Can't even play adverts properly. Terrible streaming experience. Constantly freezes and crashes .

This app is awful. It constantly freezes which can only be resolved with coming out of the app and restarting.... several times each episode.

So frustrating it puts me off watching anything.... except grand designs cause its not Kevin's fault 😅

Low level fraud.

You pay for ad free and the number of commercials increases.

Ch4 App is unreliable. It keeps preventing play saying it cannot be played on secondary screen. One day it does this, the next it works fine so utterly inconsistent. It also says it when I'm not casting to a TV which makes no sense. What's the point in buying great programmes when the tech is so bad you cannot watch them. Get your App team to work better. I have tried to get tech help but they don't seem to now how to fix this.

Really annoying when they only add the SIGNED version of a movie just because it's obviously originally been on late at night, you'd think they would also make unsigned option available surely this isn't difficult or even more expense. Just went to watch the movie 'Trance' only annoying signed version surprisingly I'm not watching it now.

The recent drama called Summerwater was awful… how anyone thought it was worth filming is beyond comprehension! I’m surprised that some acclaimed actors even got involved but guess money is money!!
Gave up half way through episode one and recorded the remaining episodes. Then tried, in vain, to see if got better but it didn’t. It’s put me off watching any further CH4 dramas now… thought CH5 were bad!

Aren’t we a little bored by this relentless ‘raising awareness?’

It isn’t as though Charles is at the mercy of the National Health service, so we absolutely AREN’T in the same boat.

If you ARE reliant on the NHS you are in serious trouble and will need to be far, far braver than the King. Your chances of surviving are far, far less rosy than the King’s. And you probably aren’t insulated by significant personal wealth, either.

So what does Charles have to say to us that we would want to hear?

Incidentally, I’m not a republican or an anti-royalist.

I’m just phenomenally bored by this endless parade of royals and celebrities under the impression we want to hear their ‘message’.

So, for this Christmas, just for once, can you please stop talking?

Do not try to watch anything live with channel 4. You will miss it. I tried to watch the F1 and missed the start of the race and only started watching it after moving to Sky. Just stay away from channel 4 its really bad.

Channel 4 streaming app is dreadful constantly pausing, buffering for 20+ seconds at a time. It is better watched via Sky but on my TV app it is not worth watching. An episode of Countdown takes an hour to watch!

As everyone says, every ad break takes 4 minutes, with buffering between every ad and before the return to the programme. I can't watch it.

In a 1 hour news report on 19 Nov, 15 minutes was AI generated rubbish

Being someone with a chronic illness I can't always watch things live or even all at once. On demand options were the perfect solution for me to watch when I am able.

My problem is channel 4's app has become a paid service. I am only getting a few episodes of what I want then you now need to pay to see the rest.

Unfortunately, Channel 4 doesn't provide enough quality content to make that worthwhile.

As a result, I no longer watch Channel 4 as it is not accessible to me.

Today's problem with C4's appalling 'catch up'; sound but no picture. Like many people I have issues with the BBC, but then I think of a world without it – only commercial channels like C4, who have little interest in programming and care even less about its viewers, whose sole focus appears to be to cram as much advertising into its live feed and platforms as possible. A dire future.

Really shocking app, very poorly created, poorly built. Out of ELEVEN devices in our house it won't run properly on any device.

I like to skip ahead sometimes when watching a show on catch up where it's just boring filler, and every time I click the 10 seconds more than a couple of times it gives an error message, which makes me have to reload the page and then the episode starts over to I have to remember where I'm at. Don't have the 10 seconds option if I can't use it without it messing up. Also the screen occasionally goes fuzzy or green blur over the episode that doesn't happen on other sites.

The new Jasmine Harman program has reached new depths of boredom and utter rubbish by C4, supposedly about a renovation project in Spain it appears to be about her and her family, 2 and a bit episodes was enough for me.

The app is good and has some good shows but not loads and I appreciate it’s free which means I tolerate the ads and like seeing how long they are however some ads are insensitive for example ads for cancer charities as they show people beating cancer which is hard when you’ve just lost a family member to it

The channel 4 app is that buggy that when I went to turn it off after it CONTINUALLY froze every few minutes, the program continued playing when I turned a different app on all together. So I ended up literally turning my TV off because it had froze the tv and guess what... The app was still playing. My TV was fully off and the program was still playing. My TV was black and the red light on, signifying the tv was off so why on earth was it still playing. I had to physically Unplug the TV and restart it. Something very concerning about this app and I will not be using it anymore.

It is the worst streaming app of all of them. Constant buffering issues. Relentless adverts. You try and back out to reload something due to endless buffering and it hits you with more adverts. It's terrible. It's always been terrible and continues to be terrible. Sort it out!!
