I ordered a car seat for my youngest granddaughter and having got one already I knew exactly what I wanted. the price was really competitive and delivery was included. In the end as I live near to the store I chose to collect it and the team expertly installed it in my car, showing me how to adjust it for growth and comfort.

Always very helpful at Baby birds and if they don't have the product you are looking for , they will order it in. I have bought my daughters prams, nursery furniture and car seats all from Baby birds. The experience has always been outstanding and nothing too much trouble. The reason I go back to buy smaller items, towels, feeding bowls, blankets to name a few. I have got to know the team and Jade has been very supportive in showing how to fit car seats, fold up pushchairs etc. Highly recommend and love to support a local shop.

Absolutely awful !
I did read reviews beforehand, but still thought I'd give them a chance, seen as more people will actively submit a bad experience than a good one. I should have heeded their guidance. I ordered a buggy on 11th Feb. With a 7-10 day delivery . The buggy took a month to arrive!
I called customer service three times, the first two times they did not follow up after they said they would. The third time they did follow up via email, but basically saying no news and I just had to wait. I then sent in a formal complaint after 13 working days had passed and gave them an ultimatum deadline for delivery. The date arrived and I got a notification of dispatch the day after. The items themselves were fine and what I wanted, but their business plan is incredibly poor. They don't seem to know if they have products in stock or on order or where they are being ordered from. Sometimes they are ordering from the supplier to then be delivered to their own store and then reshipped out to the customer. Which makes zero sense.
I had to buy a second hand buggy while waiting for my delivery .
So don't bother ordering here, it may be £10-20 cheaper than high street store but you will lose the money and more in your time and like myself actually having to buy a temporary buggy to get you through the wait.
The customer service agents I spoke to were all very polite on the phone which I will credit them to and they did always answer, but couldn't actually do anything to help the process.
DPD also couldn't find my parcel when they eventually did get to my home (not baby birds fault) and I had to go to the van myself and find it for them - It was there they just had poorly organised their parcels and just had to rummage through everything to find it.

We was welcomed by Jade. Jade went into more detail on a pram we looked at. Very lovely, friendly and took her time explaining everything in detail to us. Would highly recommend. Glad we looked in baby birds.

Take heed of the poor reviews. I ordered a car seat in January that never came - they blamed lack of stock from the suppliers. I would not leave a one star review for this alone, but once it became clear to me that I was not going to receive my item I asked for a refund 6 times over email and twice on the phone and only last week was this confirmed.

The company responded vaguely and often with outright lies about expected shipping dates in an attempt to delay refunding.

I ordered from another website and received my new car seat the next working day.

I spent £2000 on a Silver Cross Kensington pram and was sent one with a bright white handle instead of the matching black handle that was advertised on the listing photo.
When I contacted the company, they called it a ‘small error’ and did not offer to rectify it.
They have now taken my money for a product that I didn’t order - I specifically ordered from this website for a black handle. All I have recieved is apologies and I have been left with it.
I am absolutely appalled.
To reply to your reply - you did switch them around when you advertised them. You uploaded the wrong photo of the item and did not once offer a refund. You advertised a black handle and sent a white when I clicked purchase. Absolutely awful

Placed an order for a new car seat , was not told it was out of stock waited over 3 weeks still nothing asked to cancel order and get a refund was told refund could take up to 14 working days , it’s 2026 if our company has to issue a refund it’s done the same day , did not take me 14 days to pay either

Ordered pushchair from baby birds, there was a hold up with the delivery due to a issue with their supplier. But customer service was great and they communicated the full time so I knew what was happening. As soon as they had my pushchair it was sent next day delivery. Very pleased with my item and the service I received. Would definitely order from them again.

Looks like I have fallen foul of what appears to be a regular way of doing business, I only wish I'd read peoples reviews and took them on board. If you want to place an order and receive goods within a certain deadline then do not order from this company.

I specifically checked by phone if instock prior to placing my order and was told that they were expecting stock from the manufacturer and as my deadline was three weeks away there was no reason why it wouldn't be received.

I made it clear on numerous occasions that if it wasn't going to be available in time to be delivered by 20th (ordered 31st) then I'd need a full refund to clear by 20th.

Return calls never happen and goal posts keep moving, they say they've sourced elsewhere and waiting on despatch details but it's all just stalling tatics. When you say enough is enough and to cancel the order because you need it refunded to your bank by the deadline you get radio silence.

I have now had to result in reporting to my credit card company who were disgusted with how I've been treated and confirm it's not on

Fortunately I made sure that all my requests/stipulations were put in writing so this has all been forwarded to my credit card company.

Save yourself the aggrevation that I and many people appear to have experienced and go elsewhere, they may be a little bit cheaper than elsewhere but there's a reason for that.

Awful company to deal with, I ordered a mattress for my baby's cotbed on Dec 4th, with an estimated delivery time of 7-10 days. I emailed them multiple times over the course of almost 2 months but never received the mattress, and I had to ask for a refund in the end as my baby was outgrowing their crib and needed a new bed immediately. They are unprofessional and don't seem to care very much about their customers. It is amazing that they are still in business

Awful customer service. I have been begging for my order to be cancelled and they just will not do it. One item said 7-10 day delivery and that was due almost 2 weeks ago and I haven't had it. I ended up purchasing from elsewhere as I needed it after the 3rd February and that's been and gone, thank good another company manage to deliver within 2 days.

I wouldn't even waste my time browsing their page. I'd rather spend a little more to get it elsewhere.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Ordered a gift for a baby shower, it arrived in a damaged box in a flimsy thin bag. I called to ask for a swap as I cannot gift an item that looks second hand (£60 spent) and was told that as the actual item wasn’t damaged I was welcome to send it back at my own cost, but they wouldn’t offer a free replacement. The monotone customer service agent who couldn’t have cared less, described the images as “a bit of damage to the box”- the whole side of the box was caved in and the front torn, slight damage it was not. I’m curious if he or the Baby Birds team would be comfortable gifting something that looks like it’s from a boot fair to their loved one? I can’t believe any company would think that what I received is acceptable and are proud that that’s their service. From viewing the comments on TrustPilot as well and Baby Bird replies, they take no responsibility and would rather argue with customers proving they’re right, than offer helpful solutions. Avoid - I’ll go to proper shops such as John Lewis or Selfridges next time as this outfit are absolute cowboys.

Excellent company quality items ordered from many times amazing items delivered. Asked for a refund on some items as no longer needed and received and instant email back and refund straight away couldn’t ask for more will definitely be buying more items for my new baby when she’s born. Thanks to Meg for all your help

Highly recommend! I have purchased multiple items from here as it’s my closest baby shop. Everyone is super helpful and lovely. Ais helped me the last time I was in and went above and beyond to make sure I had the right buggy, even letting us check the size in our boot.
