The "in stock" dishwasher took over a week to become available for pick up. And still was not ready the day it was supposed to. I was then talked into getting the hookup kit (yest a new hose is worth getting) but the kit was not the correct advertised/described kit. Had to get a different one, and now need to return the other.

I was extremely impressed and pleased that I knew exactly where the delivery truck was throughout the morning. With my appointed delivery number I knew approximately when my delivery would take place and wasn’t sitting here in limbo like so many other places have left me. I am and will be a Big Sandy fan from now on!

The delivery drivers were not able to remove our refrigerator from the hole it was in. So they left our refrigerator in the garage and told us to call them when we get the fridge out. We were told they were going to remove and hold the fridge.

Communications were great. I purchased online but I never had to call for information because Chase was texting with needed information. After pickup, he checked in to see if we needed anything. Superior service.

We bought a couch, and a recliner today. Karl Wolfe was the sales person we dealt with. He was very helpful,polite.patient and got me all possible discounts. I will continue to be a repeat customer.

My fiance and I purchased a couch on Sunday the 12th of July after purchasing the sectional we were told it wouldn't be delivered till the 21st of July. Meanwhile the sectional is sitting on the showroom floor being sat on and touched for 10 days. We then get a call saying the delivery would be delayed till the 23rd of July. Meanwhile the sectional is still sitting there. We were told if we moved it ourselves it would void the warranty by the sales lady. We will never ever buy from this place again. This is the biggest false advertisement business I've ever run into. A local radio station plays big sandy commercials saying if you order by 3 p.m it will be delivered next day, that's a lie. Don't buy from big sandy the employees lie and there commercials lie about everything.

I brought several items in November 2025 and I paid for the insurance policy. So come to find out my chair was broken when they delivered it. Since then I have had two techs out and here it is July 2026 and it still is not fixed. So if you buy something from here pray nothing never needs to be repaired.

Purchased my living room set April 20th. I was told it would be in within 2-3 weeks. I called May 11th. Only to be told it would be be in May 22. So once again I went into the store. I was told my furniture was there. And that they would call me to set up delivery Monday or Tuesday. Didn’t hear anything Monday so I called Tuesday May 26th. After 4 phone calls I was finally given a delivery date of Friday May 29th. So out furniture that we had we sold and it was picked up on Wednesday.
Well a sales manager calls me May28th to tell me. My sofa is not there. But my loveseat and ottoman were still set for delivery for Friday. Absolutely not I waited at this point 6 weeks.
The salesman did not communicate at all. Their customer service is awful. I don’t know how they are even in business.

Awful service. First the sales women we talked to ignored our calls so we went online to buy. After we bought our sofa we tried to set a delivery time and were told thier systems were down. After a week of calls to the store, the website and corporate we still have not heard anything back. The have basically stole our money and told us they can't do anything about it.
Update* after over 3 months we finally got our full set and no one in corporate has helped and everytime we get a number to call we dont hear back.

This was my husband and I first time shopping here and it will be the last. If we had not paid cash, I would have demanded they pick up their junk. We bought a 3 piece living room suit only to have it 2 weeks and one of the recliners broke. It took 2 weeks to break and 2 months before they can fix it. This morning I went to put skid pads on the legs under the love seat only to realize it was missing a leg cover. Truly not a trustworthy business and one that will not get our business again.

Purchased a floor model refrigerator on April 15, 2026, and it has not worked from day one.
After reporting the issue immediately, I expected a return or replacement. Instead, I was routed through a service process that took nearly two weeks, including waiting for a technician, parts ordering, and a rescheduled repair because the parts were sent to the wrong location.
During this time, I rearranged my schedule multiple times for appointments, only to still be left with a non-working refrigerator.
After continued follow-up, I was finally offered a refund—but only if I return the unit myself or pay a pickup fee. This is not a case of a customer changing their mind. The product was defective from the start and never usable.
Overall, this has been a very frustrating experience. A situation that should have been handled as a simple return turned into a prolonged and inconvenient process, with the burden placed on the customer to resolve an issue caused by a defective product.
I would strongly encourage the company to review how situations like this are handled, particularly when a product is non-functional at the time of sale

Bryce was very help very friendly he made sure our order was right keep u informed when our orders were ready for delivery. I will all ways go back to him. He was fantastic.

They sell cheap quality material with a high price tag and the lies i have been told is unbelievable. They dont stand behind their products. Just stay away and save yourself the stress. Shame on them

BUYER BEWARE!!!! SPEND YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY ELSEWHERE!!!!! This entire experience from the date of delivery (early December 2025) to now, the last day in January 2026, has been horrendous, time consuming, and fatiguing. I will never in my life make a purchase from Big Sandy stores again. I purchased a $2500 leather modular couch with power (it extends to recline) and to my dismay it was delivered with defective parts. I informed the sales representative at the store who placed work orders to have a technician come out to fix them and assured me that someone would reach out within 72 hours to schedule the appointment (this was a frequently recurring lie flippantly spoken by several people both in the store and office). Weeks went by without any word from a technician, salesperson, or manager until I made the exhausting efforts to make contact and hold them to their word. Eventually, (several more days later) the technician observed the couch and decided the manuafacturer defects were not something he could repair. The customer service representatives seemed overall reluctant to assist me and made me feel like I was urging them to go out of their way; in addition, one of them blatantly lied to me stating that the technician never provided a report to have the defective pieces replaced which a manager had to refute later. After many more days of going back and forth with different representatives in this company, none of whom are ever on the same page nor seemingly compentent to help, my replacement delivery date was finally scheduled... until it was prematurely postponed for inclement weather (mind you, the actual delivery date I chose had clear weather, but I digress). Today on my delivery date, the white glove delivery was completely unsatisfactory. The delivery person completely ignored my request to not roll my couch pieces on a very low, rickety dolly through dirty snow and spoke to me very exasperatedly throughout the entire interaction; furthermore, I had to convince him to not leave my cushions on the dirty communal hallway carpet while retrieving the other pieces. Not only that, the replacement pieces were not wrapped, were dirty themselves, had frayed pieces of leather, and a dark mark on one of the cushions. When I pointed these things out to the driver, he kept very rudely demanding if I wanted the delivery or not. As if the integrity of my purchase was the least important thing in the world. I am sad to admit, I kept the delivered replacement pieces despite these issues and the manager's offer (after gaslighting me about my experience) to restart the replacement cycle because the thought of spending even more of my precious time having to follow up with these people, more weeks of this demoralizing customer service, and the risk of receiving yet another defective product make me sick to my stomach. Thus, I cut my losses and am here to deter you from making the same mistake. As I understand it, this company is new to Indianapolis/Plainfield. This was the worst impression and experience I could have ever imagined. I highly recommend that you seek your furniture elsewhere.

IF I COULD GIVE A 0, I WOULD!!! Dont go to the Miamisburg location.Beyond disappointed with this store. We dealt with Cat. Lie after lie. We was gonna go with the $1100 mattress but Cat had told us it would not qualify for the 120 day comfort. So we went with a $4100 one. We asked her, worst case scenario, we could return this for the $1100 one and she said that is correct. So it was better to spend over the limit that was required for the comfort policy. We did not like the mattress so we got ahold of her and told her and said we would like to go with the other one. She insisted we comeback in to decide. So we thought about it and said we wanted to return this, we didn't care what the restocking fee was. She said we dont do that. So I got ahold of a gentleman on line and he told us to get ahold of the sales rep and have her fill out a form that could be sent to corporate for approval for a return and pay the restocking fee. So I got ahold of her and told her what he told me. No response. Then the manager calls me and said Cat was wrong for telling me we can get the cheaper mattress and the gentleman online was wrong also and could not pay a restocking fee. So he said he understood my frustration and would work with me and do a store credit but we had to spend the amount we paid for the mattress by Jan 1st our deadline. That was the best he could do. So we had a bedroom suit picked out which the dayton store did not have a display. So Cat said the bridgewater location had it on display to go check it out there. We did, and that store manager called the dayton store to let him know we wanted to go with that. At first he did not remember the conversation, then he did and said he did not tell me that. So why would I waste my time going to that store? Another lie. So I got ahold of Cat and said I do not appriciate the lies. So what is the managers rule this week? 3 weeks later, still no word. So then I got ahold of customer servise and wanted to file a complaint. So he said he would let the regional sales manager know and I would here from them. 3 weeks later I have still not heard from them either. I was hoping to build that relationship to buy furniture in the future with them. Absolutely not! The lies. The unprofessionalism. Never again will I deal with them!
