Balfe's Bikes - Islington Arvostelua 

We went along to trial some gravel bikes on Sunday morning at the Islington shop. The team were very knowledgeable and helpful taking us through the options and getting us set up with a Trek and a Marvin to try. We decided to go with road bikes in the end, but was good to chat to some experts to help the decision making.

Also, the main guy who helped us was an absolute legend and ran to give us our IDs which we forgot to collect. Absolute hero, great glasses, and he has over 18 bikes!

I wanted a tiny, and fairly obscure part. The sales assistant had a search and brought me exactly what I wanted.

Horrible customer experience to be honest.
First they gave me a quote, then they said they do not have that bike available anywhere on Giant. Then I google searched and gave them the link - post which they did not reply for over a week and then, come back saying the bike is not available again - even after confirming that they already placed an order. Like seriously - what is the order did they place?

Took a bit but service was amazing. Ed did a great job with my bike. Highly recommended.

Anthony F and Bilal were amazing and treated me like someone they knew for long time. Their skills (Anthony as a mechanic and Bilal as a customer service) are unparalleled with any other bike shop I've been to. They really are an asset for the company.

Very friendly, helpful and efficient staff. They even installed a bell which I had purchased and exchanged two clothing items which were too small. All of this without a murmur. I'm impressed!

Had my bikes 1st service done arrived at 9am to drop off to a friendly welcome and was informed that I would be contacted once they had completed the work. They messaged me to let me know that they had finished about 4 hours later and gave me a rundown on things, very helpful with answering the questions I asked them and giving me advice about looking after my bike. Really knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff in store. I had an issue with an order and they were super honest and helped me cancel it without any issues. When I saw they had my bike back in store I decided to try with them again first and am really pleased with my bike and all the accessories I purchased.

Every accessory I bought from Balfe's broke within days, I replaced them all with better quality products for half the price off Amazon.
No refunds or exchanges were offered when I complained - they blamed the manufacturers and said I'd have to take it up with them.
Also, they charged me £38 to change an inner tube, the shop about 200 yards down the road only charges £15.

Got my bike serviced and it came back all cleaned up, great job on bar tape and the steed is running really well- gliding again
