Cellucity, Cavendish - watch out!
My experience with Cellucity in Cavendish Square has been extremely disappointing. I would recommend avoiding them. We needed to replace the screen and battery of my daughter’s iPhone 10 and got a quote from Cellucity for ‘original’ replacement parts. Turned out there was a mixup and we were told the quote was for an original battery but generic screen only after installation. After much deliberation we went ahead on the basis that the screen would be just as good and they’d extend the 6 month warranty by 12 months. 3 months later the screen has a bright band across it and the iPhone is unusable. Now the story is that the phone ‘must be physically damaged’ (despite no visible damage to the screen) so the warranty doesn’t cover it. Yoh!

On Friday, 24 March I took out a contract at Cellucity in Canal Walk. My boyfriend and I had so much fun during the process. Wahid was so helpful,friendly and no question was too much for him. Taking out the contract was not tedious but an actual pleasure, it definitely didn't feel like "just business". Thank you for the great service :). Manager neglecence Cellucity bedford centre to…
I went to Cellucity bedford centre to trade my samsung Note 10 for an S22. This phone within a week of whatsapp calls it would overheat and the battery didnt make it past 12h00 in the day. I was on my way on holiday and could not return the phone. When i spoke to Andrea Harrington she advised me to bring the phone in. Id like to add that it took them 4 hours to transfer my info the first time. This time she claims to have checked a back up on Gmail only for it to go to Vodacom repairs Fourways where they cleared my phone back to factory settings. I HAVE LOST 10 000 photos that I have collected over the last 15 years. And all i get is a "sorry". This is absolutely unacceptable. I want a formal response and efforts to assist me in trying to retrieve my photos. How would she feel losing all of her information if google only uploads 15GB. I trusted her as a manager to know what shes doing and due to her neglegence I have lost ALL my photos. Im trully disgusted with the service wanting to put the blame on me.
I would like a formal letter and consequences taken against this neglegence.

I bought a phone on the 16th of September even now I haven’t received it. When I try to contact them they give me other numbers to contact which I can’t reach. They don’t even reply my emails.I went to the Grove mall three times asking for help, they don’t even bother to try to help me. I got a bad service, I lost my money that I don’t even have. I no longer want the phone I want a refund, but how will I get it if I can’t get reach them. They scammed me 🙌🏽

If it was possible to give them no stars I would have gladly done so. No problem with their service but their advertising is misleading. They advertised a 64GB phone and when I got home and checked it, it was a 32GB phone. And now they blame error in the advert. Refuse to take it back and want to give a SD card which I declined. I am not interested in the phone. Be careful when you buy from them.

They went the extra mile for me throughout this process. It is quite rare today to find this kind of exceptional service! They are a credit to you and your organisation. I will unreservedly recommend your store in Melrose Arch to friends, family, and colleagues. Issue resolved - very good response from the team
Waiting now more than 4 weeks for an answer after sending a phone back after ordering it online.
Worst experience I've ever had is shopping online with CelluCity. The online and in person dealings of this company are COMPLETELY seperate. They send you back and forth if you have an online query and the online side does not respond to emails and the number shown on their website just rings.
I spent a good chunk of money for a phone and now it's somewhere and I have received no confirmation whatsoever. Very bad.
Update:
This has been resolved and I am so thankful to Cellucity for the way they responded. The phone has an original battery now with 100% health and they even gave us two free phone covers!
Updated my rating as well, as these things do happen from time to time and the way they responded was great.

If only I could give less then 1 star. I have been trying to get a contract st the Tygervalley branch for over a week now. No one calls you back. When you call them they make you feel like you are bothering them. I have even spoken to the Manager Justin, who promises to personally call you back but that did not even happen. Sales Assistance just making excuses why they have bothered to call you back.
They are advertising a contract for 2 weeks now that they apparently do not have on their system. No effort is being made to assist. Keep pushing the contract price up from R399, to R425 and when i called this morning it was R475, WOW! This is the worst service I have ever received.

Online contracts not honoured: Don't worry, they have themselves covered by their terms and conditions, they will just advertise deals to get customers in but adjust prices as they wish.😡 False advertising in my books.
