Complete lack of customer service
I bought a Miyaru Easyfit Light Shade from Heals for £129. Once it was up and the light was on, you could clearly see how badly the glue had been applied. It's messy and really spoils the look of the shade.
14 Sep: I emailed Heals with photos of the issue. No reply.
18 Sep: I emailed again asking for an update. No reply.
21 Sep: I finally got a reply, apologising and saying my original email "did not come through to us". They agreed there was an issue and offered either a discount or a return, but didn't say what the discount would be. I asked, and heard nothing back.
23 Sep: I asked again. Nothing.
28 Sep: In case there was a problem with email, I sent a message through the contact form on their website. Also ignored.
30 Sep: I rang them and explained the whole thing. The person I spoke to didn't apologise and didn't seem bothered. She was keen to suggest the problem was with my emails, even though I'd had a reply from Heals and had also used the contact form. I was told someone would get back to me and would probably call to check I'd received their reply.
1 Oct: End of the day and still no email or call.
This is a simple issue and Heals has had plenty of time and chances to rectify. I really didn't want to have to write a negative review just to get it moving, but here we are.
