I contacted GOTO Group regarding a Level 3 survey for a property I am purchasing, and I have been extremely impressed with the service so far.

In particular, I spoke with Sophia, a Home Move Consultant, and she was exceptional. She was incredibly pleasant, professional, and knowledgeable, and had all of my details ready at the outset of the conversation. She explained the different survey options clearly and patiently, while managing to strike exactly the right balance between explaining things thoroughly and never making me feel that I was being talked down to.

One thing I particularly appreciated about GOTO was the fact that they didn't continually chase or pester me. They initially contacted me by text and then simply left me to get in touch when I was ready. When I eventually called, my details were already on file and Sophia was able to pick things up immediately. That combination of being available without being intrusive is something specific about GOTO and something I really appreciated.

Sophia was extremely well-spoken, patient, and knowledgeable. She somehow managed to explain everything as though I had no prior knowledge, whilst simultaneously treating me as someone capable of understanding the detail. That's a difficult balance to achieve, and she did it brilliantly. Everyone knows that buying your first home can be a very stressful time, but Sophia made this particular experience seem straightforward. She is a credit to GOTO Group and deserves every bit of recognition she receives.

I haven't had the survey carried out yet, but based solely on my experience with GOTO so far, I have been thoroughly impressed and would have no hesitation recommending them.

Lewis Hall was incredibly helpful and efficient. Sophia was very informative and gave clear details when providing quotes for our survey. Also a very simple booking and payment process.

The level 2 survey provided was below par.

1. Left clear instruction regarding access to loft as it needed to be arranged via estate agent. They didn't bother contacting the estate agent and thus didn't survey the loft.

2. They missed an enormous hole in a ceiling. I'm not kidding, it's about a foot wide and plainly visible. Their excuse was they're not allowed to move things, apparently that includes opening a door.

3. I tried to rectify the situation, with Goto, they took a long time to respond, decided I was wrong, despite clear evidence, and refuse to engage after. I now have to report the surveyor directly to RICS.

GOTO surveying were great. There organised my level 3 house survey in a very professional manner and went through all of the survey procedures in detail, they liaised with the agents and vendors of the property very well to ensure a smooth process.
The surveyor ' Kishor Gohel' has completed a very comprehensive survey and an excellent detailed report, Kishor has spoken with me on the telephone to explain different aspects of his survey and report in order for me to understand everything. I would highly recommend GOTO surveyors and in particular my surveyor Kishor who has provided an excellent service.

Joe was very welcoming and explained everything perfectly. Following up the next day he was quick with responses and polite throughout. Process was all done in a good time frame.

I have now used GOTO Group twice for a Level 2 Homeowners Survey and have been really pleased with the service each time. Special shoutout to Joe Sweetman who was so helpful and friendly while getting me a quote and organising a survey recently.
