Entered store in Columbus Ga, literally had older saleswoman brush past me as she was stocking items, no excuse me or anything. Not asked if i wanted a room started and had to ask for one. Never checked on while in dressing room. They noticed me leaving and asked if I hadnt found anything. I told them I would have asked for another size but no one every asked. All three huffed like I was rude. Your store was rude. How far they have fallen.

I made my first order since they changed their policies on being in their frequent buyers "club.." with reward points etc. and wanting you to get their credit card in order to keep getting free shipping. Time will tell. If they are like some of these other places where your only option is order online they will start increasing the shipping rates and will stop honoring exchanges where they waive the shipping. These places operate brick and mortar buildings that are miles from where a lot of customers live and then when you make the drive to return something they don't have anything for you to try on in stock so you have to gamble again on the size. I don't mind that if they waive the shipping but sometimes they don't.
Never Order Chicos online-
I placed an order online and got an immediate confirmation a week ago. Upon calling and asking what the status of the order is, the customer rep shared that the order was assigned to a store. Apparently it's voluntary if the store chooses to fulfill the order. The poor rep is apparently trying for the past 10 mins to get the store to share status of the order (prob don't have it anymore). Will NEVER order online again - this is an awful workflow. Macy, Talbots, etc never has a prob getting items shipped.

I don’t need another credit card! I use one to get miles for flights esp in my job.
I’ve been a Chico, Soma and WHBM customer for many years and had free shipping! Not anymore unless I USE THEIR CREDIT CARD? I’M DONE! Disappointed yes, as if forced to - like a child as no more free shipping! Ha and Synchrony? Same as Target’s credit card company which messed me up thru my PC Banking at BofA?
And I’ll add - watch their sales esp…prices which are reasonable or on sale go up and down lIke a roller coaster? Esp slightly older merchandise! They used to have great sales but sneaky now! Plus I get too many emails from all 3 - more than once a day! Crazy!
I’ll be bowing out sadly as a long previous customer from all 3 - Chicos, Soma and WHBM. I don’t like their new management plus takeover - it’s downhill time - watch store closures etc in the future….it won’t get any better as per same of many other stores that I adored are gone. Order not received.
I ordered a pair of pants and received an email stating that they have been delivered, however, they are no where to be found. Chicos told me that I could order and pay for another pair and they will expedite the order. I already paid for an order that I did not receive. Why should I have to pay again? They should just send another pair.

Placed an order on March 7th it took 6 days to ship it.delivery date is March 22, i called on March 12 to cancel because I will be out of town by then.
The customer service didn’t help at all, they haven’t process it yet, do not understand why she was not able to cancel it
The package will be in my door step for days before I go back.
Faulty garment
I bought a full price jacket in October. Worn three times now the zipper has broken. Chicos refuse to repair, refund, exchange. Their online agent was rude and cut off the chat. Extremely disappointed in non-existent customer service.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Once they get your email address they will inundate you with spam, despite about a dozen requests to unsubscribe. BEWARE that they have no respect for an unsubscribe request and the latest emails have an unsubscribe button that no longer even works. Guess they can't be bothered with that. I will never ever buy from them again, despite the fact that I love the clothes.

My rating is for Customer Service, it used to be great until they moved it overseas. The people I talked with have a heavy accent, cannot understand the problem and will not do the simple solution to fix it.
I recently ordered a jacket that was shipped, however per the postal service my package is being held because Chico’s didn’t pay enough postage, I pegged them at customer service to contact the postal service and pay them,but they refused. The item is out of stock and they can refund my money in 2 weeks, however I will loose half of my money was paid by rewards, so I will loose that. It is shameful that they have no understanding to simple solution

I haven’t gone to Chicos for a long time since I’ve moved to Montana, but I decided to go at the Southgate mall in Missoula, Montana. The three ladies that work at the Chico store in Missoula their names are Anna, Wendy, Carol are fabulous. Their demeanor is welcoming and kind and very helpful. They know their inventory and are extremely valuable when it comes to making you feel at home and comfortable while trying on clothing. The jewelry selection and the clothing is top-notch and they truly know how to make you feel valuable. About a year ago back there were a couple of gals at the store that weren’t as welcoming and made my daughter and I feel unvalued and uncomfortable when we entered the store. They were unkind and rude, when all we wanted to do was spend our money on quality clothing so we didn’t go back for over a year and when we came to store 543 we were pleasantly surprised and happy that they got new management. The manager Carroll is one of the most delightful women to work with and Anna and Wendy are very helpful and kind as well. I highly recommend this store 543 in Missoula, Montana.
I ordered a dress with beading
I ordered a dress with beading. As I handwashed it the beading began to fall off. Even as it was hanging to air dry. I called customer service and there were 84 customers on the line ahead of me. When I finally received a call back the customer service representative was not friendly or helpful. I explained to her that the quality I was below standards. And was met with there was nothing she could do. I asked for some kind of refund and was offered a credit toward my next purchase. And I would have to call and wait on hold to have them apply the credit. For the prices they are asking I would think the quality of the product and customer service would be better.
They say "free returns"
They say "free returns". Then when you process the return they tell you they deduct $7.00 when received. Hmmm. I had two returns, asked politely if I returned in the same box, could I save on a $7 return fee. NO!
Jewelry turns dark.
The clothes are very nice for older women, but they are expensive. The jewelry doesn't hold up. I have several pieces and had to stop wearing them due to discoloration of the metal. They turn dark.
Longtime customer - marketing dishonesty
I have been a Chico’s customer for 30 years. It was my fav go-to. I’m incredibly disappointed with my last 2 orders. I shop their clearance because I’m in The Peace Corps. The “cart” shows the sale price as 50% off plus the deal of spend over $200 and get $50 off (this deal ends tonight). I put 12 items in my cart totaling $299. But when I checkout the price of each item is almost double what the cart shows. The total being over $100 increase. The last time it happened. I couldn’t see the total before I paid. I was upset then because I paid almost $200 more than I was shown. Chico’s would not cancel the order. I thought maybe it was a glitch so I shopped today. At least I can see that the total is an additional $100 to what my cart shows and I could back out before I paid.
This is disappointing and unacceptable.

Purchase ! They send me the wrong item!! Ordered a dress. They sent me a sweater !!
I had to return it , then they tell me dress is out of stock !! Still awaiting for my refund from 12/8/25 order !! I keep calling and they say oh I will expedite the refund blah , blah, blah !! I have shopped at Chico’s for years !! Will never purchase another item & will share my horrific experience !! Get your acts together !!

This store in my opinion is fabulous. I ordered on line and had to do a return and rather than mail I opted to return in store. It was the store in Sioux Falls, SD. The sales associates were over the top helpful. They not only made my returns easy with the refund done immediately but assisted me in finding perfect items, sizing, everything necessary to complete my outfits. I highly recommend this store and my online shopping went without a hitch. My online items were delivered earlier than anticipated. Their clothing line is top quality, beautiful fabrics and love the trendy styling. This will be my first stop for clothes shopping.
Customer return
Received a broken necklace. We i called India I couldn't understand the man on the phone. I am responsible to find a ups store drive there defective necklace to it. If I wanted them to send me a replacement they wanted to charge me again. I buy online for the convenience not extra work and charges.
