I ordered a Kinderkraft HALLEY Scooter from Baby Birds for my child’s birthday, only to be told days later that it was actually out of stock. After six weeks of waiting and sending around ten emails, I still haven’t received the product or any meaningful update. I’m now stuck chasing them just to get the order cancelled and my refund issued.
This has been, by far, the most frustrating and unacceptable online shopping experience I’ve had.

Visited when my second was a newborn, looking for double prams and easy light single prams. Staff were very helpful and advised perfectly

I bought a Bugaboo Donkey 5 from Baby Birds shortly before my fiancée was due to give birth to our second baby. I was nervous about the delivery time but the staff were incredibly attentive and made sure the buggy got there on time. I would highly recommend.

Very efficient service.
I had made an error on placing my order and Meg resolved the issue for me without delay.
I am very impressed with their customer liaison and will definitely order from Baby Birds in future.

Not great would not purchase again or recommend! Their delivery times are misleading, the way products are advertised is misleading. I ordered a car seat which on their website said “Available to purchase”, got confirmation email stating delivery would be in 7-10 days. I had to follow up over a week later and they said they hadn’t received the item and were waiting on the supplier. So be careful as “Available to purchase” doesn’t mean the item is actually in stock. Also, the deliver days are actually Business Days! And when I said that there’s a big difference, they slapped me with “well it’s in our T&Cs so…”. Like yeah because we all read the T&C’s whenever we make an online purchase as opposed to just checking what the confirmation email and checkout says when we individually order. Some of the customer service agents were nice, but some of them really gave me attitude when I expressed how disappointed I was with their services. After all of that, they exceeded the 10 Business days, still no idea when they would get the item, so I had to request a refund, I’m still waiting on my money to be sent back over 3 weeks later! Once the email request for a refund is finally acknowledged it gets sent to their accounts team who require another 7-10 business days to send you your money back :))) Meanwhile I got next day deliver from Uk baby center who are great! I hate to leave a bad review but the whole experience has just been really poor!

Very poor experience. Should really have paid attention to the other similar negative reviews before ordering. They're clearly drop-shipping stuff, and frequently ultimately aren't able to get the stock.

In my case, I received email several days after placing order informing that they didn't have it, wouldn't have it for over six months, but would post it when they do have it in six months time.

Fairly stupid thing to say. Obviously when the delivery time changes from 2 days to 6 months+ you just need to cancel and refund the order.

Have now chased for a refund three times in writing, and multiple times by phone. No response to emails, and still no refund. As other reviews have said, as soon as you ask for a refund, there's radio silence and excuses. Just buy it elsewhere, it's not worth the messing about.

Reply to Babybirds, I'm not interested in how you manage your email inbox, nobody is. And nobody measures delivery times in seasons. You'd do better just sorting problems than trying to come up with excuses; you're not clever to come up with convincing ones. I ultimately got a refund from Paypal, not from you. You lot were still playing games.

We placed a order for a car seat base which was in stock at the time
Of ordering , 6 weeks later still no base, we called weekly with false call back
Promises , today we decide to drive to the store ,still no one has any idea of where the base is , requested a refund, which has to be emailed to there head office , to now have a email informing us we will get a refund within 14 working days … still no car seat ,

If you have time read Emma the owners story , she opened the shop to make it hassle free shopping ahead of the birth of your child , we have had nothing but hassle …..

My cybex pram was sent off for repair with ease and promptly through Babybirds. Meg was super helpful keeping me updated throughout with its progress back to me. Thank you so much Meg at Babybirds :)

Terrible experience. Ordered a cot in early January, mid February I chased it up to be told it was out of stock until beginning of April. They then contacted me in April to ask for additional £40 delivery fee for delivery to NI, despite this not being mentioned on the website at the time of ordering. I asked to cancel the order and they said the could not guarantee refund until they confirmed with the supplier!

Meg was fantastic, quick responses, helped with the issue fast and sufficient. Super happy with the service.

Needed an added accessory for our silver cross pram that we purchased second hand - found the exact thing we we needed whilst browsing the baby birds website a member of the team called me to confirm the colour I’d chosen and within days I received the item.
Amazing and will definitely be using baby birds in the future.

Fast delivery nice design

We purchased the wrong crib and wardrobe set. We asked to cancel the order and they were very accommodating and offered us a full refund. We was also asked which crib set we wanted and they sourced this for us and matched it to the correct mattress. Fantastic!

The team at baby birds especially Meg and Adam were brilliant..there was a little hiccup with the order of my joie eclipse double stroller..but Meg and Adam kept me informed of its whereabouts until I received it..
