I am an Engineering Consultant and I have been looking at a business opportunity through Knightsbridge Commercial and the service has been very good. Lilly Fryer has been my main point of contact and she has been excellent: quick to respond, clear in her communication and always happy to chase up extra information from the client on my behalf.

I sent over a long list of detailed questions covering intellectual property, monthly trading figures, accounts, handover and price expectations, and Lilly came back with full answers and the supporting documents. Nothing was too much trouble and she kept me updated throughout.

The information provided has been well presented and easy to work with. I used this company a year ago on behalf of another investor. It was great then and it is great now too. They maintain good standards and help both parties amicably. Very happy with the service so far and would recommend them.

I dealt with Knightsbridge for some time now and I must admit I like the interaction with their staff.
Yesterday I interacted with Lilly and she was very helpful in arranging a call with a business owner. She rang me and in a very polite, yet professional way scheduled a time that worked for me and for the other party.

Our experience – please do your own research before committing
I’m leaving this review based on our personal experience with Knightsbridge Commercial, as I feel other business owners should be aware of what happened to us before making a decision.
We were asked to pay £10,000 upfront to market the sale of our business and to have a brochure prepared. We were given a valuation that we felt was significantly higher than what the business could realistically achieve.
We were also disappointed that the agreed asking price was not clearly advertised, which resulted in people contacting us who were looking to buy the business for considerably less than the price we had agreed. This led to timewasters and made the process very frustrating.
We also felt that we had to do a significant amount of the work ourselves to try to generate interest and move the sale forward, despite having paid a substantial upfront fee.
Based on our experience, I would strongly advise anyone considering using Knightsbridge Commercial to carry out thorough due diligence, get everything agreed in writing, and make sure you fully understand what the upfront fee covers and exactly what price will appear in the advertising.
This review reflects our personal experience and opinion of the service we received. I hope it helps other business owners make an informed decision before committing to a substantial upfront payment.

Excellent service and a very proactive mediator

We recently bought The Nest Day Nursery, and Sara Manville ( Knightsbridge Commercial) acted as the seller’s agent, helping to mediate between us as buyers and the sellers.
