Poor Quality Control check
Poor Quality Control check. Pea Coat sent with obvious and annoying pull wool mark which just hit the eye line.
The sizing chart for submariner jumpers is way way out.
In addition, appalling turn round time for exchanges.
Need to be far more dynamic in your dealings.

Over 2 weeks and no coat
I ordered a Peacoat on 2 December 2024 from Gloverall's website. I emailed the company on 13 December asking when I could expect to receive it. They didn't reply. I emailed again on 17 December with the same reasonable question. There has still been no answer. So it's been over two weeks since I placed the order (and the money was taken from my card) but neither the coat nor a reply to my emails has been sent. This is very poor.
UPDATE: It is now 20 December, 18 days since I placed the order, and yet still not received and no reply to my emails trying to find out what's going on.

Lovely coat
Lovely coat, really nicely styled. I ordered the A-line longer duffel, which is a neat fit so go up a size if you're between or need layers underneath. The Navy is stunning - may come back for the Camel next year. Feels good to support a UK industry and buy well, once.

I prodotti sono davvero belli e di alta qualità, tuttavia, dati i prezzi elevati degli articoli e il costo dei resi dall'europa (circa 140 euro a carico del cliente) il servizio clienti dovrebbe essere più attivo e rispondere alle richieste di aiuto. Ho speso 500 euro per una giacca che mi sta grande e per sostituirla dovrei spenderne altri 140 senza la certezza che la prossima possa essere della taglia corretta o del modello che desidero. Non credo farò nè consiglierò altri acquisti sul sito della Gloverall.

I apologize for the delay in receiving a reply to your email. Since you didn't include your email or order number, I cannot check when your email was sent and when it was responded to, so all I can say is that we have been very busy during the winter season so far which is great for business, but it slows down the rate at which our Customer Service can respond since they are getting so many emails and calls they have to work through.
Regarding sizing, we have size guides for all our products on their webpages with the key measurements so you can determine which size would fit you best. It isn't possible to determine the fit better without trying the coat on.
As for your return, unfortunately, it's our policy that we don't cover shipping costs for returns or exchanges for Non-UK orders. I understand that the sizing might be irritating, but without trying it on you can't be certain. The fit of the first coat should've at least given you a better idea of what coat you might need.
I'm sorry to hear that you wouldn't recommend us, but thank you for your review.

Bad customer service, Black Friday scam
First of all, the quality of the coats and accessories is amazing,BUT the customer service is very bad. It takes ages for them to reply and for my second order they didn’t reply at all to my email which was about a delayed item which created more cost for me.
The worst thing I saw was that the prices in the site were increased during Black Friday sales, so that with the discount the price would get back to the initial price. This is shameful.

Regarding the Black Friday sale, I assume you are referring to this year's sale. The prices didn't go up. If they were on sale then they were reduced and if not they stayed the same. If there was something that you saw with an increase price then it would have been an error.

Great piece of clothing (Churchill peacoat) but came in covered with dust and white sewing thread pieces. Not a big deal, however I did spend some time cleaning my new peacoat with a brush and sticky rolls.

Duffle coat
I received my Monty Duffle coat, safely and soundly packaged. It was everything I was expecting.
Still not clear what the 2 buttoned,webbing straps on the inside of the coat are for though.

Great jumper, mediocre customer service and packaging
I am very pleased with my new Fisherman jumper in grey. However, it took three tries back and forth to get one that was not flawed with a different colour wool. The first two in the Burgundy colour were spoilt by random pops of bright orange! I gave up and ordered the jumper in grey instead, which I have kept. Customer Services make promises with fine words about reputation and pride but then woefully under-deliver. Packaging is hit and miss. The grey jumper was protected really well in a plastic bag, then a paper bag, wrapped in soft tissue and delivered in a box. The Burgundy jumpers were stuffed straight in to a paper bag only, which arrived ripped. I thought that this was extremely poor protection for an item of clothing costing over £100 and said to me “Gloverall don’t care about their products or their customers.” So only three stars for a great jumper that Gloverall made extremely difficult to purchase. Oh and I hope you are not in a hurry if you request a refund…Gloverall say it can take up to 28 days to process it!

We apologize that it took three attempts to get you a jumper that you wanted. The Burgundy Fisherman Jumpers have lighter flecks as a side effect of the dyed material, so we can't help that.
As for packaging, our usual packaging is to place the folded jumper and relevant paperwork inside a brown bag sealed with branded black tape. Usually, that is enough to protect the jumper because they are thick enough, but in your case the packaging was ripped while in transit and I'd assume them being "stuffed" inside might mean they had fallen out after getting ripped and pushed back inside.
Regarding the refund. Our usual window is 14 days, starting from when you receive the delivery, though it rarely takes that log. That window was extended for the Christmas. The 14/28 day window is a maximum that it could take, but usually we can process them quickly after receiving them. That changes based on how busy we are which is why we leave such a window. Your own case is a good example of this as your orders were dispatched on the 1st, 15th and 29th of Nov.
The extra packaging of your grey jumper was done because of the previous issue.
Regardless of these issues, I'm glad that you were able to receive something you liked in the end and once again, I apologize for the difficulties you suffered.
