Channel 4 Arvostelua 

I sat through the initial 5 mins of adverts, then watched the first part of the programme,then it moved to ...continuous buffering. Eventually I stopped the app, started it again and pressed resume, more eternal buffering.
Restarting again led me to 5 more minutes of ads, followed by.....more eternal buffering, then I gave up.
A truly appalling app and channel 4 do nothing about it. It is a sad indictment of a pathetic company.

I was wondering if Film4 would like to borrow some of my old DVD's because they are clearly struggling to show anything new. Films are just repeated over and over again. Used to be good but seems they have given up. A Christmas Carol on 4th October and today (18th Oct) Jingle All The Way. How desperate! No wonder people switch to subscription channels like Netflix. Can the last person out of the Film4 building please turn off the lights!

Catch up service breaks down frequently often with no way back to where it cuts out.

Without doubt the worst streaming app ever. Constantly hangs after playing adverts and returning to programme.

This is undoubtedly the worst app I’ve ever used. It’s 2025 and the app still doesn’t load or allow you to fast forward without totally buggering everything up and having to turn the tv on and off again. Shambles

It's pretty much unwatchable now. The adverts are as long as the program time. Really bad viewer experience.

The whole exsexperience with Channel 4 is wholy entertainment and engaging

Just about 90mins of MAFS to watch where actually, its about 60 minutes due to the colossal amount of adverts. Every stop, theres 4 minutes to sit and die of boredom over. Not interested in anything that is advertised. What a joke this app is.

Continually having to re launch app several times in a single programme. Freezes or error. Thankfully I only watch 2 programmes on all 4.
Soooooo frustrating

Utter shit transmission. Pile of adverts and the programme jumps back to the beginning as if watching reruns. Crap. They seriously need to outsource 😉

Channel 4 showing their greed, adverts were fine but now they have introduced pay for ad free it seems like they have ramped up the amount to try and get you to subscribe. Most likely to lose A LOT of viewers rather than get everyone to subscribe, cost of living high enough right now thanks...

For God’s sake cut down the advertising time. It’s getting longer & longer and believe me it’s counter-productive. People are either switching over or recording and cutting out ALL commercials !( ps: Having just read other reviews it’s obvious that people feel the same regarding adverts ! DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT OR YOU’LL LOSE ALL VIEWERS EVENTUALLY ! )

Have watched all seasons of Great British Bake Off but this series I lasted one episode. They now have a combination of director and editor who think it makes great entertainment to limit each camera shot to one second. It does not! It makes for a dreadful experience. Literally makes you ill to watch. Cannot imagine what possessed the producer to hire these self- indulgent people who want to make it all about their technical fireworks rather than allowing people to appreciate the contestants and their bakes.

PHIL - The most ignorant ingenuous, arrogant, dislikable individual! I loved the duo on LLL until I sat at a table in a restaurant beside him in Pto. Andratx Mallorca. He was rude, aggressive in the extreme - Absolutely NO sense of humour. I asked him when leaving how he liked this 'Location L L?' He told me to F....k off! Nasty! Do these 'D' listers not appreciate - they are entirely dependent on their viewers financially?

I haven't watched channel 4 in the morning for years but since retiring have the time now. I cannot believe they are still playing Everyone loves Raymond, Frasier, King of Queens and all the VERY old rubbish from 15 years ago. Do us a favour and put something more up to date, this really is embarassing!!!!

The BBC but with adverts and more nudity content. There's so many adult content on their channels. Shows about dating whilst naked or people talking graphically about sex. Who exactly is this for? It's not porn but its about as close as you can get on public TV. Is this for people who haven't discovered adult content on the internet yet?

Their news programs are pretty much as left leaning as the BBC. Case in point when Trump won the 2024 election one of their presenters swore and stormed off stage, not to be seen again at all during their 4-5 hour long program. You can find clips of it on youtube if you want to see it. Why do I use this as a key point? Well it's for an election that won't have any impact on 99% of brits. Only the crazy lefties in the UK had this reaction. There were also some news reports that they had to offer therapy to some of their staff because the USA (a country they are not based in or live in) voted for a president they have no stake in. There's the other ususal nonsence from left leaning news programs like calling people "far right" who aren't far right. Not providing any info or examples on why they think they're far right. And also cherry picking news stories to cover that are only left leaning. E.g no actual investigation into why people are putting up flags in England in mid 2025. Step one would have been to actually interview someone in the know instead of just brandishing them all as racist. It's not difficult to do, in fact I've seen youtubers do it. Perhaps that's the new media, since there seems to be more integrity there these days....

Film and adverts do not match up with the soundtrack which is behind of which is been spoken. Very annoying

They've started putting ads on screen when I pause an episode.
I don't want to see some D lister with hair plugs advertising gambling whenever I pause what I'm watching.

Is it just me? Or is there NOTHING funny about anything on this terrible programme?

You can tell how little they care about the site almost immediately. Unintuitive, awkward and annoying to use. It's like they want to encourage piracy.
