We made a return trip to check out the furniture we liked. The Senior sales consultant James Bailey instantly recognised us and acknowledged our presence. There was no pressure or pushiness from him. The purchase was made with simple effortless ease.

Charlie, the lady salesman, was very patient, attentive, not pushy and seems a lovely person who obviously knows the products you sell very well and is a very good communicator.

Sam Chapman was really helpful, when we met him in the store the other weekend he was very professional and knowledgeable. We then phoned him up a week later and placed the order, again, nothing but professional and helpful. Not over pushy either! Thanks Sam

Lots of choice and good quality furniture, purchased G plan sofa and reclining chairs plus a Hypnos mattress and we are looking forward to a bit more comfort.

Visited furniture village to find a few furniture items and was pleasantly surprised by the shop. The set up is lovely and with the help of Charlie we found everything we needed. She was really helpful, and made the shopping experience fun and painless.

Ordered both 3 and 4 seater sofas, and bespoke marble dining table with chairs. The table and chairs were hand built in Italy by some other company and shipped across and took 7 weeks which was brilliant. Fantastic product and worth the money. The communications with the movers was also great. The 2 sofas which are built in the UK took 16 weeks. They were advertised as 16-18 week lead rime however the salesman in the Cribbs Causeway store was adamant that this was not the case and would be more like 11 weeks. When they did arrive during the unpacking where the 2 halves meet on the 4 seater there was 3 jet-black marks (very prominent) which looked like axle grease. This could only have happened where they were assembled before shipping. The sofas are light stone in colour so you couldn't miss it. The 2 delivery men had the sofa care kit and spent probably 45 mins or so dabbing the stains out. Big shout out to the delivery guys - they were brilliant (Geoff and Pete). They managed to get the stains out in the end. They were efficient, careful not to mark carpets etc and very good at what they do. If it wasn't for them and getting the stains out this would be a 2 star rating. There should be some sort of quality control before sending out items for delivery. My opinion is someone had to have seen those stains and just ignored them. Furniture village do some great products but 16 week lead time is too much when your being told different. I would use FV again but NOT the Cribbs store. The salesman was full of it (you know who you are).

I dealt with two members of staff over a couple of days and both of them were so helpful. No pressure, just gave us assistance when required

From the moment I arrived, she was friendly, welcoming and completely professional. She really knew her products inside out and explained everything clearly, giving me all the information, options and figures I needed without ever making me feel pressured.
Shirley was patient, knowledgeable and genuinely helpful throughout the whole process, making what could have been a difficult decision feel easy and enjoyable.
If any of the management team happen to read this, Shirley deserves a pat on the back, She is an absolute credit to Furniture Village and provided some of the best customer service I've experienced in a long time.

Very nice and amazing customer

Excellent sales to delivery service. We were impressed that the sales team went above and beyond by moving the mattress onto the floor of the showroom to replicate our harder bedframe surface. They even provided a selection of pillows to try. Nothing was too much trouble. Great finance options available and all clearly explained. The delivery team were great! Rob and David delivered our mattress with care and even let us keep the giant box for our kids to play in. They turned up exactly when they said they would and were very careful with our new mattress. A great experience and we would definitely recommend them.

Charlie was lovely and very knowledgeable, she was patient and very helpful when we were choosing the colour and also helped us with measurements. She made the process easy and enjoyable.

I would strongly advise against buying a bed from Furniture Village based on my experience. The bed delivered to my home was of noticeably poorer quality than the one we were shown in the showroom.

I purchased a bed on 9 April 2026, which was delivered on 7 May 2026. Within four days of delivery, I reported several defects, including a misaligned ottoman frame, poor stitching and stretching of the headboard fabric, stains on the headboard, inconsistent quality of the bed feet, and a mattress that has still not fully expanded despite following the installation instructions.

Since reporting the faults on 11 May, I have contacted Customer Care, visited the Leeds store, emailed the General Manager, and dealt with the Customer Experience team. I have also provided the requested batch label and all the information they asked for.

Despite nearly two months of emails, phone calls and repeated follow-ups, the complaint has still not been resolved. Communication has been poor throughout, and I have repeatedly had to chase for updates myself. It feels like nobody at Furniture Village has taken ownership of resolving this issue.

The final straw came yesterday when I was told that the manufacturer was only prepared to replace the headboard. My complaint has never been limited to the headboard; I reported faults with the entire bed from the beginning. After waiting almost two months, this is simply not an acceptable solution.

The most disappointing part has been the customer service. My family and I have purchased several items from Furniture Village over the years, but this experience has completely changed my opinion of the company. I am still making monthly payments for a bed that I do not want to keep because of its poor quality.

If this is how Furniture Village handles genuine complaints about faulty products, I cannot recommend buying from them.
