Went to buy a corner sofa today and was met by Ahmed an absolutely fabulous gentleman who helped us throughout our visit but was never pushy, left us to browse at our leisure but was there in an instant if we needed anything. He made our experience really pleasurable and joked and smiled throughout. Ahmed was kind,patient,friendly and also extremely professional, would highly recommend and we bought a fantastic sofa as well. Thank you so much Kathryn

Furniture Village retail stores offer no return policy whatsoever — not even an exchange. Their website advertises a 14-day return window, but this only applies to online orders and is not mentioned anywhere in-store. This distinction is not made clear at point of sale, which I consider misleading. I purchased over £2,500 of furniture in-store and have since found I have no way to return or exchange any of it. Extremely disappointing for a company of this size, and I won't be buying from them again.

It’s all fun and games when you’re buying furniture, but once they have your money, the customer service is a completely different experience.

I spent around £9,000 here because the staff initially came across as friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. During the purchase, I repeatedly explained that I needed to leave due to the parking restrictions because I didn’t want to overstay.

Jeremy, who was assisting me, reassured me several times by saying, “Please don’t worry about the parking. If you get a ticket, we can cover it, and we have the authority to cancel it.” Those were the exact words I was told.

Trusting that reassurance, I stayed to complete the purchase. What should have taken no more than two hours ended up taking much longer because Jeremy repeatedly left us to assist other customers while we were waiting to finish paying and leave.

A few days later, we received a parking charge for overstaying. My mum returned to the store to explain what had happened, but instead of trying to help, the staff were dismissive and showed little interest in listening. We were simply told there was nothing they could do and that it was our responsibility.
My experience after spending £9,000 was very disappointing, and the level of customer service once the sale was completed fell well below what I expected.

Our visit to the store today was excellent. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and supportive throughout our experience. A special thank you to Jason, our sales consultant, who was absolutely outstanding. He was kind, patient, and genuinely attentive to our needs.

Jason showed us all the sofas we wanted to see and went above and beyond by bringing coffee tables from different areas of the store so we could see how they matched with our chosen sofa. His dedication and willingness to help made the entire shopping experience enjoyable and stress free.

The store had a warm, vibrant, and friendly atmosphere, and our order was processed quickly and efficiently. We also appreciated the complimentary coffee during our visit, which was a lovely touch. Overall, it was a fantastic customer experience, and we would highly recommend both the store and Jason's exceptional service.

I had an issue with 2 of my Cantilever Dining Chairs and Billy sorted it out quickly and professionally.
He explained the whole process clearly during our phone call — arranging the replacement, sending the ETA by email, and organizing collection of the faulty ones on the same day as delivery.

Bought a sofa in January 31st 2026 and it was delivered in March. When it was finally delivered and the plastic taken off, the headrest had a scratch on it. The delivery man, Lewis took pictures and sent to customer care. We waited and then went back to the store to say to Ahmed that no-one had contacted us. He assured us that someone would come to 'paint' the colour on the scratch and receive compensation. We kept calling and we visited the store again and Paulina said to my husband someone would contact him. My husband said the gentleman said he was going on holiday and would come with some who had the equipment to fix the headrest. 2 weeks in July, nothing. I called the number my husband had and Shaq told me he is not the one to do the work and we need to contact customer service. We are paying for a product that is damaged and nobody cares.
