Purchased a defective sofa. When returned under the Consumer Rights Act, they maliciously abused eBay's partial refund system to secretly stole £101. I had to appeal to eBay's fraud team to force them to return the stolen amount. Unethical and dodgy business practice

website easy to use with clear details. Great customer service. Followed up with a call to discuss furniture and delivery time. Which could be delivered very quick! Sent me extra pictures and videos of the furniture even after sale as I requested. Delivery guys arrived and set everything up and also moved the sofas round to see best placed. Cleaned up packaging and left. Absolutely great service and deal from start to finish. Thanks - will come back

Professional and friendly service. Great quality furniture at brilliant price. Very helpful and polite service. There was no messing about when it came to booking delivery or waiting for the furnitures arrival. I am very pleased with my purchase and on its arrival it actually looked better than the pictures. It was well wrapped up and the delivery men brought in the house for me and offered to unwrap the armchair for me. I would definitely use Joseph James again and certainly recommend. Superb!

The delivery was by far the best I've ever had.
The driver and his mate, were such helpful,courteous men. They brought the bed into the house and even put it into the bedroom and put it together for me. Brilliant company that I will recommend to everyone.

We bought a couch last year and loved it, so when the team called to advise us that a matching 2-seater became available we didn't hesitate. The five-stars are totally justified. The first couch was kept safely in the shop for weeks as we we awaited renovations ro finish, and the second the delivery had to be rearranged due a funeral. In both instances the team went above and beyond. I highly recommend Joseph James Furniture.

Arrived at the stockport store on Thursday 11/06/2026 to view a corner bed suite for our caravan to replace the original ones . After the salesperson showed us to the one we had seen on the website.
I precieded to measure the sofa to make sure it would fit in the caravan and after measuring twice it was perfect with just 3 inch to spare. Delivery was so quick on Sunday 14/06/2026 text messages and phone calls to keep us informed upon arrival. Small issue on trying to enter the caravan as the corner unit would not fit and had to go back to be separated and returned and fitted today 15/06/2026 .
We are now so comfy on are fantastic sofa bed which Joseph james excelled on there customer service and there amazing staff from sales to delivery drivers and customer service team .
This has been an experience which other companies need to follow and if you need some furniture this is the place to go for amazing prices and fantastic service.

I received such helpful service from the beginning to end. I am elated with the item I bought, a leather winged arm chair. They helped from reassurances on condition, price and delivery.
