all bothered about advising the customer of the outcome! So it looks as though a complaint dissapears into a vat or something to be totally ignored until the customer asks for an update. Oh dear..

If I could give no stars i would, just back from Lidl in northwood santry, one checkout open and self-service ones only take card, I had only cash on me as did the guy behind me, I had 4 items he had one item, everytime someone needed help on the self-service the girl on the checkout had to leave and go over to sort it out, the queue got longer as this happened 4 times while I was there, then eventually a worker comes over and opens up the other checkout and these 2 guys at the very end of a long queue gets checked out before all the customers that have been waiting for ages, disgraceful service, done going in there after this, they need to treat their customers with a bit of respect in that shop,
