I need a new iphone 11 pro battery. I'v been calling every tuesday to talk the the technition for 3 weeks now. First time time they didn't even order a battrey. Only the next week when i called a second time they ordered it. Now today (the third tuesday since I first called) I waited an hour for them to open my phone, only to THEN only open the new battery and see the new battery is broken in the box. Wasting an hour opeoing my phone. They said they would order another battery and the earliest they would have it is next week wedsnday. I have never experienced such lousy service.

We bought 2 BOOMPODS AirTags for R1000 — a complete waste of money. They constantly lose connection, and even after several reset attempts (including by Cellucity), nothing worked. To make things worse, one of the tags wasn’t even rechargeable.
Cellucity refused to refund us, which made the experience even more frustrating. Honestly, if we bought cheap tags from TEMU, it wouldn’t matter — they cost almost nothing. But these cost nearly the same as Apple AirTags, and the quality doesn’t come close.
Will never buy this product again.
I am extremely disappointed with my IPhone 13 pro purchase
I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Cellucity. I purchased a second-hand iPhone from them, and within just two days of receiving it, the screen cracked despite the phone showing no signs of being dropped or mishandled. The body of the phone has no chips or dents, and the screen protector remained fully intact and uncracked – clear proof that the damage was not caused by me.
When I raised the issue, Cellucity immediately dismissed my complaint, claiming the crack was “picked up by their technical team” and therefore outside of warranty. This response was both unfair and unhelpful, showing no real accountability or willingness to find a resolution.
After doing some research, I discovered many other customers have had similar negative experiences with Cellucity’s second-hand iPhones. Unfortunately, I now feel like one of those victims.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Cellucity for second-hand devices. The quality of the phone was poor, the after-sales service was dismissive, and the way my complaint was handled left me feeling frustrated and unheard.

I bought an Iphone XS from them, insured with Vodacom, on my contract, 2018.
7 Years later, upon another upgrade, I requested a repair on the phone (after 7 years of PAYING insurance every Month my first claim ever) only to be told by Vodacom that they put 6S on the insurance document so I am not insured.
The manager SAM is a liar, who did not ONCE return my calls in spite of numerous promises to the contrary.
He told me that there is no such Iphone as a 6S, it doesn't exist. Then he denied that the phone was bought from their store whilst this was clearly visible on Vodacom's system. He couldn't give me proof of purchase because he said they didn't have records..After more than weeks of having the phone and making promises, I was once again told the same story by the Cellucity employee tasked with claims.. Do not make the mistake of supporting them or believing a word the manager says. Stay away

Horrible experience I had a cellucity mall of Africa yesterday on 23/05/2024. I walked in at around 11 to try get a new phone through insurance. The guy told me that the manager walked out 30 minutes ago and he has no idea what time the manager will be back. And that he cannot help as he has no authority to authorise the sale of a new phone through insurance. He further told me that I am wasting my time by waiting, since he has no idea what time the manager will be back, he could be back now, he could be in an hour’s time etc. I decided to leave the store and go get a new phone from woodmead Vodacom, as the other 2 Vodacom shops at mall of Africa were out of stock.

The service was great. Staff was friendly and professional. I went there to get a contract for home wifi after the contract that was being paid for me was cancelled.
I unfortunately couldn't get the contract due to my credit score being too low but i am still amazed at how above and beyond they went to try.
There was no mess and no fuss, i just went into the store, did the paperwork and was promised to be called back the following day. The lady that called me said i could still get the contract with an upfront payment due to being a high risk (which would reduce the monthly cost) and went as far as to give me advice to increase my credit score and exactly how to accomplish this. She even said she would keep my papers so we wouldn't have to redo them next time.
In short amazing service that's professional ,efficient and quick.

Good day, I am highly irate, unhappy and stressed out completely. I bought a iphone 12 Pro for R15k cash on Saturday without knowing its a 2nd hand phone. It stated pre owned I didn't realise at that time what it meant. When I got home I Google pre owned because the phone wasn't looking like a new phone it had marks on. When I realised it was 2nd hand. I took it back the next day which was yesterday (Sunday)explaining them why I don't want it. And would like my 15k cash back in order to buy me a new phone or take a contract out. They informed me they can't give my cash back and I must just take the phone home with me. I was in tears as it was all my money I saved. They promise they will call me at 9am to inform me what they decided they still haven't called, when I called this morning they say they are busy. Im stressed out I just want my money back please.
Rashied the manager at cellucity Kenilworth in has no way of speaking to a customer all he can tell me I will not get my 15k back I must just keep the phone.
I'm sick of this stress how can people do this to people.

"In-Stock" items not really in stock...
Ordered a Redmi Note 11 on 30 June 2023 - product reflected as In-Stock for both available colours, so purchased the grey version. Received a call the following morning to thank me for the order and that the stock would be "sourced", then dispatched within a few days. No other contact at all was received. Fast forward to today, 12 June 2023, could not get hold of them telephonically, so used their website chat function.
Was advised on the chat that this model is actually "end of life" and not available. So it's taken almost 2 weeks to tell me this, with me having to follow up, with them knowing full-well that they never had stock to begin with, nor can they source or order it!
So why show it as In-Stock??? False advertising really, sucking you in, purchasing and making immediate payment. Requested a refund and they said it will be done today - let's see...
