Britbooks Arvostelua 

Bought via Amazon. Book rated as Very Good condition but has dog-eared corners, highlighter marks and biro writing on 10% of pages, pencil marking on 60% of pages. Arrived 4 days earlier than expected which was the only plus. The condition is not Very Good at all !

Ordered Abba cassette album via Amazon on 21st September and it has never arrived. Brit-Books happily took my money and claimed it was 'dispatched' but Royal Mail records show it was never even handed over to them for delivery. I'm seeing tons of similar reviews with similar experiences for this company.

Going to write the cost off as a learning experience as getting a refund is a major hassle and also other reviews say refunds are promised but never paid.

This is clearly a crooked, criminal company.

Order didn't arrive. No phone number to call to discuss.

Purchased a game and the wrong disc was put in the correct box for the game. Fuming with these clowns!

Books are described at very good condition but a chairty shop would bin them they are very bad condition defects all over definitely not gonna order from them again

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER. Ordered this book for my son's A level course. No book arrived and the tracking number is not recognised by the Royal Mail. Rated 1 star because I can't give 0.

Same here as many others before me. Ordered online from britbooks via amazon was told order is send, checked with royal mail tracking no: NOTHING. NO such tracking number with royal mail. Lucky i went via amazon as money to be refunded. But I also blame amazon for allowing companies to carry on trading with such a BAD reputation. It's very clear that this company Britbook is untrustworthy, incompetent, and of poor character. Best advice I can give anyone thinking of using this company britbooks stay well clear. Or read many 1 star reviews here on trustpilot.

No book arrived and I can't file a claim as the order shows as in progress.

Same as a previous reviewer. No book arrived and the tracking number is not recognised by the Royal Mail. Email sent via Abebooks. After one week, still no reply. Sent another via Abebooks today. It seems that there is no other way of contacting except via Abebooks, who simply forward the email.

Bought a book via Amazon which was described as "very good". When it arrived it was creased, worn, yellowed and at very most "acceptable" condition.

Britbooks - I have just received an empty envelope with no book inside! How is this possible? Its 48 hours tracked ( no signature) Royal Mail …….

I ordered a book from Brit Books via the Abe Books website. The process started with an acknowledgement of the order and a shipping date by Royal Mail. After a week, as the book had not arrived, I checked the tracking number, which was not recognised as a valid number; same again the following two days, still an invalid number. I sent an email to Brit Books via Abe Books; the latter replied that a credit had been issued (I will check that !). I wonder if Brit Books had the book I ordered and why the tracking number was invalid. I will not use Brit Books again.

Ordered book but invoice says download! Sent 3 emails to try and sort it out. NO response very poor customer service they just ignore you. Do NOT BUY from BRITBOOKS

My parcel had a tracking number and was supposedly "ready for delivery" twice - after a fortnight! In the end I found out that it had not even been posted (generating a ticket does not mean it is on its way!).

I fear this company is in deep trouble and Amazon - as usual - doesn't care and keeps listing its goods.

Beware! If you want to see your money again, use an appropriate payment method - or don't order from Britbooks at all. The website is already down.

Never used before and will definitely not again. I Paid for a book and have chased delivery twice via email (they don’t answer the phone!) & have not had a response. Disgusting service and I should have known as the would not accept PayPal- Complete Con!! Don’t touch them

I often order used books from Abebooks UK. I live in France. It's a great site. Today, for the first time, a package came from Brit Books and the postoffice worker asked me for 10€. I refused and sent the package back. I've ordered surely over 50 used books from different sellers on Abebooks, and this is the first time I've been asked for extra money. I will avoid them in the future. Now to try and be refunded ... (update) that circus continues. I hope Abebooks bans them.

Ordered through Biblio. Book not received. AVOID at all costs.
