A Seamless, Pain-Free Process
My wife and I bought a new Kia Carnival Platinum in 2019 but now it was time to let it go. We're both in our late 70's, so the thought of going through the selling process filled us with dread. Then we stumbled upon Carsales Instant Offer and decided to "give it a go". The process was seamless: we contacted Bay City Auto Group (Frankston) yesterday; the money's in the bank today. We found the staff at Bay City Auto Group friendly, informative and professional. I have no hesitation in recommending Carsales Instant Offer and the Bay City Auto Group (Frankston) to anyone.

Advertised my 2020 Kia cerato sedan…
Advertised my 2020 Kia cerato sedan with carsales and it got sold in 14 days. It is advisable to pay $48 more for showcase enhancement as it places your ad near the top of relevant search results, rotating above standard and premium ads. Although it drew over 140 views there were 5 serious enquiries, so it depends on your car. I was very happy with the safety of money transfer. When opted in for their carsales wallet they would transfer immeditaely $0.01 into your bank account to assure you it is the correct bank details. Then when buyer agrees to buy and you request payment, buyer transfers into car sales and when buyer releases money the money appears within 15 minutres into your account, so it is absolutely safe.
Private sale through carsales gave me $3000 - $5000 more than 4 dealers. One dealer was very rude when I went back to them a second time to ask for a better offer they said I shouldnt have put on carsales! I also advertised on facebook but there are so many cars advertised I didnt even get any enquiries.

Siew,
We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are glad you enjoyed your experience using our platform to sell your sedan and achieved a significantly better return than the dealership offers. It is great to know that the enhanced listing option provided good visibility for your vehicle and that the secure payment system gave you complete peace of mind during the transaction process. We also note your observations regarding the number of views compared to serious inquiries, as demand can indeed vary depending on the specific vehicle model. We regret the unpleasant interaction you experienced with a local dealership during your selling journey, but we are pleased that our service provided a safe and profitable alternative to trade-ins and social media listings. Thank you for your helpful tips for other sellers and for choosing our services to complete your car sale successfully.

CarSales seems to be the ‘go to’ place…
CarSales seems to be the ‘go to’ place now for used car sales/purchase. This is the second car that I have sold in recent times on here. The first car was a cash sale and that is in my mind the safest form of payment. This recent sale was through the CarSales payment system. I totally trust this system and mores the company behind it. It was virtually instant showing up in my nominated account. The only negative I have, and also happened last time, when I’ve gone to add my Bank Of Queensland accounts into the system they weren’t and are still not accepted. First time I had to use a mates ANZ account but ended up being a cash sale so wasn’t in the end warranted. This time I had a BankWest account that was accepted.

Lawrence,
We're delighted to hear about your positive experiences selling cars through our platform, and we truly appreciate your trust in our payment system. It's wonderful to know that the funds reached your nominated account so quickly. We also appreciate you bringing the issue with Bank of Queensland accounts to our attention. We understand how frustrating it must be to encounter this limitation, and we are actively working to expand our banking partnerships to ensure a smoother experience for all our users in the future. Your feedback is invaluable as we continuously strive to improve our services.
