Winter cocoon responded within 24 hours when I contacted them that I had not received any updates about my order. The day that I was contacted and told that they would look into the issue I also received an email that my fan had shipped. I am very happy with my purchase and I'm considering purchasing another fan. The fan creates a barely noticeable breeze which makes sense because a stronger one would defeat the purpose.

Living in the mountains of Montana and heating with wood, I had often had difficulty heating my open space in the livingroom area. I have often wanted to purchase a fan for my wood stove, but found them too expensive. Until I found Winter Cocoon! I purchased one of their fans and to my amazement--It Works!! At first I didn't think it was working, because I couldn't actually feel air circulating from the fan itself, but within a couple of hours I noticed a significant difference in the temperature throughout my living area. I'm thinking about purchasing another fan just so I can have them pointed in opposite directions.

This fan works well. It's not powerful but it definitely moves heated air away from stove into the room.

I’ve only had this fan for a couple of days. So far it appears to help more than the inbuilt electric fan in my wood burner fire. I have switched off the original fan as the top doesn’t get as hot with it on. The Winter Cocoon fan is silent which is a bonus. Will post again in a few weeks.

I purchased two of these fans along with a thermometer. They worked for about two weeks operating within the suggested temperature range, and then both failed. The company sent out replacement kits reluctantly, and one of the fans then operated in the wrong direction. They were correctly installed (the keyed plug ensures they only go one way). WInter Cocoon would like a video of the fan going the wrong way. No ownership of the faulty product. I have binned the fan - dont waste your time and money with this mob. You will find the exact same fans on ebay for less than half the price.

A pleasure to deal with, order arrived ontime and unfortunately damaged, was immediately offered compensation, cannot fault the service

Fan worked once then never again. Company responded to emails but refuse to actually do anything. Product arrived with no instructions yet it will fail if a stove is too hot! Should come with this advice and a thermometer.
I am out of pocket and very annoyed.
AVOID THIS PRODUCT AS ITS NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE.
My fan arrived in a brown box. No useful instructions. Had I known it is not suitable for use on a wood fire heater then I would not have wasted my money

I have a wood stove and it gets very hot. Put this little fan on stove and within 45 seconds blades started spinning faster and faster. However I can't feel much of a breeze in front of fan. Lit my lighter and at 6 inches flame flickers but doesn't blow out, at 12 inches flame stands straight not even a flicker. Seems like a very cool little device but performance not so good.

I really like these fans as I have a 2' wide hallway between my wood stove and my bedroom...
I have lived without any way of increasing flow of warm air from my main living space to my bed room until now via these really interesting and very functional fans. My bed room was always 20ºƒ+ degrees below that of the living room area which was comfy.
I now find my bedroom only 10ºƒ cooler than the living room! Way more than I thought would happen! I'm 1 month into month into fan usage and I am quite happy I have a warmer bed room and also a bit warmer bathroom too! (It's half way down said hallway from my bed room!
Love these little beasties! A noticable difference I am hoping will last into some reasonable point in the future, with help from a stove top temp monitor.
