I visited the Ford Service Area at Essex Auto Group, Kent Elms, Southend, having damaged and broken the near side door mirror on my car. I was greeted by Amanda Crisp, who checked the damage. Amanda ordered the door mirror saying it would be received the following day and be ready for fitment. The following day Danielle Crisp at the Service Bay arranged for it to be fitted by an Engineer. He also kindly offered to clean the casing to remove black marks. In all, first class, prompt, attention to the issue was given. Thank you to Essex Auto Group for acting promptly. Keep up the good work!

Sadly we came to Kent Elms on clearly the wrong day. We wanted to look at a Kia. The chap that came out just couldn't be more rude or less helpful if he tried. His whole demeanor was one of rather being anywhere else than there at that moment. After being largely ignored we persisted as we were really interested in the car so we tried to get a test drive. The process took ages at the end of which he shut my partner's driving licence in a drawer, even after getting all the details and a photocopy, when we queried that, and asked for it back, he threw the driving licence at her. That was the last straw, we had to leave. He made us feel like 3rd class citizens even though we had the cash to pay for the car in question. Not only has it put us off Essex Auto Group its put us off getting another Kia in general (we already have one) the Toomey Peugeot dealer seemed really friendly in comparison.

Our company purchased a nearly new Ranger MR-ST.
The whole process was very good, Fords Rayleigh commercials, had to arrange collection from Slough for viewing.
Dominik was very helpful in every aspect and his communication skills and knowledge of the vehicle was very re-assuring ! Happy to do with business with Domink and the team at Rayleigh again !
With that said we are overjoyed with the vehicle.

After sales support does not exist, I have a split in the wall of the tyre, accused of doing this my self by the sales department, although no damage to my alloys. Funny that. Deep scratch in the paintwork and had to take the vehicle back to have this touched in. Two visits at my own expense. Second visit for the tyre no resolution. Apparently as the sales person stated “ I’ll play devils advocate here and you could have split the tyre on a curb” yes well it could blow out at high speed but it’s ok, it’s only my life and others but not yours? They are happy to take your money but after that your on your own. Absolutely no service and no interest in you as a customer. If you want hassle and phone calls not returned, treated with contempt and just want to feel like you’ve been robbed by cowboys then go ahead and give them your money. Plenty of other reliable and trustworthy providers out there, even their Ford head office have the same attitude. The vehicle was collected after it had been raining so I wouldn’t have seen the tyre issue, yet here I am now wondering how it passed their own MOT assessment ? Although this experience does bring back fond memories of Arthur Daley from Minder. Always trying to turn someone over for a sale. Thanks guys I’m so glad I put my life at risk caring for covid patients to feel like I’ve been turned over by you.

After purchasing a brand new van and a used van from Kade at the transit centre I can safely say we was treated with respect and courtesy through the complete process. Both vans where presented to us clean and ready to drive away with no problems. I could not recomment Kade and the team any higher

DO NOT BUY A FORD FROM ESSEX FORD RAYLEIGH!
so this is my first ever and last ever car i will buy from these! i bought a ford fiesta and 6months later it broke down, had it recovered to another ford garage and they found a fault. i got told i had to send my car 200 miles back down to essex to have it assessed there. they had my car 48 hours and phoned me to tell me there was no fault and a sales rep (YES you heard right the SALES REP) took my car on a 45 min test drive and apparently no fault! not even a mechanic? 8 months later still the same issue with loss of power and a concerning whirling noise coming from the engine, the car got recovered back to my local garage to find the gearbox had collapsed and malfunctioned! the car is a 2017 plate and 20,000 miles on the clock so yes unexpected and is unheard of! the team at essex ford rayleigh have proved useless, dont want to know and laughed at me down the phone! poor customer service! the extended warranty that i have on the car has proved near on useless as its going to take 2 weeks for an engineer from the warranty team to come and look at my car then decide if there even going to do the repair under warranty and then the time to fix my car. also it takes the warranty company 10-21 days to process payment back to ford so ford are refusing to release my car back to me untill payment received! im having to go without a car for nearly 6 weeks! the company are refusing a courtesy car for the mean time also so i am now without a car! ive been backwards and forwards with no-one wanting to help. had an urgent email sent out to both managers which neither responded.. ive had to personally contact 1 manager who cant even be bothered to deal with it and giving me aload of rubbish over the phone. the warranty i was sold i was told i could use at any garage, straight forward, the same as manufactory warranty, stress and hassle free and courtesy car included...NONE OF THIS IS TRUE! you have to pay the repair costs and claim back off the warranty company, its nothing like manufactory warranty, its constant stress and backwards and forwards and they DONT give you a courtesy car until the assessor has been out and confirmed they will fix under warranty and the courtesy car is only while they are fixing the car and not while its sat on the forecourt! i have took the matter up with The Motor Ombudsman who is dealing with my case at the moment, the customer relations and a solicitor! i think its safe to say i will never spend my money with this company again as once they have your money they dont want to know! also dont expect a call back as they will never get back to you! they will go above and beyond for you to buy the car but once transactions complete its like you never existed! fraudulent company, false advertisement and mis sold warranty's! also a £1,870 repair bill!

Dealt with Kade in purchasing a used transit. Drove away in it not even a week after putting the deposit down. Communication was very good.

Kade at Raleigh Ford was amazing, really helpful, always replying quickly and took loads of time to explain all the features on the van. He even came in on his day off to make sure he personally handed us the keys.

Recenly bought a Ford Campervan from Kade at Rayleigh, who was knowledgeable in answering all my questions and dealt with the sale process very efficiently. An excellent experience from start to finish.

My Kia Carens has had an intermittent whistle for a few weeks.
Had to wait three weeks for a service
Yesterday it went in for a check up.
The last thing the car had done was an air con service about 3 weeks before the whistle started.
A few hours after I left the car I got a call. Problem identified. Blocked fuel filter. Also my car needed a 40000 mile service.
The car was only serviced in November. 3000 miles ago. How come when they rang to tell me I was overdue a service didn't they suggest I had the 40000 mile service done.
Because they follow service interval guidance
Anyway they replace the fuel filter as part of the service so it will clear the fault.
I told them a blocked fuel filter would at best reduce engine power but more likely stop the engine. I was told the mechanic new what he was doing. Replacing the fuel filter would fix the problem. Also if I didn't have the service done my warranty would be invalidated.
As far as I am concerned Essex Auto Group are guilty of fraud.

Had my new van delivered on Monday that was ordered through the Rayleigh branch. Excellent service from start to finish and would definitely use again. Kade was very helpful and always prompt at returning any emails/calls. Highly Recommend
