I told him to cancel my reservation- instead he ran my card for over $1k
I spoke with Jesus Adan. I told him to cancel my reservation. He then told me that it already processed and was not refundable because it was same day even though it was JUST booked. He also assured me that my reservation was for 2 double beds, turns out, he locked me in for 2 TWIN beds. Highly unsatisfied. He also told me it was the direct reservation department at the hotel and that he wasn’t affiliated with a third party booking company like booking.com or Expedia, etc. turns out, he WAS a third party booking company. When I finally got a hold of the hotel directly, I was told that there was no way to process my refund through the hotel and that I needed to call them to cancel. I have now been on hold for over 10 minutes with no results. He ran my card for over $1000 and just said “sorry, there’s nothing I can do.” He told me it was the last room available- when I talked to the hotel directly, I was assured they have plenty of rooms available. What the heck kind of service is this?! I just want my money back. I am not serenely frustrated and will never be using this so called “reservation department” ever again.

Deception
The whole transaction, first I thought I was speaking to someone at the actual hotel from the number I dialed. Then, after Arnie checked for the availability of the dates, he says they had the double bed room and one king size room left. I said ok reserve the double, then he asked for my credit card #. I was under the impression that I was giving it to reservation/ hold the room like I do when I travel using other hotels then pay when I get there. He did ask do you want to go ahead and reserve the room I said yes. Afterwards I said I’m originally from VA and if people knew I was there they would be more than happy to open their home to me. I proceeded to ask what is my window to cancel this reservation? That’s when I was told oh you’ve already paid for the room. This was a prepaid so the funds instantly was taken out of my bank. When I realized what happened, I called back hours later my concern was I still have bills that need to be paid so I ask again I need to cancel this reservation. I was told no but I could get a voucher I asked what’s this voucher supposed to do? Because by Arnie taking that money out and didn’t disclose that this was prepaid until after, it really have sent me back from the lie and the deception has set me back for the rest of the month.

I was charged $197.09
I was charged $197.09. I thought I called the hotel since it was the name of the hotel that I clicked on with a number that had the same area code! When I got the hotel I found out it should have only cost me $90. For the room. And unfortunately I could not cancel the room because of the site it went through. Way to scam people! The guy at the hotel told me to call a direct number to make my reservations next time. Not his fault I was charged so much.

Not being crystal clear about…
Not being crystal clear about cancellation process. We were billed over 500.00 dollars for a room that we canceled 3 days before our reservation. Not once were we informed of a 7 day cancellation policy. We were part of a party of over 20 people. If we knew we were going to pay for this room we would have offered it to other people in the part.

After taking a deeper look into your reservation, I see that it was booked as a pay-at-hotel reservation, meaning that we did not charge your card since the hotel took care of charging your card. Therefore, since the charge to your card came through the hotel, any refunds will need to come directly through them as well. I was in a very stressful situation in booking my niece a room because her airline had canceled the flight. I live 1 1/2 hrs away and I was not able to get back to Atlanta to pick her up from the airport. The lady who helped me really went above and beyond to book her a room for tonight. Every room she looked at was getting taken while we were talking but she persevered and found me a room for my loved one that was stranded at the airport. All I can do is thank her and the Good Lord.
