Absolutely spot on. I turned up with the intention of buying and leaving the same day with a car (which is surprisingly difficult to do these days). The whole process took less than 2 hours. I am now a happy owner of a new car. No faffing, all as expected. I am a happy man.

Went viewing a car I had seen online &…
Went viewing a car I had seen online & the staff at the reception desk were very helpful, putting a reservation on the car, sorting out keys to view it & being able to take it for a test drive. I was then passed to Maya Smith from the sales team and she made the purchase as smooth as it could be, there was no added pressure to make any additional add ons or extra warranty purchases and was just an overall welcoming experience. The sale was complete in about 15 minutes with no waiting around.

Couldn’t have been any better
I purchased a car previously from FOW but the Winsford site and had a great experience so looked for a new car with them again but at the site in Trafford. The staff were attentive and friendly and made sure I was looked after. I was given the keys and given ample opportunity to check out the car by myself. Once I’d made my mind up I was helped by Geoff, who was brilliant, to get everything arranged including a part-exchange. I only had to wait a couple of days before I could pick it up but on collection day Geoff contacted me saying there was a chip in the windscreen but he would make sure it was sorted with a brand new windscreen at no extra cost because it was only right and I would get a car in the best condition it could be in. This only delayed collection by one day and when I did go to collect I received the same great service and attention again! So I will definitely be getting my next car from them which will make it three for three.

The whole experience was superb.
We recently bought a used Kia Soul car from Fords of Winsford and part-exchanged our old one, and the whole experience was superb. Alex was our first contact and set the tone, Ellie made the buying process easy with a helpful, unpressured approach, and Matt handled the part-exchange fairly and without fuss. Compared with other car sellers we’ve dealt with, Fords of Winsford service and range of vehicles are the difference between night and day. We travelled 450 miles and spent over nine hours getting there and back, and it was absolutely worth it. Highly recommended.

I came in on Monday looking for a new car, I was seated with Robin who was lovely, very knowledgeable and easy to chat too. Robin answered every question we asked and showed different options for the cars and was open and honest about how each car will work with me. Although we just went to view we ended up buying the car there and then! When picking the car up today I was with Lucas, he was efficient and apologised for any wait we had, he too was talkative and humorous with us and still very professional. Beware
Bought an Audi A1 from FOW for 16k in April. Also an RAC warranty from them. Second car I have bought from FOW and it will be the last. Car had 25k miles on it and only put another 2k on in last 6 months. Developed a radar brake fault and fuel filler cap refused to open after less than 6 months. Took it to a garage under the warranty where it is obvious it has been in an undisclosed front end bump. Warranty does not cover cost of repairs and it has been off road for nearly 2 week awaiting repair. FOW not interested, won’t even cover part cost of repairs. Spent over 30k with this mob in last 5-6 years, more including warranties. Don’t use them. After sales appalling and no interest once they’ve had your money.

I was sold a mazda 3 by Tyler he was very clear and friendly throughout the sale and gave me a good deal on my part ex and he didnt push the optional extras that i didn't want he was great. As fpr the dealership it was very clean and organised and the general manager made an appearance to ask of we were happy or wanted any changes to be made to the environment he listend to what we had to say and when we came back to pick up the car the changes had been made. Very impressed overall and see why people use this dealer

PCP commission
The staff would rather lose a cash sale than risk selling a car without their PCP commission. They used scare tactics and gave me unsolicited incorrect financial advice. An awful experience and I wouldn’t recommend anyone look here.

A Disappointing Experience
**A Disappointing Experience – Fords of Winsford**
I recently purchased a car from Fords of Winsford and, whilst I’m pleased with the vehicle itself, I have to be honest and say that the overall customer experience was disappointing.
My journey to the dealership took around four hours, and I had been advised that a member of the sales team would collect me from Winsford train station on arrival. Unfortunately, I received a text message to say they were tied up with another customer. As it was raining heavily, I decided to arrange an Uber to the dealership instead. These things happen, and I was happy to accept that as one of those unfortunate situations.
However, things didn’t improve much once I arrived. I was informed that my electric vehicle had not been charged overnight, despite being told beforehand that it would be fully charged and ready for my journey home. I was advised that I could go to McDonald’s and return later, and was even offered a complimentary coffee from the onsite café!. However, neither of these gestures addressed the underlying issue. Ultimately, I had to leave the dealership with very little charge remaining and find a fast charger to continue my journey home.
What made the experience particularly disappointing was the large sign on the wall next to where I was sitting with the sales executive, which read: “Nothing beats that new car feeling… It’s Epic.”
Unfortunately, my experience could not have been further from that statement. Buying a car should be an exciting and positive experience, particularly when you have travelled four hours to collect it. Instead, a lack of preparation and poor customer service took away much of that excitement.
I appreciate that dealerships can get busy and that unexpected situations arise. However, ensuring a vehicle is charged and ready for collection, particularly when the customer has travelled a considerable distance and relies on that charge to get home, should be a basic part of the handover process.
I’m not looking to be unreasonable, and I want to be clear that my disappointment is with the service and preparation rather than the car itself. However, Fords of Winsford missed an opportunity to make what should have been a memorable day a genuinely positive one.
Sadly, the car purchase was a much less enjoyable experience than it should have been, and I hope Fords of Winsford take this feedback on board to improve the experience for future customers.

Ensuring a vehicle is prepared and ready for its new owner is an important part of our handover process, and we appreciate that this was particularly significant given the distance you needed to travel home. Having to arrange additional charging immediately after leaving us understandably took away from what should have been an exciting experience.
You're absolutely right that collecting a new car should be a memorable and enjoyable occasion. We work hard to deliver that experience for every customer, and we're disappointed that we didn't achieve this during your visit.

I would have given 5 stars but we weren’t advised we needed to pay the deposit as a bank transfer instead of a card until we arrived to collect the car which meant we had to return the following day, I also found the waiting area grotty.

We're sorry, however, that some aspects of your experience fell short of expectations. We appreciate how frustrating it must have been to arrive to collect your vehicle only to discover that the deposit needed to be paid by bank transfer, resulting in an unnecessary return journey. This should have been communicated more clearly in advance, and we'll be sharing your feedback with our Sales team to help improve the handover process.
