Very Disappointing Service
Booked a consultation (Birmingham, Erdington branch) and they cancelled twice in two days 30 mins before someone was due to visit us. Then someone came on the 3rd attempt, took the measurements and promised to send over designs within 48hrs. Now its been 6 days and we've not heard from them. Very disappointed!

Alls well that ended well … in the end .
Everything was great up to the point our fitter didn’t turn up and I was sat waiting for 2 hours with no one contacting me.
I in the end had to ring to find out why and no one had an answer which then worried me , as we pay a large amount of money up front.
Everything did get sorted and a new fitter booked in 2 days later and he was great, quick and friendly and he text day before to check everything was ready.
I am very pleased with the quality of the wardrobes and the updates before hand no complaints on that score … but that’s why you get 4 stars not 5 just because of the blip on fitting day .

I didn’t receive what I was expecting
I didn’t receive what I was expecting. We had drawing and design illustrations which is what we based our order on. I contacted customer service and got quite a rude reply. See below:

home office order.
I can confirm that your account has been reviewed and I am
sorry to advise that on this occasion we will not be taking
the query further.
Please note that the pictures shown on the plan are for
illustrative purposes only and are intended to represent the
design concept.
I understand this is not the response you were hoping for,
and I am sorry that on this occasion we were unable to meet
with your expectations.
Hammonds are not a cheap product and I expected a personal response not a generic reply

Shocking service
The measurement and fitting service was all perfectly fine but the rubbish collection and customer services were truly awful. We were called back and assured the waste collection would take place by 6.30pm on a certain day. Nobody turned up.
Next day we call CS at 9am and are promised a call back within 30 mins. Nobody calls for 2 hours. We chase again and get told very rudely by Eva that she emailed 3 times but didnt hear back. We suggested she call and initially she said no there was no point. We have been forced to rearrange a professional clean meaning we’ve lost over £300 on a deposit and she refused to consider covering this even though Hammonds service failed us. Then we said to cancel the rest of our order (a second set of cupboards they havent even measured for!) and she refused. We pointed out the call was being recorded and that was illegal and suddenly she changed her tone.
She finally did call the waste people who promised they’d be on site by 12 and so far it’s 12.30 and nobody is here.
We have a newborn and a young child and because of this total failure by Hammonds theyre either sleeping in a dust ridden environment or we have to spend money on a hotel which is equally disruptive.
Will never use again and never recommend. Spending thousands to be spoken to with disdain and disrespect and total refusal to help solve problems. A disgrace.

Room Design
Michele is the best designer I have ever met! She provided us with all the possible designs to suit our needs and was incredibly helpful throughout the process.
We are still moving forward with her, and I absolutely love her designs. Hopefully, we can proceed together and make our plans a reality.

The installer Steve O'Flynn was amazing - unfailingly punctual, professional and very methodical in his work. He also went over and above to help me when things went wrong: he - and I - were let down by the mistake of the surveyor in ordering the wrong worktop. Customer services were unsympathetic to my request to expedite the production of the replacement part, and were it not for the input of Steve with the office, and his willingness to drive to the depot to pick up the replacement unit himself as soon as it was ready, the issue would not have been resolved to my satisfaction. The whole experience was excellent
The whole experience was excellent from organising the initial design visit through the process of measuring and detailed design to the installation. The initial visit was great because the designer was able to maximise the use of space. This was then further improved during the measuring and detailed design when minor things like the curtain valence was taken into account. The installer did a very quick and neat job so that we had our room back earlier than expected and were able to get our carpet back down a day early. Top service!
