I went in on Sunday browsing for cars
I went in on Sunday browsing for cars, I met Dee, he was wonderful. Very patient, very helpful and gave me everything I needed to know about the car. With Dee’s help I ended up with a brilliant package deal on my car, I even had the car on Tuesday. It took Dee a day and a half to get my car sorted out for me and I couldn’t have asked for a better person to help.

Easy to view a range of cars with no pressure and no salesmen following you around. Once we found a car easy to buy…just let them know at the outset that you don’t need all the added products and you know how you want to pay for it! E mails not responded to but all requests carried out on pick up. Fully charged for our journey home. Easy, efficient handover at pick up. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Purchased car
After the purchase of vehicle, found error (SatNav had been de-activated and hence non-functioning) - FoW had not completed their pre sale checks properly. Sales assistant told by their sales manager that other than arranging a return (which would leave us out of pocket by a significant sum) they would only offer a contribution in form of small refund - £100 - after we would need to source and pay for this fault to be corrected (which can only be done at specialist VAG dealer). No apology. Very disappointed and left with car which was NOT as advertised.

Good staff and service but bad sales process
I am very pleased with the car, it's presentation on collection and price. However, the sales process was awful. The sales advisor was friendly and helpful but clearly had to follow the company process. I was forced to sit through a sales pitch of general insurance and finance products that I said I had no intention of buying, nor did I initiate any request to discuss them, before even being able to go on a test drive. I would have expected this conversation to have been done once i'd decided to purchase the car. The advisor completed questions on the forms without asking them to me, in particular saying I was considering using the dealership finance service which was never the case. Forms appeared to have been signed electronically on my behalf, I assume from codes I had to provide during the sales process. The process was not in the least customer focussed, it is forced on the customer and any consent they think they had is invalid as it was not fully informed, nor freely given. Thankfully the collection process was very quick and efficient. I understand that commission from selling additional products is an income stream but customers should be the given the choice on whether they want to engage in this process and not be forced to sit through it.
