In general no real negatives other than the submission system could really do with a bit of modernisation.

They Don't make things clear
They Don't make things clear . I was advised I could book Treatment only to be told later that It had to be performed by a certain dentist with a certain GMC certificate and not a GDC Of course how silly of me not to know they aren't accepted . I booked as my local dentist couldn't perform the procedure? . Otherwise I wouldn't of gone private. Extremely Disappointed and Obviously out of pocket !

I’ve only been with my new employers…
I’ve only been with my new employers for about 5 months and I can already enjoy these perks. The claim was easy to do once I got the hang of it, now I’m just waiting for the money to arrive in my account.

I have been a member of Health Shield since 1964and during that time can honestly say that I have never had any difficulty with any aspect of the service provided. Information requested or searched for on line has been fully provided. When speaking to the claims department in particular I have always met with sympathy when appropriate, and politeness.
I have no hesitation in recommending Health Shield.

Horrendous
Horrendous. Never had an expense claim approved in the entire year I was with them, despite submitting many. They are very strict on receipts. One was rejected as my therapist had the wrong qualification. She had a level 3 in Lymphatic Drainage Massages, and the claim was for a Lymphatic Drainage Massage.
