I recently visited Bing Lee Burwood to purchase an item which the website claimed was in stock. Upon arrival the item in store has no stock. So i ask them to order it in. then pay in full, to retain the discount price, no problem, except the wasted trip time and petrol and parking cost ;(
While i am there i decide to check out the TV's as i am looking to upgrade from the last one i bought from the store a few years previous. I was a bit concerned about the narrow tv stand on the tv i liked so tested it by rocking it gently. It moved precariously, i heard laughter which made me look around and about 6 of the crew were looking directly at me with smirks on their faces. A couple of them then wiped the smiles off their faces and headed over. Just for fun i asked a few serious questions. The old guy had no idea at all about the specs or operating systems of the tv, just said use your eyes which one looks better. Needless to say I left the shop with my wallet still heavy despite having the itch to drop some cash on a new tv. Worse than zombies in this shop, with the exception of the lady at the register who was so corteous i remembered her from my last 2 purchases. Way overstaffed with uninterested people who think the customer looks funny for testing the display item before committing to spending a small fortune. Bing, Yenda and Lionel would be ashamed i think.

Never shop at Bing Lee, no change if mind policy and no assistance with products that don’t work as advertised. If there was zero stars this would have been selected.
Unethical, unlawful; should not be in business
If you read their return policy, you will see that there is no specified return period. Apparently this is so that, if you every try to return an item, they can say that you've taken too long. In my case I bought a Fisher & Paykel 10kg washer that (a) leaks from the front door when I wash a queen doona and (b) terminates with soaked, soapy laundry when asked to wash a load of towels. I began complaining about this 2.5 weeks after receiving the item, when the problems became apparent. Bing Lee sent a technician from the manufacturer who said that he's received lots of complaints about this model and there's nothing he can do. He advised me not to wash doonas and towels in it. Bing Lee's rep. said that they won't take the item back as it was not "dead on arrival".
Edit: after I disputed the charge with my card issuer, posted a YouTube video, and wrote multiple negative online reviews, Bing Lee finally took the washer back and issued a refund.
Big Lee's promotions team's poor customer service
I bought a washing machine 31 March with the promise of a $150 Woolworths gift card. It has taken 2 months to receive the promised card. The so called Promotions Team did not respond to my emails and if it wasn't for the help of wonderful customer service person I would never have received it. To make matters worse; due to my mistreatment I was promised 2 x $150 gift cards but only received 1.

Purchased a Breville Barista Pro at Port Macquarie that was faulty after a few weeks not producing steam. When tested at the store it was still not working but it was suggested we just “muck around with it”. When we requested a replacement the manager refused and it was sent for repairs. Replacement of faulty new items should be easy. No good will and the manager was rude and dismissive. Retail should pride themselves on their customer service but not this store. Don’t waste your time here.

Crap service
Booked online on Saturday for delivery on Wednesday.
Rang them to see where my delivery is and was told not coming today maybe Thursday, so another day off work. Customer service was no help.

The item I was picking up was not in stock despite there assurance on the phone that it was. They promised to have it in stock tomorrow of i paid out in full, which i did. I came back the next day neither the sales lady nor the item I ordered was in the shop. What a bunch of morons.
Second quality for Premium price
The Bing Lee guys delivered and installed my new Bosch washer this morning.
Unfortunately it is damaged. There is a pressure dent on the fascia beside the door. This has popped out the side panel, leaving a noticeable gap. Wouldn't be an issue if I'd bought from Seconds World..
Contacted Customer Care, who offered $50 compensation, or a swap to another machine. As the damage is on the fascia, 50 doesn't cut it, and giving up a day for replacement even less attractive.
Don't buy from BL...go straight to Seconds World and really save.
Long wait time, bad return policy, awful customer service
Just recently bought a Galaxy A53 from Bing Lee since my current phone was having issues and needed a phone asap and they had the current best price. Unfortunately, it took almost 2 weeks for the phone to arrive and in that time the price had dropped at JB HiFi and Bing Lee by $150. Even though I had not received the phone yet, Bing Lee would not price match since the purchase had been completed. I contacted Bing Lee about this and they told me I was outta luck. Even JB HiFi has a policy that they will give the difference if the price drops. Will take my future business to a company with a decent return and refund policy in the future.
Poor customer service
Poor customer service. I have a faulty product purchased from Binglee and they referred me to the manufacturer of the product to get it fixed. Aqara have advised to get a replacement form BingLee. When i went back to BingLee I have not received a response in over a week.

Bing Lee Very Unprofessional
Online Sales Customer Service Team are Bullies, we bought a Samsung Lock which came opened , now Bing Lee is accusing us of breaking the seal, all the packaging inside is intact. $864 for the lock and now they want $170 restocking fee as a good will gesture.
Dont think anyone of us get paid as much as they take from us.
spoke with Bing Lee Prospect and they put us through to Online, each one is passing the buck around Very unprofessional.
didn't expect this from Binglee.

BING LEE DID MANAGE TO SELL US AN OPEN BOX, IN A WRAPPED PLASTIC PACKAGE, AND WE AS CONSUMERS WERE NONE THE WISER SINCE ALL THE ITEMS WERE INTACT AND WE GAVE BING LEE THE BENEFIT OF DOUBT.
THAT BEGS THE QUESTION - BING LEE MUST HAVE CHARGED ANOTHER GULLIBLE CONSUMER A RESTOCKING FEE FOR THE SAME ITEM BEFORE DESPATCHING IT TO US.
I AM SURE, BING LEE WILL HAVE EVIDENCE OF PHOTOS OF THE ITEM WHEN PACKED BEFORE DISPATCH.
BING LEE WILL BE ABLE TO DETERMINE THE MISSING STICKER SEAL AND THE GLUE MARKS ONCE THE BOX IS RETURNED. WE HAVE ACCEPTED THE 20% RESTOCKING FEE WHCH I AM SURE BING LEE WILL BE ABLE TO INVESTIGATE IN GOOD FAITH RATHER THAN ASSUMING THE CONSUMER IS THE ONLY ONE AT FAULT.

Bing Lee wants my lunch money
I've shopped in my local store on and off for years. I haven't bought so many things that the sales people remember me, but Bing Lee is where I've bought my appliances, TV, and vacuum/steam mop. My experience has always been good and I've always thought of Bing Lee as a place that is affordable for people on fixed incomes.
Now I bought my first item off the web site (a refrigerator). It's not going to be delivered for a month (if at all), that's after one earlier delay that went from 1 week to 2 weeks. 6 weeks to get a fridge that was marked "in stock" when I paid for it. It turns out it wasn't in stock after all and the web site just lied to me.
The local shop won't make it right by providing me an equivalent fridge that sells for the same usual cost as the fridge I bought. Because the fridge I bought was on sale, they will only swap it for an in-stock model if pay more money. I'm a disabled pensioner and I took out an advance on my disability payment to buy this fridge. I have $6 in my bank account for the next 6 days. I don't have more money to give the local Bing Lee. So, I got a call from a sales guy that was like "Well, it won't show up for at least a month and it could be longer so you know what you have to do if you want a fridge."
I told them that in order to pay for a more expensive fridge I would have to do without groceries for a week and they just don't care.
So, Bing Lee has gone from "Everything's negotiable" to schoolyard bullies shaking down disabled pensioners for their lunch money.

Avoid BingLee Delivery services
If only I had read similar complaints about Bing Lee’s partners who deliver their goods. As stated in some other posts, the delivery companies they use are second rate. I got my Bosch Series 6 dishwasher delivered today. One of the delivery guys was pure obnoxious. Didn’t know how to not intrude, followed me into the bedrooms when I went to find cash to pay them for their “extra” service which was to make the holes on the cabinet a bit bigger. It took a few seconds for the task with a power drill and they charged me $60! I could have happily done it with my tools for free! Bing Lee cannot wash their hands and say “anything extra is upto the delivery people’s discretion” You HAVE to be more specific.
Seriously BingLee, do NOT outsource delivery and installation. You are hurting your reputation. The sales process and store experience was fantastic for me. But the delivery experience has left a bitter taste for me.

I looked up instructions on the internet and it seems that Bosch recommends connecting the appliance to the cold water supply.
Those installers that Bing Lee used didn't even bother to connect it correctly. I questioned them saying that it is the hot water system. The guy overrode me and said "No it is the cold water system"!
Bing Lee asked me to write to customer service after this initial post and I did and nothing happened.
They don't even reply to my emails!!!

Ross and Meryn, from Bing lee Taree store were so professional and exceptionally helpfull, especially Ross! Ross sold me on a LG stick Vac today and his product knowledge was EXTRODANAEY! And even went out of his way on his lunch break to carry the vaccume to my car for me free of charge, i am so greatfull for him. I will be returning again and refering people to Bing-Lee whenever i can! I also would like to add that they should both be rewarded.

Very bad delivery service
I purchased a washing machine on 12th of January from Bing Lee Macquarie Shopping Centre. Order number SO1167508.
During the delivery date on 13th of January, I was in my office to sign a contract with my customer when the driver called me. On the phone, the driver said that he cannot deliver, I therefore decided to involve my wife to this phone call because I cannot handle it. After I merged my wife into this phone conversation, I would like to explain to my wife about the reason that I cannot help her anymore, so I said “I am very busy, I cannot talk”, before I finish the full sentence, the driver interrupted me by saying “I am busy too”.
After I dealt with my customer, I called the driver to understand the status, the driver was very aggressive and said “you are very rude by saying I am busy, you can not say it. I am busy.”
The driver’s behavior is totally unacceptable because:
1. I was busy and I have my rights to tell my family about the reason I made this phone call, but it was interrupted by the driver rudely.
2. “I am busy” is a truth, the driver stopped me rudely and stated that he is busy.
3. The driver started that I am rude by saying “I am busy “.

I have sent e-mail on 13 January 2023. No even one phone conversation with anyone from Bing Lee. Which means that Being Lee has NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Very bad business. Hopefully they will close very soon.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour from Mt Druitt Staff !
I spent over 7k in this store in two transactions within 4 days of each other…and my treatment was terrible. Amongst the items purchased was a 2 thousand dollar iPad Pro. Within 6 days this product crashed and would not restart. I asked the store manager for a replacement or a refund and long story short, he refused to do either, even though Apple customer service even agreed that this should be the case, especially within a week of purchase. The staff were extremely rude,the manager was and absolutely arrogant man who was constantly caught out in lies and then would lie again to cover his own butt, even to his own superiors. I called Bing Lee customer service twice throughout this process and was not given any actual help at all. The manager of that store should be removed from his position, he was untruthful, his behaviour and customer service was terrible and he even swore at my son as my son was leaving the store ( from the service desk in front of other customers !)
I have even spent an extra $229 on AppleCare so that I can ensure that I don’t have to deal with this store again! If I could rate zero stars I would !
