Channel 4 Arvostelua 

I paid for a year of 4+ and told them I did not to pay the following year. They stopped my 4+ immediately and for five days I have told their help line about the problem. Every time I contacted them (each day) they would speak to their accounts but they would not do it whilst I was on the line. I am told they have it all in hand. I think the help line is odd, I think 4 have an overseas contractor managing the line (cheap).

In Flight. Hit and miss as a few episodes were a bit far fetched especially the one in intensive care. Acting great and hoping from episode 4 things improve

How does the Channel 4 app get more than 1 star? It's beyond hopeless.
I have been trying to watch In Flight, but when the actual episode starts after endless adverts, it freezes.......so you wait and wait, then you have to start again.......watch endless adverts, it freezes.......so you wait and wait, then you have to start again.......watch endless adverts..........

Easily, easily the worst TV app I have ever experienced. 4 and a half minutes of adverts every time you open a programme, sometimes inexplicably repeating meaning you have to sit through NINE MINUTES of adverts just to start watching something.
Then an absurd amount of adverts throughout the programme itself.
On top of that it frequently randomly freezes during the programme or the adverts, meaning you have to exit and restart - and guess what, that's ANOTHER 4.5 minutes of adverts to sit through again!
Almost comically bad.

I have been registered on this website for many many years. I received an email recently, that I have not watched anything on the site for 2 years, and that I have to log in and watch something if I want to keep my account.
I did.
I logged in, and then I watched a 2 hour documentary within a week time from the first email, eventhough I am very sure that I have been watching this or that on it in the past 2 years, but perhaps not in the past few months.
Oh did it do any help to log in and watch something for 2 HOURS? In about 10 days time, I received THE SAME EMAIL AGAIN.
Threatening me to lose my account if I do not log in and watch something.
I checked at that time, and my account even showed up on my history that last 2 hour documentary I JUST WATCHED FEW DAYS AGO!
At that point, I thought better to ask for help.
So I wrote them for help, used their very own website to ask for help.
What they do?
Without actually reading my issue, and looking at the real problem, they advised me: to log into my account and watch something, so I won't lose my account.
I REPLIED TO THIS EMAIL patiently and nicely, although it was VERY CLEAR that they have failed to acknowledge their ERROR and/or trying to help me also.
However, I have got no more reply and now I am locked out of my account.
I do not use any app, this is all through their website.
I don't know what's their problem, but I could definitely not recommend Channel 4 to anyone after all these complete nonsense they are troubling me with.

I don’t even make the time to write reviews but god let me tell you this is a horrible app. 6 ad breaks during every episode. (4 minutes long) that’s more than regular TV. Every time you pause an ad pops up. I’ve never seen a company so desperate for advertisement. Must mean money is tight for these stupid developers.

This app is genuinely utter trash , the amount of adverts makes watching a programme that i am really enjoying impossible to sit and watch… the adverts just dont stop !!!! How can anyone find watching TV like this entertaining.. hence deleted and done with !!

If I could give it 0 that would be a more apt score. I can't rewind, can't freeze unless I don't want to and then it easily freezes and if I do press the rewind button I get rows and rows of programme code superimposed onto whatever I'm watching. It is then impossible to remove this even if I turn the TV off and back on again it is still there.

Bad. Constantly goes off even with perfect Internet. Worst streaming app & these low reviews prove it. Glitchy , slow, never loads. Have to always turn router on & off

Channel 4 is the worse streaming channel for putting on endless adverts it's worse than watch American TV... You spoil all good shows and make me not want to steam my favourite shows.... Stop with Sooooo many advert breaks it's so unnecessary

The Channel 4 app on my TV is genuinely one of the worst streaming apps I’ve used. It constantly freezes, crashes mid-episode, and sometimes won’t even open properly. I’ve tried restarting, reinstalling, and updating nothing helps. It’s frustrating to the point that I can’t watch the shows I actually want to see. Channel 4 really needs to invest in fixing this it’s unacceptable in 2025.

I’ve just tuned in to channel 4 and I cannot believe what I’m seeing. A programme called (1000 men and me)with this prostitute Bonnie Blue. Why are Channel 4 promoting this sort of stuff. Channel 4 must be run by nonces and perverts. Seems to me that they are trying to promote women disgracing themselves. #Channel 4 needs closing down they are DISGUSTING.

Really annoying loud music so you cannot always here what the presenters are saying. Why not just have speech. The constant recap after adverts, unless you have lost your memory most can remember the story for 2 minutes. On a positive really love Sun, Sea and Selling houses. Hurrah for the Garners my favourites, and the Rodrigues family, not keen on the newer families though.

Constant repeats, its SO boring , ive left reviews on so many channels in regards to the sane programmes on every single week same films its a joke, and we only need a tv license for these types of channels so im seriously thinking of cancelling my tv license due to the constant garbage and just watch netflix or youtube or play my ps5 , TV IS ALL TOTALLY BS

Their website is absolutely dog shit, also why the hell is there 30 ads in each movie.

App always plays up. Stops working halfway through programmes. If you fast forward anytime its hard to get the programme restarted. Seems to be the worst player out of all the tv channels .

Absolutely unbelievable.
They have given the millionaire Lorraine Kelly a travel show.

This is surely a good example of tin eared executives.
The actress ( for tax purposes) Kelly has had her day. There are now to many other ( good) platforms to watch.
Q why did her show get cut. Ans falling audience+ ad revenue. Channel 4. Wake up and smell the coffee.

Need endless email addresses for their endless signing in requests…

Worst app ever try to watch a film is a joke. Adverts constantly freezing and you constantly come out app and return forage same thing happens. Absolutely useless streaming service .
