Great service and attention

Had some difficulty in locating a specific paint colour in the correct size tin but Cameron came to our rescue and not only found exactly what we wanted but also pointed out it was buy one get one half price which was perfect.
Top marks to Cameron for approaching us rather that us having to find someone, a credit to the store!
Also worthy a mention is a Linda on the checkout who was friendly, quick and very professional……thank you to both for a great experience

Good service

On a recent visit to the Gateshead store I received excellent assistance from Callum, who helped me with some large bags of soil. The staff are always happy to help.

Helpful and friendly Alex

I visited the Team Valley store and spoke to Alex who was on the till. She couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. She took her time to help me and others around her.
Will be back to see her!

Customer Service


I love your garden centre offers,and your reduced plants that I can nurse back to health.
I'm usually served by Robson in the team valley store.
He is always pleasant and has a smile for everyone, and if he's not to busy we'll have a chat about gardens.
He is a lovely man and a huge asset to the company.
( can't find the order number on my receipt)

Wrong label caused delay

My purchase had been picked but had a different name and order number on the label. It was sorted by a helpful member of staff so, overall, pleased and would use click and collect here again

I needed a strimmer reel and weed…

I needed a strimmer reel and weed killer Brian B took me straight to the product and found the correct type I needed. Even offered to carry the weed killer to the till. That's what I call customer service. Keep up the good work Brian B

Smiley Robson!

Every time I have been into Homebase recently, Robson has been on the till. He is always so cheery and smiley, and is always happy to have a chat. He makes the whole experience so much more enjoyable!

Excellent service

Called in to get some compost at 19:30 which I know is a rubbish time when nearly closing but honestly couldn’t fault the staff. David was so helpful and friendly and made our experience quick and easy. Thank you David

Fantastic Team Valley

I visited the Team Valley shop where I was met with an outstanding level of customer service. David &Ben were exteemely polite, efficient and such a pleasure to talk to. Thank you lads for making it such pleasurable experience.
