There was some little issues. The website isn’t very intuitive and but after a phone conversation with Martin he sorted everything out. I couldn’t order my first bottles online and couldn’t get my 50% new customer discount but Martin got my account credited with no hassle.

We visited the Cannock branch on Friday…
We visited the Cannock branch on Friday as I needed two drill bits, but unfortunately, they were out of stock. However, the Wolverhampton branch had them available. Erika kindly offered to have them transferred over to the Cannock store so I could collect them there.
She called me on Monday morning to let me know that they had arrived and were ready for collection. She had actually gone out of her way to collect them from the Wolverhampton store herself that morning!
Brilliant customer service! Erika is always so lovely, friendly and helpful whenever we visit the store. She really goes above and beyond to help customers, and her efforts are very much appreciated. A real credit to the team!

Consistent delivery issue despite location codes
Despite having individualized location codes to deliver to specific sites BOC continue to deliver gases to the wrong sites. Even worse, they stonewall and refuse to correct their mistakes. We are a hospital and their incompetent mistakes consistently puts patient care at risk and costs man hours to correct. It seems impossible to get anyone useful on the phone and their website is appalling

Absolutely shocking company
Absolutely shocking company, Took a dive cylinder back after renting for 3-4 years never having it refilled and in this time and every monthly dd paid. Rung and cancelled and colleague said nothing was owed and it would be sent to relevant department to cancel it down. Since then they have kept trying to take the direct debit after I was told it was ok to cancel. And now keep adding on £25 late payment and £8 non dd fee. To contact them is a nightmare rung them again yesterday seems they want to just keep adding fees on and make people owe them money. Don’t use them

Been a loyal customer for over 15 years…
Been a loyal customer for over 15 years but they've finally had me over to the point I'll be switching suppliers. They've had 15 days to resolve the issue I raised but never bothered, the customer service is virtually non existent, you get to speak to an Indian somewhere in world that doesn't know his arse from his elbow and you can't hear him clearly because he's got a fan blowing into his face muffling the microphone.
If you want a stress free gas supplier, don't bother with Linde BOC

This is the 3rd complaint in so many…
This is the 3rd complaint in so many months. First complaint was eventually sorted after we stopped production for 7 days. Then around 6th July 2026, same issue again stopped for 5 days. Then ordered Gas for industrial use on 9th July and now on 13/7/2026 being told BOC has no drivers !!! What is going on with this company ? Happy to stop our production and now seriously looking elsewhere. Its SHOCKING !

Retiring, should be former customer hassle I don't need.
At the age of 74, I have finally retired. I handed in my last Argoshield bottle at Glasgow on the 18th of May, 2 days before the renewal date. Fortunately, I have a document to prove it was handed in.
I have now received an Overdue Account reminder and a Surcharge statement! Remember, these transactions are effectively annual deposits, paid in advance. Clearly, their bottle database/spreadsheet is not updated at the end of each working day. It would seem that their accounting system also lacks updated stock information.
I've tried to find somewhere on their site to report the problem, but I can't.
I tried the customer service number 0800111333 at 1.15pm only to have a robotic voice tell me that the service is closed and I should call back between the opening times. I'm sure it says 5pm somewhere.
PATHETIC service in this day and age. Their drive to AI systems produces very poor results, when all that the system is programmed for, is automated order taking. It might work well enough when AI eventually takes over the world, but as an interface with mere human customers, the web site is a disaster; yet we keep being referred back there!
Since commencing this review, I have taken the opportunity of reading some others. It would appear that I am not alone. BOC, far from being a world leader in customer service, has fallen way down the scale. It's not the guys in the depots who are to blame. They have always been extremely helpful. It's clearly a management problem and they have become so dissociated form their customers, that they do not learn from repeated mistakes. Unfortunately, the way AI systems work, they never will.
UPDATE: In today's Post, I have received notice of intended court action from Ogden Lyles & Fox, on behalf of BOC. No wonder their prices are sky rocketing. Employing debt agencies to recover imaginary debts is an expensive game. So let it be known that I intend to publicise these interactions in the Federation of Small Business magazine. This is how BOC treats its long standing, (over 50 years), customers. ABSOLUTE DISGRACE.
I did receive a reply from BOC requesting more information. Trustpilot have kindly published it. I carefully typed up a reply, but the robots are now clearly in charge of customer service too. There is no point in using the email address in their reply. As an answer, I got an email to say that the given email address is no longer in use and my "enquiry" will not be read by anyone! It once again referred me back to the "help" on their web site. Do they actually employ any humans, or have they made the last one redundant? 19/06/26.
