I was recommended the GOTO Group by a friend and I dealt with Harry Caitlin initially to get a survey booked in. He went through each level of survey and within a week it was booked in. Katie Wilcox-Smith completed my survey and the report was ready to view just the day after - which is amazing! As we are first time buyers as you can imagine the survey looks quite scary but Katie was more than happy to spend her time explaining each part of the report to me which really put my mind at ease. Everyone at GOTO group is really easily contactable and it never felt pushy or like they wanted to make extra money, they were just happy to help. I would highly recommend. They also do price match (within reason) which is a really great feature although they were one of the most reasonably priced on the market anyway!

I dealt with Joe who arranged a level 2 survey for a property we are purchasing and the service was excellent. He answered every question perfectly and is very swift with responses which is ideal when dealing with a lot of other admin and paperwork with the moving process. Myself and my partner are first time buyers and have found the house buying process quite overwhelming, especially after previously pulling out of a house purchase due to issues discovered in the survey.
Our mortgage adviser recommended Goto. I received a call back from Goto and a quote quickly. They were able to essentially match another cheaper quote I had received. The survey was booked and arranged with the estate agents within a day of paying for two weeks later. Andrew Silverthorne conducted the survey and we received the report a few working days later.
The report went into good detail and included pictures of the property.

I booked a survey with them and paid right away, they then emailed me saying they got the fees wrong and it was actually more than double what i had already paid them. I immediately asked why and they couldn't tell me. I then asked for a refund so i could book elsewhere and they took 3 days to get back to me and ask for my details to process the refund immediately, to which i responded promptly and I didn't receive my refund as promised. I am currently still chasing them for my money.

Very pushy trying to sell something you don’t have to have and didn’t mention that it wasn’t necessary. Didn’t like that at all and put a complaint in straight away still awaiting refund.

Just had a pleasant call with Joe, who helped me with booking my level 2 Survey. Very helpful and efficient - made all the difference.
