Homebase - Woking Arvostelua 

Easy to order online, easy to collect in store - all ready and waiting in a trolley to just wheel away. And the price was good - beat all local garden centres and matched Amazon!

I didn’t like the fact that no staff at all in the outside part of the store to help with pricing of terracotta pots ,no price tickets or signs on them . No one inside where lawn mowers were but four or five male staff inside leaning on counters talking on the phone . Hard work

Ordered for click-and-collect…. Then found out item was not in stock (error on website). The team did locate the item, but in another store…. And offered some compensation…. But store was an hour away… so not ideal.

Ryan very kindly helped me find a solution for a missing element in a flat pack piece of furniture. He was very nice, approachable and accommodating and offered a great pragmatic solution. Five star service and a great customer service experience! Big thank you to Ryan!

Excellent service! In and out in 5 mins

Homebase is abjectly INCOMPETENT for click and collect. A not 'fit for purpose' service. Due to stock availability had to order door handles from a store one hour round trip away (Woking). NINE in stock. Discounted clearance item, 3 door handles in a pack, 6 handles total. They'll be fitted this week to new doors. When I got there they tried to fob me off with two single packs. Two handle pairs. Then, apparently, even though they're clearance items, their supplier had supplied single packs. And, even though system shows 9 single packs, he couldn't let me have 6 packs because they only had those two in stock. That's it. That's all they can do. Computer says no. So, sorry, but tough luck customer. But this isn't the first time they've done this to me. Sickening waste of my life. I cancelled my entire order. NEVER order online from these. Unless you live next door to the store & enjoy wasting half hour with people who don't know what they're doing.

But wait there's more. I had a second order too. The non-clearance, full price bathroom lock they were going to give had torn package, peeling cardboard & fixings missing. They were happy with that. In addition to that, before they gave me the correct product they brought me the completely wrong product (a pack of two round escutchion plates instead of the thumb turn lock...I guess they were both the same shape and shiny metal.

And...more...this time in-store (in Bracknell). I bought single, switched mains sockets, with rounded edges. And pattress box to mount them on. There was no way to check if the two fit together before buying due to the packaging. They don't. The square & round edges look awful. But guess what? They don't sell pattress boxes with round edges that match...there's more such silliness, but my time is too valuable to expend any more energy on them.

Quick and easy to buy and reserve on line. Went in and collected at my leisure. The staff on collection were extremely helpful and a pleasure to deal with, as usual.

Still waiting to be told that the purchase is I'm the Woking Store.

One click and collect pot severely damaged. No-one available to help. Wandered back and forth a couple of times to replace pot myself. I'm not very mobile.
Couldn't put other goods into basket due to red plastic locks on items.
No-one available to open them. Appalling. I'll try not to return. Other companies encourage customers.

Ordered four shelves - ok.
When I picked them up I inspected them before leaving the store - three damaged.
Assistant went to the store and got three more - checked again and all ok.

Worked out in the end. Assistant was great.
